Foreward Poems | Examples

Premium Member The world today

So much unrest
Mankind seems to be failing the test
We are not at our best
Crime soaring
Voices roaring
Everyone wants to fight
Doesn't seem right
I don't understand
This is not how it was planned
I see the hate
So much of late
Violence ruling
who we think we are fooling
So many dying
We are no longer flying
Falling
Foreward motion is stalling
Going in the wrong way
With the future we play
Puts a tear in my eye
Falling from the sky
I do not understand why
Fake
Such a mistake
Mankind sinking in it's wake
Humanity could go so far
Reaching for a star
Just have to survive all the hate
Change this fate
Leave it behind
Bring peace to the mind
Be kind
I have faith in my heart
Mankind cannot stand apart.
But I feel fear
Think war is near
Too bad
Makes me sad
Something has to give
Let humanity live
Life is priceless
Hate should be lifeless
Step above the hate
It is not to late
I don't like the way
The world is today
My dreams are in the knowing
Stop hate from growing
The pain is showing
Compassion needs to stay
Let love lead the way

Premium Member Babyhood Syndrome

In Christmas this old man thought time was good
To drink foaming beer as much as he could
Fell asleep after last sip
Didn’t foresee he’d start to drip
Needed diaper, go back to babyhood.

Premium Member Rhyming Hopes

The skies are dark late at night the days seem lonely too
There is an empty space filled with cranky legs and a tired brain
Gone are all the hopes and dreams and work I use to do
Though I see the world is trembling filled with struggles and pain
Its time to come back to the living world into the Cosmos’ creation

Evolving at this stage advancing years in this elder generation
Searching for working foreward and bringing hope again
The world is struggling, creatures in need aim high with aspiration
Hoping if only a small something fine will help in the worlds liberation
Allowing me genuinely to feel fully alive in whatever years remain

Turmoil

~Turmoil~

Twas turmoil in our Heart
we felt from afar, tauntze,
Thyn twas'ed evil in our Hearts
ruptured from thee precepess of
will, . . . be that it let it be
by will . . . that this precepess
this evil taken forth, & decay's
thus thyn will, of fortitude,
byein thy precepess of will, brought
foreward with fortitude, & justice
seeking from the myre, of thyn
Fortitude taking no heed accord
with itself, & to stand strong, as
I am Strong . . .

Mystic

I venture forth in this wood unknown
Trembling inside this greenery overgrown
I trustingly advance each step foreward
Inching towards my fate unguarded
Lowering my gaze somewhat subdued
I spy my rainbow my future I view
Longing future wisdom spiralling notions
My lusty prelude to imagination enthrown!

Life On Hold

As your dreaming one night,
a voice speaks to you telling
you this, look at yourself,
from the outside, step out of your
body and take a look.

What do you see? Put your life on
pause and look around of what
you have become, click the re-wind
button of your life, stopping here and there.

Playing some parts, passing others by,
now fast foreward to the present,
look at your self, the way others do.

Are there changed you can make, I do
think you can do better, so why
don't you give it a try.

Waking up, you look around the room
you're all alone, still you wonder,
tomorrow changes you will make.
