Rhyming Hopes

The skies are dark late at night the days seem lonely too
There is an empty space filled with cranky legs and a tired brain
Gone are all the hopes and dreams and work I use to do
Though I see the world is trembling filled with struggles and pain
Its time to come back to the living world into the Cosmos’ creation

Evolving at this stage advancing years in this elder generation
Searching for working foreward and bringing hope again
The world is struggling, creatures in need aim high with aspiration
Hoping if only a small something fine will help in the worlds liberation
Allowing me genuinely to feel fully alive in whatever years remain

Your dream is my dream. Even though old age is crippling me with arthritis. But I wish I could go out of this house and enjoy life again.

I am sorry you are having problems, arthritis can get really difficult and painful. I am glad that you are using some time for your poems. Some are very thoughtful uplifting and positive . I write to help work on my little brain to keep it working, due to some illness. I am sure others have their stories about how writing helps them as well as the readers. Take care look forward to what you write.
