Premium Member Where Blue Flames Rise

An antique shovel pushes into sacred dirt,
sprinkled with cinnamon and crushed obsidian rose petals,
while a blazing bonfire roars,
lighting up the night sky.

Ravens watch with intense scrutiny,
the voices in my head quieting,
as snakes slither around my neck.

Opening a weathered pouch,
I remove ceremonial offerings:
bottles of blood-red wine and pristine garnets.

I place them among shedded snake skin,
gingerly replacing the earthen soil.

The intoxicating scent of dragon's blood surrounds me.
Orange flames crackle, mutating into the deepest blues.
Claret clouds partially cover the full moon.
Shadows of ebony horns dance within the in-between.

Melodious gothic hymns fill an anticipating soul.
Warm breath flirts with the back of my neck.
Razor-sharp nails gently glide against pale flesh.
A beautifully savage silhouette forms in the corner of my eye.

Tonight, I dance with Lilith
among the ashes of glorious destruction.

Premium Member Twin Flames

Two weary hearts call out in yearning song,
both searching for a dream to heal their soul.
The touch of love's been absent for so long;
their needs grow bold as passion takes control.

Each lonely spirit hears the other's cry
and journeys quickly to that gentle tone.
Upon approach, a bond they can't deny
as twin flames melt into a fire that's grown.

The blaze engulfs their hearts as beats combine,
a perfect union formed within this heat.
Consumed by adoration so divine
they feel that restoration is complete.

Surrounded by a newfound love to share,
they know this is the answer to their prayer.

Forever Lost

Fading flames of fervour have extinguished my once fervent fight for fulfilment and a bright future.
My future lies ahead dead, stone cold dead and lifeless, no chance for a revival- yes you heard what I said.
Waning wishes have worn down my willpower, leaving me lost in a weary wasteland.

No direction home, no guiding star from above, only a dark, perilous void filled with bitterness and regret.
Stripped of my spirit, devoid of hope- this lost soul cannot float.
I'm drowning, while you only describe the water to me.
Watching my former self silently suffer, as soulless serpents slither by.
Ignoring my cries, drifting further from my dire circumstances.

Flames

A fire crackles on a cold night
Illuminating the darkness with faint light
Toasting the cold hands and feet
Providing safety and heat
A fire protects from creatures
The orange glow an interesting feature
Every flame twists and turns
Creating shapes as it burns
Every crackle and pop from the log
Causes the mind to defog
Smoke billows into the night sky
Drifting in the breeze so high
Fire is life for the cold and weary
Can be the difference between life and death in theory
For those not adventurous
Lighting a fire isn’t treacherous
We can sing and dance
And let us enjoy the romance
Of those dancing flames
Providing safety to play games
With family and friends
You decide how to enjoy and how it ends

Crown of Flames

No gold, no jewels, no soft velvet bed
Just a halo of fire around my cold head
A crown of flames that’s scorching hot red
In shades of blood these hands have now shed

I wander in the valley that shadows have led
Where the weary broken souls have solemnly fled
‘Walk the beaten path’ is what they always said
But I set the path ablaze and let the fire spread

I’m a feral animal that cannot be tamed
And you won’t ever see me bow out in shame
Cuz I’ve been ignited and I can’t be contained
So burn me at the stake if you can’t stand my name

Premium Member Fire's Fragile Flames

Written: December 05, 2025,

                     *****************

Night: a single breath, galaxies stalled in its chest,
silence stone-heavy—glass melodies cracking.

Shadows lean softly against the walls,
not menacing, but patient—
listening for the flicker of a hesitant heart.

From a throne carved in gilded stone
They vented vile voices to the katabatic wind,
wailing whispers waft over wintry wear.

I grasp a world engulfed in fire
Every flicker a fragile fantasizing flake,
shrunken before bloom.

Ego prowls like a stray wolf
shattering serenity into jagged shards,
gain drifting toward despotic dominion.

We raise stone altars disguised as bridges—
only to watch them crumble
into dust beneath our crossing.

Buried deep in earth lies a singular root,
a quiet colloquy to a ubiquitous crown—
Life unfolds, shadows brood,
delicate yet enduring, thriving in the gloom.
And the human spirit shines with brilliance.

Our flames defined

Holy, is the man to the flame
Calmed in its presence of evil
His passion fuels it brighter.
The man lights up in flames
To muster the chaos away.
The man self-immolates
His own cause for his own end.

He controls the flame to her end.
If she fought for passion
He tied her hands.
If she healed the sick
He called the village to spew shame.
If she was made unpure
Throw the fuel at her feet.
If she dare to speak
Spark the flame.
If she even have a brain
Watch her burn up in flames.

Her soul is made to burn
For the security of a man's soul.

Premium Member The lines written in happiness are now flames dancing within me

The lines written in happiness are now flames dancing within me,
A leading role that turned me into a ghost on divine stages.
A forgotten radio play, without a director to guide its way,
Piano notes float inside me, echoes from a particular realm at bay.
Is it pleasure or fear that I feel in the depths of my profound being?
The awakening of madness, a mix of cries and deep silence, agreeing.
With trembling hands, I cling to the thin threads of reality,
A paradox opening my path to the labyrinths of eternity.
It's a bewildering paradox I live with every passing moment,
A book written by me, yet burned, leaving cold ashes in atonement.
How long will I wander this road, without a place to rest my head,
Always moving, knowing there's no home where I can be led?
I am a traveler lost in time, a dreamer without a clear aim,
In search of meaning, a longing in my soul that never fades, never wanes.
In the stream of consciousness, a silent song is born, struggles, and breaks,
And in this silence, a melancholic magic, a destiny that never forsakes.

Little Flames

Little flames
surrounded by brick
            Christ on the cross

Silent Angels
waiting for the service
              to begin

Wood, incense, dusty books,
                    filled with
             ancient hymns

Kneeler creak, glass doors
                     sometimes ...
             God arrives too late !

Whispers from heaven
               open arms
         sometimes he catches you

as you sit filled with despair
                 free falling,
                        GRACE!

WATCHING FLICKERING FLAMES-TSF
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
amber
beacon
flickers,
offers
comfort
and hope,
time roams.
I watch
flames leap
candle
takes me
back in
time to
my home.
I hear
echoes,
voices
from past
from those
long since
deceased.
I smell
mother,
her scent
wafting
through time’s
boundless
retreat.
Premium Member The Flames of Love
Fuel~
that first knowing look
eyes meet, a warmth grows inside
you lay the kindling
trees beginning that old dance
laying stones to contain it
Heat~
strike sparks of desire
this heat grows into hot flames
keep adding the fuel
the dance that builds what then will
burn hot and settle, steady
Oxygen~
the flames may waver
blow on embers with kisses
they need constant care
flames burn hot with whispered words
tended love won’t extinguish
A riot born of flames and rage
A burned up system of control
A revolt spoken with flames
Silence was no longer an option
Peace had been exhausted
The only language they communicate
Violence
The police man specialises in brutality when it comes to the black man
'Stop and search'
An excuse they use
To abuse
The 'blacks"
Used as a slur
By the oppressor
As if it's poison, as if it's something to beware
Of
The Brixton riots of 1981
An explosion ready to happen
All that was needed was a lighter to spark the fuse
13 bodies
13 humans
13 black men,
Lost to hate
Tensions rose like the smoke in the buildings
A quite smile left on the faces of those reeling
Their own kind of justice, it was oh so freeing
Retaliation they didn't expect
In their own words they believed they had 'controlled the blackies'
But we have a weapon
One that whispered through generations
Nothing loud
Just something strategic
Something quiet
A lingering secret
Black rage
A communal experience
Of built up fatigue
Of the uk's involvement
In the mistreatment Of black people
