My Country: The Philippines

I love the Philippines
I thank God for all
The beautiful creations
In our country
I love the beautiful beaches
In Palawan, in Boracay, in all
The beaches of 7,641 islands
I love the green and lush forest
I love the festival in all year round
The Sinulog, the Fiestas, the Christmas
I love the food dishes that imbibes culture
From the indigenous taste to Spanish cuisine
To the Chinese teahouse to the Western cafe
Much as I love is my own simple people
The mix of melting pot of breeds: The Filipinos
The mix of cultural heritage we have today
The hospitality and the smile we shared
To all people of the world
As they come to our places
Assured, secured and and well-respected
There's nothing like country as Philippines
The Pearl of the Orient Seas.

Dullness In the Mind

There is a dullness in my mind
I have tried to figure out every reason that I can find
Music, Yoga and Work on my list stand tall
Friends and Food Fiestas could not cure it at all
What is it called “ DEPRESSION”
My soulmate, my companion, my life stealer
Since I cannot beat you, I have learnt to dance with you each day
A different step , a different twist, a different twirl
And so also with thoughts new and changing everyday
This dance with the brooding wolf … peeking out every new moon night
Waiting for a new break…. a new dawn…..

The Elegant Maiden

Short but beautiful,
Beautiful and dutiful.
Dutiful in deligience,
Deligent and intelligent.

The mood of thy pleasantries,
Wroth fables of dignities.
Your egg-y shaped physiognomy,
Mount emotions in hurry.
The smiles of thy face,
Is embroided with bewitching triats.
The venom of thy eyeballs,
Pierce through the rigidity of juvenile's hall.
You're wonderfully made,
And gorgeously create.
None can thy bride price paid,
But a Juvenile bewitched with grace.

Me-take this not as a woo,
But a praise of my friend boo.

When i think of you,
With the aid of celestial rule.
The shape of your shadow,
Barges into life more hollow.
Thou art a queen: Indeed,
Full of optimum grace to feed,
All being that cross thy path,
And blossomly for they that are your part.

Me-take this not as a woo trends,
But as a praise to my boo's friend.

Haddassah: Esther,
Yea,the queen of all fiestas.
Thou art been metamorphosed,
To light from darkness force.
Thou owe worry no dime,
For with you has my g.f dine.
And she'd promised me heartily,
To convey you relentlessly to his territory.

The Elegant maiden of his sanctuary!

Premium MemberCity of My Youth

In Andres City where my feet grew up
Ancestral house draped nights mildly beaming,
I retrace childhood with gazes, non-stop
Where pillow fights turned into hushed dreaming.

Strange, most oak trees now ripped by skylines
And the fountains... oh gone for young tugs-of war;
Where siblings rushed on for afternoon pastimes
Till Mom called for dinner through doors, afar.

Sketching the old plaza of teenage fun
My shoes roams, this scene now a memory;
Trimmed with fiestas-- dances I rerun,
Embracing the girl and adult in me.

I look and absorb, for the moon will set
Never exactly as it hangs low tonight...
And though my heart sinks, it will not forget
Each moment which lives within--ever bright!

Black Currant Roll Fiestas

in the church of the latter day pipe dream
the jungle heartbeat settles with the sleeping sun,
the hightone choir kicks up a midnite melody filled with street bead jubilee

in the chiily frost a houndrel skidmark queen skates circles
around the thatched hut of eternity
holding burning rites reaching back through catacomb starlights

marriage a forgotten horse and buggy seventy six trombone dream routine left in the blue sky cornfield tractor breeze
sex evaporates like a withered tiger eye in a jejune july wind
satisfaction’s red lip lightning bolt sparks green exit goddess dressing golden imprimatura in the fog lifting drift

teenage trollers leave their uneasy dancing slipknot slippers at the doorstep of juicy blended upended black currant roll fiestas

Premium MemberPearl of the Orient

Seven thousand islands grace the shore
as narra trees arise , sun -dressed
with ripples humming a native folksong--
gracious the womenfolk, caressed
by Philippine beaches ever idyllic--
and exotic garlands spill from their baskets
crowning fiestas with decorative wares.
And boatmen wave to relish town’s gaiety
the canoes sailing in May's fluvial parade;
when wavelets of joy twirls, animated
along dewy coastlines… such heritage bears
the name reflecting its grandeur, 'Pearl of the Orient.'
My dawn and night broth, this homeland
where birthmark prints…a natural wonder of the world!

El Dia De Los Muertos

Underneath the stars and moon,
cast the runic stones tonight,
invoke the ancient spirits
with fires lit for magic rite.

We claver with all lost souls,
and cajole in joyful voice
of fiestas for the dead
the year ahead songs rejoice

As the Sun God bids farewell,
in darkness dwells 'til winter's birth,
and light returns in Yule's fete,
celebrate across the Earth.

The besoms sweep the home free
of malignant deeds and thought
upon the dawn of the year
with no fear we start with naught.

So charge the glass, take a drink,
on the brink of old and new
the dead shall dance for awhile
and Samhain smiles upon you.

Decorated

Confetti from fiestas
wafting through the air,
have landed lightly in her web
she chose to leave them there.
Tiny bits of gold and green
and red so cheery bright,
decorate Ms.Purple's scene
a spider's pure delight.
