Fear the Faulty Hand

The Furies in all their rage hath not the vengeance in his soul
Which boils like the maelstrom and spills upon the shore

The tide rising higher and higher
til it fills the lowland of their bitter malcontent

If righteous indignation had the power heaven holds
The sea now wormwood should turn crimson in this night

But darkness has this stake alone which knoweth not the Good
And darkness that comes with the noon blots out the strongest light

Til the sun surrenders all the good that comes upon the day
And nothing grows save inky stain where hatred rules the play

Casually Waiting for a Casualty

Forgot to wait for it
Fcking got me again
Let my guard way too far down
Didn't even see this one begin
These chemicals got us on lock
With the hardest chains to break thru
It's like I'm walkin in this haze with you
Waiting for the chaos to ensue
All it takes is a tiny little attitude
And the war stews
Explosions all around me...
I'm so confused
Didn't even know pain is my only truth
What am i supposed to do?
Apparently I have no clue...
It's a circle I can't seem to get around
Slamming my head into the corners
Of this reality
Wtf do yall want from me??
Everytime I think I'm figuring out what this life is all about
Sht gets all flipped upside down
Kuz I guess my face supposed to keep a frown
Life is pain?
Or was it love?
Both kinda work
If I don't catch the bluff..
When is enough enough?
Why is getting through this so damn rough?
When will my heart be tough enough
To know not to trust??
Like.....f*cckk
At least give me some time
To readjust
Like..I blink once..blink twice
Bam!!
Ima b*tch again
I was still on the page
Where we lovers AND best friends
Guess my pace a little too slow
...idk
Free my soulllll!!!

faulty memory

Faulty memory

In the night, the brain had been busy changing my mind.
I have heard many stories in my lifetime, but they are
not forgotten
in my sleep, the story continues and gets a different ending, Sometimes, when remembering my childhood, I tell a story of something that happened to me, only to realize later that I cannot pinpoint the moment and where it happened. When I try to spin the memory, there is no before or after. The conclusion is that I’m telling of a memory that belongs to someone else; a story of a small boy, discovering the wonder of the day.

Premium MemberFaulty Perceptions

Release the world from your faulty perceptions,
And all the threatening things you believe it to be.
We see the world through our own tinted lenses.
Only the things we look for, are the things that we see.

When we question the origin of misguided beliefs,
They cannot hold up to scrutiny’s piercing gaze.
When exposed, they cauterize our gaping wounds by
Forgiving the sins, releasing the pain in a glorifying blaze.

The devil is in the details.
It's a house of cards built on shifting sand.
Release one false belief and let
The rest collapse in your trembling hand.

Our Brains

ETHREE-NONET POETRY

  OUR BRAINS
Man's
Faulty
Brain power
Is limited
In this place of sin
Even the genius
Uses maybe ten percent
God plans much more for His children
What a blessing our life will soon be
If we will let Him take over our lives
Then God's universe we will explore
We will know how dull we were here
How stunted our growth has been
How our foe has fooled us
And kept us in paths
That led us to
Forsake God's
Loving
Way

Premium MemberFaulty

Lackadaisical loose words they just slip
between the cracks of a devious phrase;
Low voice gives away such a careless quip
echoing with the error of your ways;
Faulty is the way things are nowadays
I will never fall victim to your game,
my full mouth will never utter your name;
Anything you claim is just false pretense;
We have never been and are not the same,
please do not try to translate my silence.

Premium MemberFaulty Physics

In the garage with my back turned
I hear the shatter and spin around.
Shards of porcelain on the ground.
Questions were asked, nothing was learned.

My 4-year-old stood there,
With a plastered smile and averted eyes.
He was guilty but proof was the real prize.
I had nothing but accusations to bare.

"You dropped it," I muttered.
"No I didn't," he asserted.
"It dropped itself," he blurted.
To the broom I puttered

With faulty physics to blame.
I swept up the pieces as well all
Floated up, up, up
Into the rain.

Faulty Perception

Faulty Perception

I loved your wild curling hair

I loved your gold green eyes

I loved your silly cleft chin

I loved that you loved me

I loved the idea of love

I saw what I thought was damaged

I saw what I thought I could mend

I saw what I thought was you

I saw what I thought was me

I saw what was not there.

Premium MemberA Faulty Mirror

Just looked in the mirror and was totally aghast
The mirror must be faulty it's an error unsurpassed
My scale is also to blame
Or not as good as they claim
Something sure seems messed up as I let out a gasp

Faulty Heart

My Love-life’s more of a boutique,
Too many people, makes one end oblique.
I can’t figure out the connection,
Yet, so if I’m wrong there’s room for correction.
I think I’m stunned by your seduction,
And you’re really good because there’s no reduction
In my feelings, since you’re as sweet as cherry,
As sexy as Halle Berry.
Though my feelings are microscopic
I’m not dumb, not hygroscopic
Because even if you have beautiful sharp eyes,
Behind them are well-curved lies
Filled with mocking cries.
You’ve left me feeling bitter,
So I’ll block you from my twitter.
You weren’t Unique
Just blinded by your physique.

"Teach me to feel another's woes,
To hide the fault I see;
That mercy I to others show,
That mercy show to me."

Alexander Pope, 1688 - 1744
____________________

I began life pure and guiltless,
A girl innocent and faultless;
As I grew my soul became flawed,
Teach me to heal fault I see, God.

My young soul began to have cracks,
It is full of fractures and gaps;
From pits of sorrow I have clawed,
Teach me to heal fault I see, God.

This life gone awry and amiss,
oh could you please, please press a kiss;
I am weary of this façade,
Teach me to heal fault I see, God.

Each day, moment I am falling,
I am damaged, broken, weeping;
From chains of the past I have crawled,
Teach me to heal fault I see, God.

But deep inside there is a strength,
In this faulty soul's depth and length;
I am weakness and strength. How odd!
Teach me to heal fault I see, God

Faulty Love

Love does not reject
Anyone nor does it respect
The barriers that society
Has built to segregate
As classes aggregate
Beggars at the gate!
Oh, the dread!
But love does not build
Barriers but seeps
Through them like vapour,
Like air.
Love has good thoughts
About all
Even those who stumble
And fall
As lave is left standing tall
Amidst small minds
Of all kinds
As love casts no stone
And picks no bone
Of contention
Not to mention
But to cover all faults
As we all
Are faulty.

Carry On, Oh Dangling Daughter of Faulty Freefall

hello to the unknown pretender
goodbye to the overexposed defender
all my love to the taker, but never the resender

all the darkness has sharp edges
all the cavities have roadblocks for decoration
all the lesions have mercilessly given pledges
all the blackheads have blockaded all attempted restoration

i offer you flowers, but you want golden stairsteps
i offer you interchanges, but you want platinum destinations
i offer you clarity, but you want festive, material chaos
i offer you me, but you want the thorn crown of melancholy

knowing this in the now like POW!,
i depart not in frustration, but in a
Deeper Depth of the Discovery of Self....

all i can now do is offer you the warm side of an Alladin's lamp
i hope that the wishes you make will only beautify the maintenance of your personal satisfaction
if I who is ME cannot fulfill your individual zest with additional glee,
then i can only kiss the Welcome Mat of Prayer and welcome back the Internally Divine Player....

Premium MemberRingo's Faulty Grammar 400th Poem

“Ringo Starr” is your popular name.
With it, you have achieved fame.
Few people know you as “Richard Starkey”.
That is the name you use legally.

You were the drummer for a four-piece band all would know.
However, you parted ways with them long ago.
From there, you became a solo recording artist.
You had a hit song that topped Billboard‘s list.

Everybody’s familiar with “It Don’t Come Easy”.
You sold lots of records, and made a lot of money.
There is a bit of faulty grammar I see:
“It Doesn’t Come Easily” is saying it properly.

Your song became popular once it hit the air.
As for your grammar, nobody seems to care.
Your performances still garner many cheers.
You have been quite famous all these years.
