On the fatherhood

It's difficult to define a father precisely
So, let's imagine how a father would be
A father may be figuratively similar to these:
A starting point, a fulcrum, a roof, a piece of land
A mountain, a sky, a star, a beam of sunshine
A lamp, a mirror, a book, a guide,a set of minds,
...
I reckon a father can be similar to each of them
if he is viewed from different perspectives
However, fatherhood will not be fairly defined
If all the pieces above aren't yet combined ?

FATHER CHILDREN FAMILIY

Love really exists
Caring reciprocal love
Father, children, happy family...

Father of the earth, you are beautiful
created in magnificence
graciously gifted by God
to give yourself to your children in love!

Father, exemplary man, strong
husband and royal protector,
crucial support and support...

Gently but attentively,
father warns; daughter, don't play at the table!
"Father, I'm recording, I'm not playing."

Calm, transparent pond...
ducklings learn to swim!
Father duck, watch carefully...!

Every father, patiently
like a mother similarly
of his children is a teacher

Happy Father's Day

To the man who stood so tall,
Who picked me up with every fall.
In life’s loud storm or silent pain,
You stood like shelter in the rain.

When nights were long, and hopes ran low,
You still believed and let it show.
You taught me how to fight, to stand,
To build my dreams with steady hand.

Behind your silence was endless care,
A love so deep, always there.
You gave up joys, ignored your need,
To see us smile, to help us succeed.

You worked in pain, you hid your fear,
And never let it interfere.
Each drop of sweat, each sleepless night,
You faced it all without respite.

You never asked for much or more,
Still gave us all you had in store.
You are the reason we can shine,
Your sacrifices shaped this life of mine.

Today I say what I feel each day,
But don’t always find the words to say:
You are my first love, my forever pride,
The one who’s always by my side.

I love you more than I can show,
More than you’ll ever truly know.
In every win, in every part,
You live within my grateful heart.

So here’s my soul, poured out today,
To thank you, Dad, in every way.
I pray for you in each life’s test,
May God grant you peace, love, and rest.

Man of steel.
Don’t you know?
The real deal!

He’ll never go.
And always stay.
His help bestow.

Need not dismay.
Dauntless, he will
noble heroics display!

A promise to my dad

Feeling Secured
when I feel you around
Feeling healed
with your blessings abound
Feeling dolesome
while seeing your empty cot
Feeling wholesome
for the grace we have got

Happiness, sadness, madness and what not
Feelings for you will always remain
As your memories whirl forever in our mind

Thinking of you
Every now and then
Thinking like you
While confronting blues
Writing for you
As you like my scribblings
Writing about you
As I found solace in those writings

When I couldn't share my happiness with you
When I couldn't share what it feels like
All I do is write about it
And I know you will read it and beam

When I don't grab right words to vent my thoughts
Whenever I experience writer's block
I close my eyes and think about you
Like a saviour you arrive and trapped words you unlock

Your never ending love for writing and reading
Like the perfume
unfurled from our garden flowers... it's spreading
Now, I promise you that I will read
and keep on writing
through all the changing scenes of my life
As I could feel your aura beside me whenever I sit to write
That way, I will be with you always

Sun rays slide across your face
Inviting silhouette artistic shades of love
Needling fingers plats a braid
Girl dad doing her hair not a fad
Little rituals she enjoys
Emerald ribbons matching joy

Doing all tasks of mom
And those of a daddy
Definitely a hero to your kids

The hole

The hole
The hole I feel every year
Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
Celebration for your off spring
The hole that no one can take
Each year the hole grows
I want to call you up on the phone
Tell you about all the things
You believe I would never do
After all I was created by you!
Each yeah the hole grows
As I watch marriages grow
Knowing you will never give me away,
Oh wait, you did already, for your personal gain
Alcohol, laughs and even jokes
While your daughter had to encounter the strokes.
Not the way I dream of to be given to a man at just 9 years old.
Each year the hole grows
Wanting to be seen and heard
And be told I’m so proud of you
Only to be nothing more than the dirt on your shoes
Instead your voices play over within my head
“You will amount to nothing”
“You tell and I find out, I’ll make it so you can’t speak”
The hole that grows
And the pain that seeps
With every mother and father love story
I just want to rip off my ears
The hole grows
Each day, sucking the life away
While I wonder on earth as a stray
Unwanted and disregarded
Forever parted
The hole grows

Virtues

The only fear of leaving that day was the family I left behind
When I described you to the angels, I think of the colors of beautiful rose petals and the virtues that lie within.

I couldn’t choose just one color, So I found one very beautiful, one so very unique, so, I chose this color to send to you, for it makes yours virtues complete

The red is for all the love that our family could hold within

The green rose, a symbol of abundance, peace, and stability

The white rose, defined by it’s reverence, and everlasting love

The cream colored rose, a representation of perfection and richness.

I chose this Teal Colored rose with petals undefined , the angels spoke to me softly and said I should make it mine
The virtues of the roses, that all my family holds
Now live within the petals of this beautiful Teal colored rose

Things Are Not the Same - Father's Day Wishes

Things are not the same
People are out of my frame
Nothing is the same without you
Still, No one is to blame, I feel so...

Time will heal everything,
They say so;
Still we feel like nothing,
Without you

Your memories, like catalyst,
make us smile
and expunge woes, at least
for a while

Like a spritual mentor,
your virtuous words,
guide us through
help confront the world

Being filled with your
sweet memories,
Vanity inside me
becomes bountiful

Doing the tasks
from your bucket list,
The gist of my life, I get
For the rest of my life, I'll never quit

It's been 3years since
You passed away
But memories of you
 never fade away

Yes, things are not the same,
People are not in my frame,
But, our love for you,
remains the same

And now I am here to wish you
"Happy Father's day"
I know you hear me, though
 you are far away

Premium MemberA Fathers Immortality

Upon waking up this day, a single tear
Father your eternal immortality
Still proves wise and gracious
I haven’t been misled by popular opinion
Which should be taken with a grain of salt
You showed me how to expose the counterfeits
who foster misperceptions,
Which have shaped our faith
How to think with an open mind, heart, and soul
Father, your every word was a rare gift
A worth guide__
A teardrop of glad remembrance and a
Prayer for your soul

Alone

Alone in this world
Alone in this society
Alone in love
Alone in life
Alone in fatherhood
Alone in my time of need
Nobody to help me
Nobody to care about what I need
Nobody to care about my feelings
I keep going for me
I keep pushing forward for me
Nobody to turn to
Nobody to call
Silence isn't always a virtue
Solitude has a maximum capacity
The most alone a person can be
"The silence is deafening"
A person must learn to be ok with being alone in life
We all go through the darkness alone at one time or another
Be your own light!
Stand tall and don't stop!

For My Father

At six months old dada were the first words
to ever leave my mouth
His name in Hebrew is "son of my right hand"
He is the Boaz to my mother
and the Abraham to my sister and I

He sacrificed his need for higher education
and passed on the torch to me instead
He is both a phenomenal writer
and nature enthusiast just as I am

He missed an opportunity for my mother
to bear him a son from the seed of her womb
but I am positive that if I would bare a male child
He will form an indestructible bond
and cherish him as the son he never had

My father could've been deceased or disowned me
like those of many of my friends and acquaintances
but today he is alive with his soul
filled with health and joy
and always remain faithful to his family
like the lion of his jungle

Although his own father is resting at the gates of heaven
he will always have us
and his spiritual Father on the throne
watching over him day in and day out

One

There was only one,
worm in the can.
He was all alone
but knew his fate
was sealed.

Born and bred to catch fish.
Alive for a reason,
and a purpose.
Fate, to dance at the end of a line,
and end his time
on this earth.
How?
As breakfast, lunch,
or even dinner.
Sadly too small for any
of the above,
more than likely just
a snack.

Fate is fickle
the man drops the can.
The worm has been given
a reprieve.
Wiggle and giggle,
he moves toward freedom,
and a chance
at living another day.

The fisherman cheated
out of his catch,
by an accident.
The worm,
happy to have been
given one final opportunity,
out of a thousand...
and joyous at his success
in the end.
