Angela Will Visit On Fathers Day

Our oldest daughter will be here on Sunday, Father’s Day.
I will fix something tasty.
She will give Daddy a present and a card.
It will have all kinds of hand-written compliments in it.
Best Daddy in the universe, my hero, that kind of stuff.
He will take his food into his office to eat.
A refrigerator room.
He keeps it on freeze in there.
It had three windows.
Now it has central air and three window air conditioning units.
I know it cannot be over thirty degrees in there.
Baby will probably follow Daddy in and try to talk to him for a bit.
I will set the timer to eight minutes.
Carry her stiff body out.
She will be as hard as a cardboard cutout.
We will spend the rest of the day visiting while she thaws.

Oh my. Why does Joe like it so cold? Perhaps that's how he insures his privacy? I don't know. I couldn't stand it. I keep my house at 75 all the time, period. I own a thermostat now, you know. For many years the thermostat belonged to Deb. A counselor reminded me that I now own it, as well as the house. I'd rather have Deb back.

I know you would. Happy Fathers Day Hank. He LOVES it COLD as ICE and so does BUDDY. Sophie and I are not fans. We go outside and sit in the sun to warm up.
