Inspired by the fact that Stevie Wonder is a blind musician, yet has never been impeded by his disability to achieve, here am I… persisting to do my best to help my special child attain triumphant milestones.
Ascending amidst impossibility's attacking angst
Bravery blossoms, boasting of blessings
Cleaving to commitment with clarity
Defying despair, disability-distress…
Endeavoring with exhorting excitement exuberantly
Faith toward fruition freely fuels fulfillment for
God guards and guides by His grace…
Hoisting with hope, healing heralds healthiness
Inspiring against infirmities toward what's impossible* to impart impactful
Joy so jubilant to fulfill tasks in life’s journey despite jeering jury…
Kindled with kindness...
Loving my special child toward his liberation
Maximized by milestones, magnify mercy with miracles...
Not and never impossible through the Lord Who nourishes and nurtures.
*Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

The women sing songs to the moon,
Praising its beauty.
They dance and sing when it’s in its full glow,
Their souls ascending and descending,
Transformed into priestesses.
The men venture into the forest at twilight every fortnight.
There, an unveiling and a revealing take place.
The spirits commune with them in the tranquil ambience,
Warning them about any impending danger,
Sharing mysteries that are soon to enter their territory.
The men become gifted watchmen.
Something astonishing happens with the sun.
At midday, it beams its rays on a vast meadow,
Where the plants are exuberantly green.
These are called the Blessed Bloom,
An elixir of vitality and rejuvenation.
The atmosphere is clean and fresh.
There is no conflict between humans and machines,
No exploitation of nature,
No encroaching on her space.
The leash has not taken the lead.
I asked to know where I am,
And I met a stranger who looked familiar.
He said I’m in an unsoiled place,
An unaltered place,
An alternate universe.

Spring Ritual
Stark
naked
feminists
join hands and dance
exuberantly
on a verdant hilltop
leaping round about in step
beneath an enlightened blue sky
to commemorate Spring’s arrival
and the emancipation of women.

No greater gift do I have than me.
To give all that I be, weakness and steel,
Handed unafraid, exuberantly tossed,
Into union where none became one.
~~
Innocence dares not question
The mating, as fear slinks away, premonitions abound.
Requited concubine hybrid, happiness,
Relishes its renewed tug-o-war with joy.
~~
To the birth. Beyond life.
Gossamer emotions cancel idiot notions
Categorizing songs as just notations,
Crimson rosebuds as just flora.
~~
Unscheduled, my realm shatters it’s cocoon.
Aromas from nascent recipes
Tease ravishing appetites that crave a tasting
Of essences sneering at mere existence.
~~
Forming a queue, foaming at the prospect,
Of satiating hungers awakening from
Pre-eternal shackled hibernations.
And at first bite…
~~
The soul’s pre-natal starvation
Is erased by eucharistic intimacy
Of the infant us.
“Mornin’, Eve…”

Our Garden
In my mind’s eye,
I see you still,
Standing still in our garden,
Motionless,
Deep in thought.
So what were you thinking?
The seeds we planted together,
Grew strong,
We tended them,
Fed and watered them,
Gave them shelter and support.
We watched anxiously.
Now they are strong, gloriously confident,
They no longer need our tender loving care.
The scarlet poppies, petals as fragile as crepe paper,
Grow miraculously strong on delicate stems.
The marigolds, like a cluster of brilliant suns,
Know their power.
The trailing lobelias explore exuberantly
And will not be contained.
The seed of our love we also planted together,
Tended with the same loving care and understanding,
And at first a willingness to forgive.
But in time, as it grew, it too needed protection,
From sudden tempests, sudden frosts,
And tears that felt like rain.
Desperately we provided support and protection,
But it was never enough.
The seed which at first had grown so joyfully,
Now withered
And died.

Oh, since I was only a braided, wee bit of a thing,
Pizza was even better, than owning a diamond ring.
It was a taste of Italian camaraderie, also!
We were joyful, there was no time for pretentious snoberry.
I do confess to you I could eat Italian cuisine this very day.
Sausage, provolne, garlic, are delicious alchemies any day!
Add a spellbinding, multicolored, melting candle .
The romantic scent of it was more than Ican handle.
For centuries, this delicious food, in my life, leaves me
exuberantly excited.
I can even dream of this dish made by angels heavenly.
And to think I am still eating it, way past age…seventy.

That-to-that; hither then thither…
Here I am with my special child
exuberantly racing as one
around love’s bonding moments
driving pencils, propelled by hope
zooming upward, sliding downward
toward flight destination~~~
Dot-to-dot… one-two-three…
Here we are as mentor-student
bursting midst glee for correct lines
checking that connections make sense
against erasures for crooked marks
midst claps and high-five gestures
since milestone is reached freely
conquering spastic strains~~~
Up-and-down… down-and-up…
Here is our masterpiece together
after mirth-filled dot-to-dot pursuit!
Surpassing number-identification
my son exercises coloring skill
revealing artistic creation
of mom propelling son
along swing delight---
Then in sign language
he praises* God
and thanks me
with sweet hug.
*Psalm 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

As waves of sea water wash over me
On the white sand beach of Panama City,
I am carried away by the sound of the sea
As waves of sea water wash over me
I can even ignore the annoying sand flea
Nothing makes me so exuberantly happy
As waves of sea water wash over me
On the white sand beach of Panama City.

come on, open that door to face
what did you leave in the antechamber of your happiness
(I'm talking about the sad, chained lions roaring their nightmares
of the bloodthirsty watering that produced the fruits of illusion
of the black nights that drowned out the desperate cries
of those who didn't care to be exuberantly happy
while his brothers were swallowed by the murderous maw
of those who gorge themselves on the flesh of the innocent)
all these spilled cups for your disguised smile
that inflates and explodes in the egocentrism of an infinite space
(I'm talking about these empty tributes we pay
to the sadists who torture us with their inhumane successes
while we crawl on the slime ground of the defeated).

The flowers blossoming exuberantly,
The green foliage gleaming radiantly,
The forgotten seeds sprout with vigour,
Butterflies dance in circles,
The glory of spring.

Bustling old fella dashing biddly bop by dressed to the nines
with briefcase stuffed under his arm equipped with fixed maniacal grin jabbering to himself while confirming his expressions
to an equally jazzed and jaunty westie he calls Ralph trailing exuberantly behind
let's me know that there are actually still some living beings out there
to learn from

Fizzing with excitement
Teaming with fruity flavor
Zesty and delightful
My color is beyond compare
I am a painter, and cannot imagine
Any painting without it.
She colors lilies and dragons,
leaves, and wild women’s hair
I lavish her upon a canvas with finesse
She does not hold back, and neither do I
We are exuberantly delightful.
We splash ourselves into life,
loving what comes
We are zealous zealots
Making no apologies for our actions
Not as blatant as stop signs or fire trucks
A near relative but sunnier
We need no glitter or sparkle
Our joy comes out in soul force
into the meadows in the form of tiger lilies
We are confidence, we are hope, we are delight
Beaks and legs of ducks are beholden to us
Harvest moon would be dour without us
We are glamour and excitement
We are enthusiastically and unapologetically ourselves.

Going about our lives with giving hearts
Inspired forever by His unfailing love
Very eager to follow His perfect example
Incomplete and so forlorn without Him
Naturally desirous to spread good news
Giving and accepting the gift of prayer
Generous always with love and devotion
Obedience to the dear Lord in all things
Doubtlessly directing all our footsteps
Letting forgiveness prevail in our hearts
Yielding to peaceableness at all times
Gladly sharing with many His holy word
Revelling in eternal joy of knowing Him
All abuzz about His everlasting goodness
Communing with other people in His house
Exuberantly praising Him and worshipping

You can't let yourselves be judged by what others have to say
You have been gifted with another brilliantly optimistic day.
You know there is still a chance for improvement
Your resolute stand can never be bent
As far as you know your conscience is right
World can't point a finger at you in its hindsight.
You should not yearn for 'that someone' to grant you a second chance
Remember if your purpose was not immoral, over your head angels will still dance
Don't allow the blatant blabbering band of bumbling baboons to break you
In every adverse situation bring out something exuberantly new
Take the time to fill your cup
Witnessing life in all its beauty can certainly be tough
But trust me it's far from bluff
Find delight in the fight and shrug off the blight making your burdens light
Appreciate your essence. Don't mix with every blend.
Don't allow the trials and tribulations to shatter you.
Pick your battles and your willpower will carry you through.
If you run your own race,
I guarantee you-
You will leave behind an indelible trace!!

Hidden in the recesses of the shipwrecked tree
Unseen by those who believe not in elementals
A world was furiously happening on the sly
I pretended to not hear, coaxing them with my ignorance
Being born with dog ears, I heard the elves laughter
They work harder and more exuberantly than brownies.
Had they felled this tree? Or had it been downed by pixies?
I heard their tittering laughs and they are the fierce ones.
What are you doing? My companion asked me.
She would not notice an elemental if it sat on her nose.
I resolved to come back later, alone.
I could tell they were in the throes of getting ready for a feast.
Luckily, this shipwrecked tree had the distinction
Of being a marvelously beautiful bit of nature
Something you do not see more than once a lifetime
No wonder she had been claimed by the fey.
