Best Exuberantly Poems
Oh my dearest love, how longingly I recall
Amorous wink of joy, teasing zealous eyes
When you held my hand on journey of life
And never let go despite the arduous climb.
Happily you greeted what justly we toiled for,
In view of gratitude plentiful it always was.
Staying true to hallmark of your own resolve
You didn't falter when fate made bad calls.
Exuberantly you reveled in garden of roses
In purple orchids and fragrance of Jasmine
Beneath cosmic infinity wooing your fantasy,
As resolutely you held on to truth of reality.
We traveled far eying cultural renaissance
In Sistine Chapel and the Statue of David
As museums found you mesmerized by art
And paintings in Uffizi held you spellbound.
In your honor, I'll memorialize solemn oath
Lovingly etched in the temple of our hearts
Saying in your voice, there are no goodbyes
When love shall endure till the end of time.

Verse
Beware the morning tiger
Before his first coffee
Look out for the afternoon lizard:
Ectotherm on the sidewalk soaking in other people’s acknowledgement
On occasion I’m a hummingbird
Seeking life’s nectar while shying away from human contact
Sometimes I’m a dolphin
Smiling and dancing in the waves
Last week I felt like a beaver
Getupgotoworkdomyworkgotobedgetupgotoworkdomyworkgotobed
(do beavers even have beds?)
Whatever happened to the puppy
Who would romp exuberantly through the day
Eventually collapsing in utterly exhausted joy?
Be wary of the electric eel
Who will zap you if you get too close
Look at the proudly preening peacock
Hoping somebody will notice me
Occasionally I’m a jackrabbit
Always on my guard, ready to run away from conflict
At times I’m a giraffe
Able to rise above the dust of the day
This week I was a worker bee putting in a day’s work
Happy to let the Queen be in charge
Whatever else I may be, I feel like a White Rhino
Older, wiser, stronger, endangered
My spirit animal is a zoo
…or a puppy

In the days of mystic Merlin and captivating Celtic lore
The Ancient Druids danced and exuberantly did explore
The Celtic Circles of cityscapes and festive furthermore
They gathered ritually round their sacred scenic stones
Like super Stonehenge sites of zodiacal zenithal zones
Within the Galic gates of the great universal unknowns
Celebrating the Summer Solstice of Natures living law
Through cosmic energy the Druid Duir of ancient awe
Of Celtic clans with sapiential symbols of a Shangri-La
The Celtic Cross still remains within our scintillant sight
Tuatha De Danann tribes of the gods of ritualistic rite
Their stories and teachings amalgamate in a Wizards night.

Pretty pink pansies soothe searing souls; seek them; take walks.
Offerings of friendship to another can distract depressive thoughts; open your heart.
Evoking visions of amusing moments, absorb melancholy; envision funny times.
Talk about something else, like tantalizing taste buds, instead of tumbling into misery.
Depression debilitates, destroys, discourages, and devours; design a pleasure plan.
Escape the misery; elevate merriment with music; sing and dance.
Serenity takes practice; so get started; find a serene spot in a garden; watch for sparkles.
Take time to pamper yourself; go to the spa or read a good book; relish positives.
Relax at home or sit in a mall and watch the world go by; DO NOT SHOP!
Overspending can lead to deeper depression; develop internal joys one thought at a time.
Yesterday is gone. So, forget about it. Today is a new day; make a fresh start.
Everything has a time and a season; trusting in God can help with anticipation anxiety.
Remember to grow and learn from every life experience both positive and negative.
After all, we are privileged to be on Earth where we can learn and grow, each day.
Never give up on yourself, no matter what; forgive yourself for mistakes; stay strong.
Determine to succeed at gladness; replace sad thoughts with happy ones…intentionally.
Demons can creep into one’s life; be sure to replace them with Heavenly hosts;
Enrich your soul with scripture study and silent prayers; find fellowship.
“Pretty is as pretty does,” was a common saying back in the day; see your prettiness.
Remember that raindrops refresh all living things; let some fall on your face.
Exuberantly laugh as the wetness drips onto your tongue; breathe deeply, slowly.
Sunshine follows the rain both in nature and in life. Remember, depression will pass.
Seek your own path; one that holds your happiness, stay on that path, strongly.
Individual self-worth is a way of thinking; pick positive worthy people for friends.
Overcome depression one day at a time, one thought at a time, effervescently.
Now is the time to embark on your happy future, feel better soon…lovingly.

Snowing tonight ~ whispering, luminescent, dazzling,
Air misty, heavy ~ wind calm, serene,
Sights outside blurred, indistinct through the hazy window glasses,
Rooftops getting blanketed with white laces ~
A picturesque winter wonderland,
Treetops embellished with silver ornaments,
grasses caressed by soft touches of snow,
My heart is with you,
Craving for the profound tenderness of your company ~
If only you knew.
At the first demure light of dawn, open my eyes,
It's only you I think of.
In between numerous mundane chores,
Multitude of unavoidable responsibilities,
Hours of running meaningless errands,
I ponder about you.
At the end of an arduous day, before retiring to bed,
who fills my heart with magical dreams?
You ~ and the twinkle of your eyes ~
If only you knew!
So far away, exuberantly exploring unfamiliar countries,
You are immersed, building a meaningfully bright future,
Surrounded by charming delightful folks,
Sometimes a mysterious dream may wake you up at midnight,
You wonder why!
I write and write, pour my deepest thoughts,
My innermost hopes and desires, pains and agony,
Spend sleepless nights until my eyelids droop in slumber ~
If only you knew!

Lyric
Vanished is the sun that had peeked so exuberantly
around the clouds! Our new beach chair that broke sits taunting me.
The castle that our children built (and then declared it grand)
lies unrecognizable, a washout on wet sand.
One tire of our dune buggy is deflated, and I hold
inside my hand a too-warm Coke that once was icy cold.

Some pretty brown birds nesting on a tree
Prank frequently at my other room balcony
Apparently, they were once the main culprits
Of messing it up, bringing a variety of leaves and twigs
They also build thin nests behind my air conditioner
When an egg drops, they may reckon I’m aborting their daughter
One day, I wondered what had sprouted on the floor
At a grimy nook, not quite far from my door
When I looked closely, I was so skeptical
It was a great masterpiece of these clever winged pals
I was so certain that it was not a moss or a grass
But a vine bearing flowers with pretty purple petals
After a week, it revealed exuberantly itself
A lush vine of string beans, I didn’t sow by myself
Was it dropped by those birds or sowed by an invisible elf?
Oh, if it has grown taller than my room, I must have cried for help!
As it crawled and climbed up to the balcony wall
In fascination, I deigned not to ask questions anymore
It climbed up freely to a wall’s faucet as its sturdy trellis
And feasts proudly, spreading its huge and verdant leaves
In tandem was the bearing of its long string bean fruits
Heavily laden, their numbers had no hints – that was a bird’s hoot
I harvested thrice while my smiles were all in glints
And had a delicious vegie salad twice from my lovely magic bean
My last harvest was meant for the next crops
I took all beans from the fruits just for drying up
The brilliant brown birds will no longer need to drop
New seedlings from their magic beans are now growing in pots
I thanked those kind creatures for the magic beans they’ve given
Growing them in my concrete room balcony was like a dream
It wasn’t a fairytale at all, I’ve already given myself a pinch
And my balcony even magically turned into a mini vegie garden

Narrative
I took many roles
In my own life’s drama
And with every person I met
I had been a mentor
And a tormentor at once
Even a victim and a culprit too.
If I cried it was because my role requires it
If I am injured it was because
The role I took requires it and so on.
If I ruined the life of someone
In one of the life’s dramas, I didn’t have regrets
Because the role I took requires it.
If I consider the role of a mad man
I shall not hesitate to take it if that role
Requires the thrill in anyone's life drama.
If the drama I chose to take
Is never ending I don’t have any regret
Because the drama requires it
Every role I took we agreed
On how to perform the scenes
In which the drama requires.
If death is required in taking
A role in anyone life’s drama
I shall exuberantly consider it.
Reality sometimes is not acceptable
Create doubts and fears
Life is a drama and life is a choice.

Perfect Day to Journey
It was a perfect day for our faculty and staff trip. The sun exuberantly shone brightly in vibrant bliss allowing everyone to whistle stop at different places on our way ‘til we’d finally reached our main destination, Satun province south of Thailand, a very enticing sanctuary of animals and birds and a place catering a lot of sterling tourists’ attractions.
what a great joy felt
captured on one’s big smile
beauty of mountains and caves
feast of blinking eyes
Everyone gathered an effort to climb a high mountain to explore its hidden magnificent cave inside and we, like file of ants ascended excitedly up the wooden stairs in search of treasures to keep forever at all seasons in mind and in our hearts. After climbing down, we strolled at the forest where streams dandy flows of crystals raced like unicorns heading off to their thrones somewhere beyond.
joyful hops on streams
rocks joggle and toss me up
waterflows and whistle of breeze
duo, music to dance

Abecedarian
In the void, sipping the zoid,
with mental properties of tripping on the spiral.
Falling down the tail of lions, awkwardly spinning.
With upside down tunnel vision leaking through.
Solidifying all matter that matters,
melting into the walls of your brain.
It tickles all the raindrops dripping in your eyes,
satisfying your desire of a synchronized pattern.
Bleeding purple from the rainbow,
and turning into swirls of diamonds.
Slipping exuberantly beside you; driving you wild.
Where the shadows stop the spirited scream.
Devour yourself into the omniscient grip.
Icy cold finger tips scratch the surface of your divinity,
bringing you closer to the God who whispered in your unborn ear,
situated in your flesh from birth to death.
It embeds itself in the pupil of your eye,
dancing with your spirit and licking your soul.
Black shapes of madness wrapped in chaos and euphoria.
Twinkling and blinking dust of a cloud.
Haze filled skies and blood filled smoke raining from the clouds.
Envisions of clowns and demons laughing at our demise.
Chilling sensations of sickening mannerisms,
mechanisms and mechanics sought out to destroy the tiny creatures.
These creatures running crazy into acceptance of demise.
Deprived of life, scared of death but giving into it's taste.
Taste buds quiver as the taste grows sweeter.
Death, oh death, tell everyone who you really are...
Too long have you been hidden in the shadows you cast,
too long have we rendered your pain.
The world grows sicker as the hairs in my head grey.
I'll never surrender as demons always circle.
Today, begins a new day of our fight.
And I have a good feeling about this day.
Onward, we have united our minds and gathered ourselves within.
Always ready for we accept our fear.
We accept our hate and everything in between.
Accept it all for what it really is.
No amount of doubts will over throw us.
Onward, to peace.

encountered last Spring...exuberantly too far,
hiking deep in a Minnesota forest-bog, almost
dreamlike... Mosquito clouds engulfed me
...james
Silent zeroes flood my reflex memory
Mosquito clouds so thick to breathe
Meant inhaling dozens
Smiles and scorns at Springs first leap
Of freedom deep in a hidden forest bog
Bouncing leaps of retreat
Time froze
I glanced across a frozen universe
Scars finely creased with age
Memories still fresh
'Ancient Boulders' it is said in stories
Still vibrate with sacred chants
Audible to the chosen ones
Ears worthy of silence
Ears worthy

Love blows in like a warm zephyr
melting away reality.
And arousing dormant desires
that erupt like molten lava.
Dying embers flare into flames
that linger in private places.
And you experience feelings
surpassing infatuation.
Love's such an extraordinary
sensation; you can't help but smile.
For it makes you feel euphoric;
and unbelievably happy.
Love's like a rainbow of color
you exuberantly pursue.
For hope keeps fantasies alive;
on the off chance, they may come true.
Your heart fills with exaltation;
when you first start falling in love.
And anticipation leaves you
feeling breathless, yet wanting more.

Blank verse
Going about our lives with giving hearts
Inspired forever by His unfailing love
Very eager to follow His perfect example
Incomplete and so forlorn without Him
Naturally desirous to spread good news
Giving and accepting the gift of prayer
Generous always with love and devotion
Obedience to the dear Lord in all things
Doubtlessly directing all our footsteps
Letting forgiveness prevail in our hearts
Yielding to peaceableness at all times
Gladly sharing with many His holy word
Revelling in eternal joy of knowing Him
All abuzz about His everlasting goodness
Communing with other people in His house
Exuberantly praising Him and worshipping

My husband and I, we are not the jealous sort.
But once in a while a green-eyed monster peeks in.
He comes lurking about to diminish our joy.
Not enough to destroy, but too often to toy.
Hubby is a skillful photo-shop-artist with vast finesse.
I on the other hand paint and make a big mess.
My Photoshop doodles seek childhood; I regress.
Thought strikes my imagination; I exuberantly express.
We encourage one another; and strive to excel.
Stroking our egos with gentle words, we share well.
Two souls snuggled in oaks; each repairing from pains.
Lacking outside attention and financial gains.
So, when someone drops by, we each want to brag.
One look at his work might as well be my gag.
Magnificent landscapes defy poetic words.
When the green-eyed monster leaps in, it’s absurd.
How does it happen; why does pride go awry?
Why does my heart start churning; my soul loose its wits?
My sweet perspectives on joys then, no longer fits.
It’s that Green-eyed Monster…that’s why!
First I’m ignored as he with words outwits.
Inside myself my soul becomes pricked.
I withdraw in silence as one might predict.
The green-eyed monster wins this blitz!
The problem is that when jealousy stokes.
Depression chokes any desire to try.
The, works unpicked make one want to cry –
I HATE that Green-eyed Monster!
