Panama City Beach

As waves of sea water wash over me On the white sand beach of Panama City, I am carried away by the sound of the sea As waves of sea water wash over me I can even ignore the annoying sand flea Nothing makes me so exuberantly happy As waves of sea water wash over me On the white sand beach of Panama City.

Milt, not only with this form but also with a great many others, you perform exceptionally well. It truly does sound lovely, and the reader can realize a sense of the deep affection that you have for Panama City through the metaphors that you've used. I fully appreciate your valuable comment on my poem "dewdrops draw bows."

Maybe you could do a book of just your triolet poetry. You do very well with this form, as well as so many others, Milt.

Aw, thanks, Andrea. I'm working on a collection right now, but the going is slow. I've been too preoccupied with medical crap this summer to get much done on it. But, I do thank you for the compliment.

You paint a stunning image of a white sandy beech with the sound of the waves lapping at your feet. There's something magical about the sea, I can see why many men are lured to it and become sailors. Tom

Thank you so much, Tom. My father was a sailor, and I have always had a fond attraction to the ocean and beaches.
