Greenland's American future

Greenland’s American future

In Nuuk everybody lives in festive houses made of wood, green, blue and red looks homily in the winter landscape
Thei are the people who speaks English, building
A dry dock for submarines, that will protect the sea from intruders, like the Russians and big code fish. The Greenlander will live in nice apartments
That have lifts, naturally the have to pay rent
There will be more shops selling imported food
Soft bread and, of course hamburgers for all
There will be bars with dancing girls included
The local can get drunk and been thrown into the snow
Some locals will lose their apartment leave in the street with dogs and the hapless will be wrapped in blanket given by the Danes, American tourist will come looking at the filthy streets and feel at home
The transformation will be complete, the local language forgotten, spoken only by the very old Innuits, naturally no one speaks Danish anymore
Except for the local doctor a despicable socialist
This is the future for people who become victim of super power, who believes in their exceptionalism

AGAINST all odds,
By God's mercy and grace,
Here I now stand.

MALIGNED, demonized,
and criticized,
But here I stand.

EXCEPTIONALISM has weakened;
My moral leadership has waned,
But here I stand.

RIGHTEOUSNESS holds my hands,
And God's mercy embraces me;
So here I stand.

IMPERFECT and flawed,
but here I stand.

Christ is exalted in spite of
my adversities. Yet I stand.

ASSURANCE remains through faith
in God; and here, I forever stand.

Premium MemberShe's Crying 2

My country's tears are falling like rain.
She is hurting, and great is her pain.

Deep in the portals of her heart,
Desperately, she is crying.

She is going BLIND
And has listened to lying.

She is losing her ability to HEAR,
And is filled with fear.

She has lost so much,
Even her sense of TOUCH.

Her halls of academia and governance
Are becoming meaningless and senseless.

Her TASTE buds for exceptionalism are dying.
Her FRAGRANCE of inspiration is fading,

And her influence is slowly waning.
Yes, she is crying,

But too few even care
And from afar, they stare.

Millions have eaten at her table,
But presently, too few adorn her label.

Please, do my country the greatest favor today.
Hold her, squeeze her tight, and cease not to pray.

Soothing and serene like a sacred song

Energizing me like no other season can

Pausing my pace that I may endure the race

Taming and teaching me about the power of change

Exceptionalism, I believe, was conceived in September

Month number nine, number ten, and one nine four nine

Balance in life requires a 'time-out bridge' like September

Emptiness and lack of fulfillment require a touch of September

Relax from the toils of Summer; watch the leaves fall from the trees

Premium MemberTrue Grace

True Grace specifies no special face to extend God's Grace.

Religion at its finest could never define the True God of the Bible.

Understanding and loving God demand that we do likewise with others.

Ecclesiastical organizations are great assets for reliving human suffering.

Giving His only begotten son was God's greatest example of loving humanity.

Reliance and resting in the reality that enables us to give our lives in service

Activate True Grace, and we set an example of Relational Christianity.

Religion is both God-centered and taking care of orphans and widows.*

Exceptionalism should be a trait of Christians that is given as seasoning.

Free verse/ Lyric
Places of mediocrity
Levels of ordinary,
Commonness
Seems easy to resist
Its exceptionalism
I am exceptional
Not limited by statistics
Not settling for less
Not excepting your perception of me
Try putting me in a box
I’m coming out
Like Diana Ross
Like a class at recess
I’ll be running for the door
I’m coming to make money
And a better life
So be it
I am your fight
I’m bout that living
While reminiscing,
And planning to be seen different…

Each species has its tools
to do what it can to ensure
its own survival.
We, try our best to
separate,
and say we are not
the same.
We pick a trait to denote
our exclusivity.
Other species prove
their relativity.

Once it was tools
and to our chagrin
we found they all
were using them
and so we redrew
the line.

Language is what
we are good at
until we found
that dog and cats,
parrots and dolphins,
chimps and all manner
of beasties with tales
or not had their own
tales to tell.

What's left for us
to claim as our
special trait?
I vote for
self delusion.
It seems to us
unique.

We murder and convince ourselves
it is for peace.
We raise boys to be killers and then
pretend surprise
when they are.
We foster hate among each other
and pretend
it is not really happening.
We enslave each other
and claim
to believe in freedom.
We pretend concern for
all mankind,
yet make sure that
few succeed.

Yes, I think in all these things,
the animal, we far exceed
