Premium Member Miss Right, Mr Right, and the library

She's looking for Mr. Right,
While he's looking for Miss Right.
Both of them seeking for 'The One'.
She lives on the western side,
While he stays on the east side --
They don't cross paths under the Sun.
She goes to church on Sundays,
Does good works and sings and prays
"Dear Lord, please help me find the One".
He's in a congregation, the same denomination,
That meets on the other side of town.
So she decided to look
For some kind of 'self help' book -
She did not want to spend any money.
Reading was his best hobby,
And they met inside the lobby
Of the local town library.
They both walked to the section
Of books on self-direction,
And both reached for the same book.
"Go ahead and take it." He said.
"No, but you were here first" she said.
"Why don't we read it together?".
A conversation started -
Since then they never parted -
Mr. and Mrs. Right forever.
If you'd be someone's Mr. Right,
Try to be your very best you.
And if you'd be someone's Miss Right,
The same advice goes for you.
Get an education to be interesting,
Develop a warm personality.
Exercise, eat less, be appealing.
Involve the LORD and visit the library.

I didn’t choose to be this way.
I didn’t make myself this way.
I don’t know when it moved in, making me the enemy.
Now fighting tooth and nail for the body I once had.
Now wishing I saw a different body in the mirror.

You can do it, it’s not hard, they say.
Just eat less, they say, but now less is too less.
Yet every ounce clings to me, no matter the rations.

This is what’s born from a home of unhealthy obsessions.

Premium Member I don't Understand

First thing I remember, was asking papa "Why?"
For there were many things I didn't know
And Daddy always smiled, took me by the hand
Saying, "Someday you'll understand"

Well, I'm here to tell you now, each and every mother's son
You'd better learn it fast, you'd better learn it young
'Cause someday never comes
Some Day Never Comes by CCR

I don't Understand

Some day I will exercise more
Some day I will eat less
Some day I will listen to more music
Some day I will practice playing music
Some day I will watch less television
Some day I will get back to riding bicycle
Some day I will understand
But some day never comes

Premium Member Desirable Truth

The old facts lie, the old truth dies
Everything needs update
The new facts open our eyes
Revisionism is great
New lemming-minded must observe
This harsh reality
The world we thouroughly deserve
Our ancestors couldn’t see
So after cleaning it looks fine
This good old brave new world
Its pharisees and philistines
Its glorified absurd
What’s new, looks old, and in reverse
Its all the same, my dear
The truth enacts with inner source
Of deepest secret fear
In order to avoid the bad
Consequences we see
We drink more wine, and eat less bread
Watching the tides at sea.

         they are not of life.

there are the names in this hollow circle

                years of injustice

they shall eat the fruit thereof

                                                                            wormwood shall fill you
eat less than you desire

     and more than you deserve

Let's weigh in on all the people out there trying to lose weight
The makeup of our bodies we have had a long time to create
If it is easy to shed those unwanted pounds the task would be simple to do
The solution to the problem is always the same eat less, more exercise, a statement that always rings true
We as a society want results immediately, a pill for pain, a burger for your hunger
Losing weight is a long journey, not a one-day wonder
How do you achieve success, look at your job, school , marriage, hard work is what got you there
The rewards for this in weight loss are better health and a body that will thank you without those extra pounds it has to bear
An increase in stamina so you can enjoy life and what it has to offer even more
A whole new world awaits if we stop indulging in those quick weight loss companies who happily take your money than ask for more
Use your hard-earned cash to invest in yourself by joining a gym
You can achieve what you want in life, believe in yourself, and start down the road to being slim and trim

Premium Member Death Is Beautiful

Our body comes prepared for birth and death:
the brain is subconsciously in control.
At birth, we instinctively take a breath
without being slapped: we're born to our role.

Our brain releases endorphins at birth
to ease our passage: dulling birthing pain.
We arrive pre-programmed for planet Earth:
and it's all possible, thanks to our brain.

When we're dying, our brain knows what to do:
we start to drink less, eat less, and sleep more.
Our bodies release endorphins anew:
assuring that our soul is set to soar.

Death is beautiful: if you only knew,
of the exultation that awaits you.

Surprise!
Money is gone.
Bank account is empty.
I think it is a recession.
Eat less.

Each Year a New Beginning

Join the runners at the line,
clean out all those pantry shelves.
Make a promise to spend time,
creating a healthy self.

Throw away all the junk food,
maybe head down to the gym.
Eat less, get more sleep, and walk,
try to make my body slim.

Why not learn a new language,
or how to knit and crochet.
Put away all my pennies,
to save for a rainy day.

Quit smoking and less cussing,
consume no more alcohol.
Adopt a pet, learn to cook,
buy local and not the mall.

Go to church and pray for peace,
try something new every day.
Just relate and meditate,
speak only when there’s something to say.

Be early and never late,
turn away from the TV.
Say the words, “I Love You” more,
to my wife and family.

Spend more time getting outdoors,
enjoying life’s little things.
Try to be more confident,
maybe even learn to sing.

Don’t judge people by their look,
think awhile before I speak.
Look for the good, ignore the bad,
stand up for the lost or weak.

Spend less time on my cell phone,
more time with my family.
Write more words, make some new friends,
be the best that I can be.

Tears and Trial

You will made them cry
And believe to have roseses of bed,
You want them to eat less
And you believe to have dessert.

Never they asked for much,
Just they want is your happiness,
They made there life miserable,
To make your life luxurious.

They never showed there hunger
But made you to eat full of stomach.
The dream you saw they made them true
Even if not able to wear a proper clothes.

But what you gave in return,
You made them childless, homeless all alone
Even after having a beautiful family.

Remember God is there,
For every blunder there is a trial (punishment)
And if there is tear in their eyes be ready to have in your eyes.

Speak no ill of our 3 letter government agencies;
they are always watching out for our rights,
they are working for us.

Don't you know you are just peddling enemy disinformation!
Don't you know you are just repeating
conspiracy theories?
Nothing to see here.

No one is above the law except....
You will be considered an extremist
if you protest, ask no unauthorized questions.
Never cross the line and don't ask what line?

Don't speak about faith in anything but us.
You will be audited,
investigated,
we are sending 87 thousand more
armed revenue agents to your homes
to keep the peace.

Never run for political office unless you agree
with our official position and have been approved.

Everything is good, eat less food. It is patriotic
to want less, expect less.
The Ministry Truth is always watching.
Have a nice day - do what we say.

Too Late

TOO LATE?

The temperature’s rising day-by-day;
We pump too much carbon into the air.
It belches from chimney stacks dark and grey,
Exhaust fumes from travelling here and there.
Herds of cattle emitting foul gasses,
Thinning the ozone to let in more heat.
All bred solely for feeding the masses;
The scientists warm us to eat less meat.
Billions of tons of plastic each day,
Thrown into landfill or into the sea.
Non-biodegradable, it will stay
Polluting the planet for you and me.
Our chance of survival might be better
If our leaders just listen to Greta.
