An old man thought he saw the Easter Bunny
He had a tail, and he hopped a bit funny
He was with his wife Jean
She said- what do you mean?
That's a squirrel that's hopping around, Hunny
The bunny came and hid the eggs
since he’s mammal the question begs
where did they come from?
did he buy lump sum?
wonder what he’d do with frog legs?
What’s with the chicks following him?
maybe they’re there on a wild whim
difference in age?
large, I’d wage
but I am not a judge of them.
Then there is the most obvious question
if Easter Bunny is male, concession,
how could he lay an egg
down his long trouser leg?
I think I need a therapy session.
The Easter bunny’s feeling sick
He ate eight boiled eggs for a trick
And cannot stop fartin
His butt end is smartin
The other bunnies took the mick!
Poor bunny said “It isn’t funny
I’ve got excess gas in my tummy
Eating eggs is a curse
And what’s even worse
My rabbit currants have turned runny”
While Easter bunny had a walk
His bunny pals began to talk
They came up with a plan
And saw hardware store Stan
Who fitted Bunny with a cork
When bunny just nibbled on hay
His flatulence soon went away
Long gone is the smell
And bunny is well
To bring chocolate eggs on Sunday
thanks to a friend who smoothly whispered a prompt to me

supervisor edgar white
following a nasty bite
screamed since some find funny
me mauled by a bunny
all get to work late tonight.
Why was Santa dressed like the Easter bunny, he wanted to run away with his honey. Mrs. Claus had a red nose that was funny, when she took off with the money.

The Easter Butt, the Easter Butt
Put Away Your Booze and Smut
Kiss your Spouse and Hug your Mutt
And Motorboat the Easter Butt.
If you thought killer clowns were fun
Chainsaw Massacre Easter Bunny is right up your plate
If you like Stephen King novels and are not fearful,
You are really going to like CMEB
Come on down, I scream to my neighbor
Don’t be such a chicken.
Get out of that tree!
I died some eggs for Easter to celebrate the season.
How was I to know what would happen when, I’d leave them.
Upon the counter top they sat, drying for awhile.
When I returned, they’d come to life;
giggly, jiggly, wiggly cartoons met my eyes.
They were having a conversation; talking all at once;
Sarcastic egg pointed me out as the one who’d boiled them!
Screaming ensued that brought the neighbors; now...silence.
Easter bunny! My Easter bunny!
See your face, so white and funny.
How do you plan to spend the money?
Chocolate hats all filled with honey!
Easter bunny! My Easter bunny!
You make me feel, so dog gone funny.
Why do you wear such a great big tummy?
After eating so well on Sunday!
Easter bunny! My Easter bunny!
Our Lord he thanks you,
for being so chummy!
Now he wants to be your buddy!

Kiddies take heed
Of this kind hearted deed
By this cute little mouse
That lives in our house
He wears fake ears
That make him appear
Like the Easter Bunny
So cute and so funny
Don't want you to think
Because he's not pink
He can't play the role
This kind hearted soul
He just loves to spread
Good cheer instead
Of eating our cheese
And nuts if you please
Well what do you think
He goes by instinct
But we sure don't mind
'Cause our mousey's so kind
Spreading good will
Giving kiddies a thrill
On Easter morning
Without any warning
Hiding those treasures
Watching with pleasure
The joy it will cause
He don't need applause
Then retreats to his home
That's the end of my poem
Sure hope that you liked it
Much as I did to write it!

FOR EASTER
Humpty Dumpty – From the Chapbook,
A Neighborhood Child. Repost
Humpty Dumpty
You’re a mess!
Fat egg
The moment of your crash a fright!
I’ll never forget
The lightning flash of yellow and white
Did you fall face ward or back? -
I can’t tell
With yoke plashed over your shell
With all the king’s men
The ovaries of a hen
It’s still quite ridiculous
A job so meticulous
What a sad day
No more Easter bunny
I don't mean to laugh
But some tales are funny
I think in the end
It's really his fault
you would never guess
Who was locked in his vault
The bunny was Jealous
Of jolly old Saint Nick
He felt like second fiddle
To a jolly white haired prick
So when the vault door opened
He pushed old Nick inside
He thought to himself
I'll take his sleigh for a ride
Before he got going
He loaded eggs in the back
Each one carefully packed
In poor Santa's red sack
On Donner on Blitzen
They flew up in the sky
An inexperienced flyer
Is now a very dead guy
His tiny bunny body
Was bounced out from the sled
Rudolph tossed him out
So now the Bunny's dead

Clue contest
'Mommy who killed the Easter Bunny?'
'Oh my! Nobody honey.
You see Saint Nick and the Tooth Fairy,
they had something for him to carry;
With his energy from sugary sweets,
He has some very quick feet;
But he did not realize
How quick the time does fly;
With all that helping
He did not realize his day was coming;
So you see he's not dead,
He is running late instead.'
'Oh Mommy that's ok.
He can bring my candy today!'
'Great.' Mom says to herself
'There goes my mental health.'
3/3/13
This season, the Easter Bunny was running late.
He made a bad decision that sealed his fate.
Nobody can say that his choice was good.
He took a shortcut through a low-income neighborhood.
Some young hood carrying a switchblade knife,
put an end to the fabled Easter Bunny’s life.
That was very tragic and not at all funny.
He was hopping through the slums without any money.
That was the tragic end of the poor Easter Bunny.
