dazzling frothy dolphin dives in dual dynamic with daughter
I marvel at their beauty, and their diving prowess
They astound, astonish, delight and disarm me
I feel one with them, a kindred dolphin
Ode to an Orca
You are the apex predator
of the ocean.
No other sea creature can
match you.
Even the mighty great white
fears you.
Its liver one of your prime
delicacies.
You are an intelligent animal who
can adapt to any environment.
A voracious eater, you are
not selective.
Fish, seals, whales, sharks, penguins,
dolphins are prime targets.
Even boats are not immune to
your voracious attacks.
You hunt in packs, the wolves
of the sea.
Your young are taught the ways
of the pod.
This knowledge is passed from
generation to generation.
Only mankind is powerful enough
to destroy you.
Even some tribes still revere your
power and might.
It is fortunate for us you have not
developed a taste for humans-yet
Remove outer sleeve and packaging
Place in large oven proof dish
Ride dolphins perpendicular to the beach
Paint weightlessness with fluorescent paint
Season to taste and add thoughts provided
Bake on medium heat for real before serving
Dolphin is winning it! The Picklemeister said.
You are crazy! Cow is right up there, way ahead!
Racing to the finish with a final enormous bound.
Spectators so enthralled, they did not make a sound.
dolphin shaped island
under a turquoise sky
calm and serene
you honor my soul dream
playful thoughts enter my mind
I want to dance from your head to your flippers
"Its not easy being big." The poet.
Such a sad day
I wrote a dolphin poem
Went to put it on display
But I almost fell into a rage
You see no matter how hard I tried
It would not fit on the page
I saved it as Jaypeg
Just so you could all see
how I spent a couple of hours
about dolphins playing happily
The words dont fit
and to fix it would be too much to do
so that is it !
Dolphin women joined the pink convent
It was a hullaballoo, said my cousin Kent.
The dolphin men tried to crash in too.
But alas, they were turned away in Kalamazoo.
I hear they wear pink hoods and capes said one.
That’s a rumor said my auntie whose name is Munn.
The men are all about trying to get in is what I heard.
They are acting crazy about it, silly, kind of absurd.
playful dolphins popped out of lake
frolicking like sixties Chip and Dale cartoons
Bringing a smile to my face
adding a new kind of joy to sundown at the lake
Sitting on deck
Sails in check
The sun falls from the sky
So many colors as the sun says good bye
Rocking upon the waves gently as can be
Watched the sun kiss the sea
Over yonder a dolphin keeps lazy pace
Think more for the company than the race
Hearing the waves break against the bow
Never more alive than I am now
Purples orange red and pink
Opens my soul to the brink
Peace does abide
These waves I ride
Far from the rushing tide
Solitude , lonely , yet so alive
beautifully perfect for what I did strive
Looking for peace of mind
Came all this way Just to find
It was in me all the while
Made me smile
Found what I was seeking
Had to head home now for my boat was leaking
No fear
New hope was here
New peace of mind
Myself was who I did find
The dolphin will roll in them, everyone assured the judge of the day.
Of course, he did too, because every dolphin loves to roll and play.
He may squash the flowers, some argued. Can we give it to the snake?
Judge was losing his patience. How much criticism did he have to take?
Either we give it to the dolphin, or I will not ever judge again.
The muskrats and beavers decided to let the blue dolphin win.
There were others disgruntled, especially the trolls and a mole.
When the excited young dolphin won, he did a victory roll!
He came straight out of the water toward me at the speed of a semi
I was unafraid, as the only creatures in this tank were dolphins and me
My clairsentience yelled, “This is not a dolphin!”
Refusing to listen to my inner voice, I was astounded to see….
the jagged teeth of a hungry great …….
Sunset waters ebb and flow,
in shades of silver, gold and blue;
megaliths arise, greet periwinkle skies
while warm sands, traveling waves embrace.
Eyes cast upon the horizon lines,
greet gulls in heaven's play;
a cavern frames old Sol's facade,
as curlicue waves knit watery lace.

What think you about Penguin
How as a bird quite genuine?
Yes, it’s a sea bird: penguin?
About future flights sanguine?
Chatting up was I Edwin,
Who really seemed set to win
Both a fair Mr. Godwin
And fairer me on Penguin
Being like Idolized Dolphin:
To man no less The Friendly;
Hence, needs less The Unfriendly…
A face you’d have named florid
Like lightning flashed The Livid
And breaths once much calm full flares,
That could ignite a race: hare’s
“A bird pretending a fish
Don’t match with man made a fish…
As you do gods shall bless you
And the next Elijah – you”
The cow is gaining on you! My aunt Martha said.
As a dolphin, I was embarrassed. My face got all red.
Bovine is winning! My grandma yelled a warning.
I pushed myself forward with dolphin super zing.
The cow is still coming! My daddy screamed out his face.
Ridiculous this heifer was even a contestant in a dolphin race!
I pushed myself forward the best that I could, hoping the cow….
Would land in water and go plunging down to the bottom somehow.
This cow was super powered, and seemed to be able to fly.
Come on! Yelled my grandma! Give it your best effort SLY!
By this time I had usually won every one of this events races.
I had to do better and I knew it by looking at my family’s faces!
Trip her! Kick her! Get her down! My grandpa Dolphin shrieked.
I knew this was bad sportsmanship, so I ignored him as he squeaked.
The cow began to gloat then, and it made me mad and mean.
I put my flipper out and I heard that heifer scream.
She plunged down in the water with a mighty splash.
That’s the way to do it! Yelled my uncle Sweet Succotash!
My family was cheering all over the place.
I had won the trophy, the loving cup and the race!
Leave me behind I don't need a crowd
nor synthetic sounds that are too loud
Drop me off at the shore by the seaside
I will climb a dolphin, don't need a ride
