And I’d end Ukraine war in a jiffy,
It’s just that my idea’s somewhat iffy.
The natural resources
Are not for battle courses,
‘If you feel not so ill
Of it, let’s have a deal:
You give me your rare-earth
To you of little worth,
And I’ll, every weapon
You so depend upon,
It’s fair deal, there’s nothing what so sniffy.

Nubs and dents and chips and strings
Imperfect world that burns and stings
Dings and scratches, holes and bends
Those flawed existence dividends
Cuts and bruises, broken bones
People that the world disowns
Paupers, cowards, plagues and kings
Imperfect world of many things
The fleeting investment of a moment's smile
~ makes all of life worthwhile
How heavenly these memories I’ve stored
with you. Warm August days, strolling on piers
that gently rock and sway. Worries ignored;
right now, our bag of gold. On hold, the tears.
Deposits in my mental bank – warm nights
watching the darkening eastern sky together…
then magic! Full moon rises in our sights
to surf the bay (except in cloudy weather).
Investments paying dividends; as now
we watch the news update today’s death toll.
Businesses closed, new wrinkles on my brow,
compounding bad news borrows from your soul.
Remind me to recall when life was good -
help me withdraw fond memories as I should.
The wealth of my feelings, I invested
In your love

Dividends of happiness, since then I
Receive!

As the fog rises from the creek
And the sun peeks through clouds
Amber needles drop from the pines
Roosters crow very proud
There's a feeble attempt of the sun
To give a shining glow
Against a backdrop of cobalt
As thick clouds slowly flow
Sunlight peeks swiftly through the clouds
Dew sparkles like diamonds
A short reflection of the sun
Morn's deluxe dividend
White frozen mist 'pon trees' bare limbs
Ice clings to leaveless branch
Limbs bend beneath the weight of cold
Fall to earth with a crunch
Winter's beauty cast its own spell
Snow glistens like diamonds
'Pon the stark silhouetted trees
Rest snow for ice cream viands

Foolish each and every walk
Never giving in to talk
Finally down on bended knee
