I'm scared to disappear
without leaving a
single trace behind.
Scared that everything
I've done will turn
to ashes.
Scared to be
forgotten
when I'm gone.
For every step
I take
to vanish just
like that—
No matter
how many
I leave behind.
As he disappears into the fog, forgiveness fills my soul.
I feel the love come back to me, my heart growing hundredfold.
As he disappears into the fog, I feel anxiety leave.
I feel an astounding sense of peace overflowing in me.
As he disappears into the fog, the bitterness is suddenly gone.
The joy and laughter I've now found makes the bitterness feel so wrong.
As he disappears into the fog, the goodness is overwhelming.
The kindness in my heart and soul has become so compelling.
As he disappears into the fog, by now he's traveled deep.
I feel the patience swell within as I lay it all at His feet.
As he disappears into the fog, the fog so thick and dense,
this self control I am now feeling is starting to make sense.
As he disappears into the fog, I pray he stays in there.
For him to come back to me is more than my soul can bear.
As he disappears into the fog, into the dark abyss,
I find comfort in knowing these gifts from Jesus will not go amiss.
Part of me disappears
without me knowing
Can’t reap a blessed thing
no clue what I was sowing
North wind nips buds of yesterday
icicles freeze every flower that sways
The brain desires to work overtime
while a haze swirls round
~ ‘Tis not a victimless crime
The kids set out a bowl of milk with chips
For dear Old Santa with no thought of tips
But when Santa arrived
He was somewhat surprised
To see Jeff the cat a-lickin' his lips
When gravity disappears
I will float higher than an oak tree.
Collecting leaves and acorns on my way up.
Traveling into the fluffy white clouds.
Snatching tiny pieces to consume
so I can see if they taste like cotton candy.

Floating through the grey ether of imagination
In connected but disassociated ways
Like stray clouds
Passing by with
Nothing to say
Each a form of its own meaning
Needing to be painted on a canvas
of thick paper and plain words
A descriptive colloquy pray
Prayed and then captured
Before it disbands and
disappears forever
Before threatening storms
D-readed disease disappears,
E-vaporating into thin air;
N-ew normal at full throttle
I-s quickly beating the
S-layer.
S-o dreaded disease disappears,
A-s ferocious flu passes by;
L-ethal link leaves for good,
V-icious virus says goodbye.
A-trocious ailment aims to go,
N-ever to cause fears and tears;
T-he terrible threat is abated,
E-arth's dreaded disease disappears.

As shifting shadows merge within the night,
darkness devours disheveled silhouettes.
And daylight disappears, fading from sight;
as a splendiferous sun slowly sets.
Twilight's crimson-colored clouds coalesce;
tinting the skies a cotton candy pink.
And yet, darkness descends nevertheless,
tattooing shadows with ebony ink.
Sequined stars sparkle in the midnight sky;
glittering gems, in the fabric of space.
And today greets tomorrow with a sigh,
as Luna's moon mirrors Sol's fiery face.
Moonbeams mold monsters out of shards of black;
sculpting scary shapes with chisels of light.
And female mosquitoes mount their attack;
as buzzing, bloodthirsty biters: alight.
Silence shushes sounds, stirring in the day;
as night's nocturnal creatures slowly wake.
And stridulating crickets chirp away;
trilling, till Dawn breaks: and dreamers awake.
THE FLIES DISAPPEARS IN AUTUMN
autumn's equinox
earth's temperatures is falling
BUZZING-BUZZ-annoying flies
start to disappear
they light on your shoulder and...
buzz runs into your ear/face
