Turn Left at the lights

Obtuse abuse..rude platitudes shout..

About alternative attitudes..generations..

Scream at different altitudes & latitudes..

Venerate mandarins sins..

Generate pernicious vicissitudes

Vicious avaricious machinations..

Celebrate nations chagrin…

Pander to propaganda spin..

AI garlanded reputations..

Cohorts in suits cavort in cahoots..

Kiss or diss..the abyss

Hiss of mis-information bliss..

Arrests..capitalist corporate conquests...detests protest..

Well got egregious prior & previous..

SO

Whatever your hue or world view..

We know what's wrong..doesn't belong

Deliriously daring to dream of derring do..

The meme..prime time you probably knew..

The Force..of course..

Is also seriously strong in you..

Premium MemberPride

Do not wear pride like a necklace
For God detests pride and arrogance

Pride does not go unpunished
Pride leads to disgrace

Humility is rewarded with wisdom
While pride begets destruction

Cause it takes credit for God’s accomplishments
And covets God’s glory

Pride demeans others
It arrogates sense of Almightiness
To a mere mortal

Pride stifles growth of other virtues
Makes one to reject help needed

Prevents one to listen and help others
And deludes one into believing

In one’s self sufficiency
But in reality Pride is admission of weakness

Pride leads to extreme selfishness
Pride does not gratify

Pride does not exulte
Rather it dehumanizes and belittles

Bright yellow sun, a stroke of noon’s delight.
Ice cold, red hot, a ravished tongue of spurs.

In moonlight serenade she scales the roof.
The darkling wine on lips — a sparkling feast.

Her rhizomic heart drum, in mystic beats.
The beast detests the prince of pomposity.

Cracked branches fall with weight from snow and ice
and eyes despise the madman’s gaze, above.

Her soft-hued dress resembles candlelight
And leave a stain, a heart in pain – yes, both.

Riots From Rhymes

There are only so many pages and so many stages
Of life I can riddle and write on through
Until the paper's a waste, and the words are bad taste
And I can't tell fiction from true
Until the pen is bleeding and loves are leaving
And my cursive has gone too far
Eventually the trees start screaming that I'm not worth redeeming
And I don't know who you are
The notebook is finding it detests it's binding
And the lines are just scribbles and scars
The pencils revolted, and the erasers remolded
And the calligraphy has taken up arms
There are only so many minutes and moment, of clarity and atonement
That the typewriter is willing to hold
A quill and a quiver, and how do they differ
When the reading light has become so cold
There are riots from rhymes in tempestuous times
And I am growing so weary now
When I sit down to write, of love and of spite
And whatever my pen will allow
There are only so many nights and so many slights
I can sit and stand to record
With words as my weapon, to make the pain lessen
It's time to trade in for the sword

The Predator

Denying reality not to feel guilty,
doesn't mean being free of misery;
he sits alone, he grumbles, he detests
the pathetic glances they flash at him;
he fills his tall glass to the brim...
and spit out all the untold truths!

Losing what was dear to him is another piffle,
a thing without value that suggests intimidation;
what makes him happy is aiming his sharp rifle
and threaten who doesn't share his conviction.

Some shut their mouths, many run;
dying at the hands of a violent man
may take their life as he pulls the trigger,
turns into a beast, shouting with anger.

Has he ever read the Holy Bible that forbids murder?
Punishment doesn't apply to him: he's the predator;
and he punishes whom he thinks is responsible
for his misfortunes and loves to see him tremble!

The predator will face the Judge and the Jury,
they will convict him and throw away the key;
ah, taking a human life is eternal damnation:
there's no escape from such condemnation!

Search For Gold

Throughout their lives, beyond their hold,
many people search only for gold,
when there could be emerald,
opal, ruby and diamond.

They explore the deep pit.
Sometimes, they don't find it.
They are willing to bet,
plunging half of their feet.

They may win, they may lose,
but they don't mind the dues.
If the bounty is fine,
they could feast and toast wine.

But then, gold is perilous;
It corrupts the weak souls.
All the gaspers may dig,
and some dig like a pig.

And just like an insult
that detests the whole truth,
some leave a diamond to dig gold,
just to settle for a mold.

Premium MemberThe Letter L

L is the first letter how life was created
L is the reason why God loves us so much
L is the season when the world started
L is the label why your name means to Him so much
L is so good in every way when you lend a helping hand
L is so forgiving when you extend it with an open hand
L is the light that you need in the dark
no matter how bad the condition spark
L is so good in anything and everything
except in things and actions that God detests
L can hurt you if there's hatred and envy that rests
L can never go wrong
when we are guided in an upright position
L will tell us that life still goes on in any situation
L is gracious and long if you will cherish it
L can only be short at anytime when you cut it
L is the center of value -- utilize it, share it
Without this letter, everything in "life" is incomplete
Without this letter, "love" can never be complete
L, whichever direction you turn it or rotate it,
  check will come out
Affirming that creations start with love and end with all
L is the greatest gift of all

Had I the Same Age

How wild is youth? This is rarely questioned,
it's an age where anything is permitted,
and in the rush of days, it gets wasted;
who other than I detests what is so absurd?

Had I the same age, I would take the advice
from whom has already lived and loved it;
don't question my harsh introspection:
you can learn how to use your intuition.

Is youth that time for feeling happy and silly,
letting someone else worry about a responsibility?
I would fairly agree to a certain degree, but I protest:
how can somebody so young carry an extreme weight?

Live your youth care-free and don't give up anything,
do that later on you won't regret missing out on something;
chase the glory of dreamers, accomplish those milestones,
and be remembered for your audacity and firmness!

Had I the same age? I would conquer at will what is inexpugnable,,
writing down all my earned victories, either big or small;
whatever your ego is: let your aspiration climb any wall,
and if strength is the ultimate choice: your triumph is inevitable!

Pride detests God
     God detests Pride

   If you dare utter this
     You better go hide…

Premium MemberIngenious

Ingenious, sin deceives by taking right
and warping slight, its plumb no longer true,
till what seems good to man in dub’ous light
is clear maligned, askance, to be eschewed.

Subtle departure from divine decrees
occurs near unperceived through loosened bounds
on that which God ordains, by small degrees,
till far from what is written one is found.

Confusing Father's love with that which sates,
or, willful, grants the creature more accord
till our Creator it subordinates,
thus we turn gifts to that which is abhorred.

The heart, with sin infected, beyond cure,
seeks evil with each beat; detests the pure.

I stand up for America, my country,
Her leaders, her anthem, her flag
Though I be accused of being a brag,
I’ll not hesitate to tell you bluntly:

The USA, by her name, stands proud
Against every foreign and domestic foe
She is ready to fight if struck by a blow
While she detests war, for cryin’ out loud,

So when you speak ill of my homeland
Her flag, her anthem, or her leader
You are about to encounter a danger
For I’ll be willing to fight, understand?

Premium MemberWendy's Wet

When Waffle sits on Wendy’s knee,
Poor Wendy gets covered with pee,
Mums chinchilla pet,
Leaves Wendy’s lap wet,
Poor Wendy gets very angry.

Now Wendy detests her mums pet,
It ONLY makes Wendy’s lap wet,
Poor Wendy is soaking,
And she isn’t joking,
She wants pet put down by the vet!

Thanks to my lovely on line friend 'Wendy' for her tale of Waffles the chinchilla:-)

Discombobulation

Deed beseeches with no passion,
Ruled like a peasant,
By cussing, language was weaken,
Rationality overruled by emotion,
Ignorance detests reason,
These mongrels play chicken.

What a trick!

Premium MemberGod's Warning About Idolatry - 1 John 5: 21

God hates every kind of sin
but idolatry He detests most of all
this especially among His children
whom He loves, wishes them not to fall

The Lord throughout scripture has said
that concerning idols be on your guard
never to give them any kind of foothold
for if you do heavens road may be barred

But you may ask what's an idol?
well anything or one that takes God's place
God demands your full attention always
He must be the Lord ever at your place

You may think, hey God's not fair
what looks good to you, maybe not
you've got to trust God for real
for He's been here longer so very rare

In conclusion, be very sure
your only idol is God alone
for only, He is worth your time
it was for your sins He did atone

("Children, be on your guard against idols." 1 John 5:21)
