Andrea,
a woman considerate and kind, mellow, down to earth, and fun-loving,
she loves to use her mind.
Thefore, scrubbing on her knees, this gal you’ll never find!
Sisters she has four of, but there are many others.
Gal pals she has, who are her sisters from other mothers.
One husband all her life - at times he drives her insane.
Old boyfriends sometimes are subjects of her poems.
They reside in the treasure chest compartment of her brain.
Mother to two is she– one girl and one boy.
Grandma to four – two of whom don’t always bring their parents such great joy!

She loves to eat, so it follows that she loved to learn to cook.
She makes things up and has no need of recipes coming from a book.
She loves to hunt for bargains and save her honey money.
She loves all kinds of movies, both dramatic ones or funny.
She feels great passion for the things she believes are true
and feels she’s learned a lot in life from all that she’s gone through.

Her fears are rather silly. She avoids driving in a strange big city.
It brings her stress, which she detests. She might freak out, which is not pretty.
Changing weird attachments on a vacuum cleaner would
be a thing to stress her out. At puzzles she’s no good.
New technology keeps coming at her job. This also makes her stressed,
but she can sure accessorize. She’s great at getting dressed!
Her greatest fear – seriously – is facing suffering,
so fear of pain and torture (more than fear of death) is her scariest thing.

She saw a lot of Europe when she studied in Madrid.
She got to take one nice cruise, and other things she did
were seeing more than half the states and going to Brazil.
Her husband hates to travel, so it’s good when she was young she got her fill.
She only really wants to see her lovely family.
Because she lives so far away, with them she’d love to be.
And when she dies, her brother Dale she hopes she will see first.
Young he died, and finally . . . with thankfulness for poetry
and for all her other passions she feels her heart might burst!

Self-Centered

“Do you see any leg wound, my friend
I feel some pain, see drops of blood -
the road we passed was stained.” The horse
asked the cat, who detests blood or mud.

“I don’t know,” answered the cat, nestled cozily
in a bag strapped on the horse’s back.
“I didn't feel any discomfort that might have
been caused by your change in stride or slack.”

Same Time, Same Place...

Same time
Same place
Different color
Of the face

Same K-12 system
Same university
Different college
Who gained
More knowledge?
Who excelled?
Who got more hell?

Same job
Same school
Same students
Same certification
Different degrees

Who stayed
On their knees?
Both of us
Yes, indeed.
Who achieved
Honestly?
Well let’s see!

Same time
Same place
Different color
Of the face
I made it
By God’s grace
You are
A Satanic disgrace.

You are the
Face of hateful
Hypocrisy
I settle for
None of your
Fallacious foolishness
And malicious mediocrity.

Same hometown
I keep it real
You a damn clown
God’s giving you
A furious frown

A lazy witch
Probably born rich
Living in the sticks
Killing nature’s beauty
Just to get away
From people like me
An earth killer
Fake teacher
And destiny stealer
A true thriller
Makin fake scrilla

I worked hard
While you pressed bricks
Storing awful ATP
To make sure
You got the best of me
And people from my
Community.

My adenosine triphosphate (ATP)
From glycolysis in my body
After Krebs cycle
Gives off love
While yours come
From hate
We’ve had the same bodily
Processes similar chemical makeup
I just have more melanin
You act the way you act
Because of your grandfather’s mistakes

I hate to see your fate
If you don’t change
You are devilish
And deranged
I know your game
Your name
We’re from the same turf
You and I
Are carbon based products
One tries hard daily to be just
So that when the minister
Says ashes to ashes
And dust to dust
That I get the reward
I deserve
You got my reward
I still work hard
My ATP
Detests the enemy

It ain’t fair
That we walked in the same place
Respect you received
And hate slapped me in the face
Walking around with on your face
Did a dissertation on me
If I looked like you
With my knowledge
At 23 I would have had
Ten PhD’s.

Girl please you got the nasty woman disease
Get on your knees for the right reas’
Pray to us Jes’
Save me from being a real bigot
And sometimes on the sly
Help me to love you
And all your creatures
And accept diversity

You need help with that dirty blond hair
Pony tails sticking in the air
Depicting your true savior
Not mine that will catch the one’s
That are still alive and in Him
Up in the midair.

Bob the Bigfoot

HOLY COW! It's Bigfoot, there in the brush
Lower your voices- he's skiddish
Now, hush
I know his habits, I'm privy as hell
An expert and scholar, I've studied him well

While in line at the grocery
For years I've immersed
In various tabloids becoming well versed
I even speak sasquatch
Oh, you don’t believe?!
It's a cross between Latin and baboonanese

His dads a zookeeper, his mothers a chimp
Her name is Chin Chin- his name is Chip
He's a renaissance man
Well at least is half way
The other halves savage in need of a shave

Just stash those cameras he hates paparazzi
And Jack Links commercials
And rappers with posses
He loathes boy bands and people named Josh
And meat from a can
And Spicegirls called Posh

He's against any wars
but supports the troops
And completely abhors
When his fur cakes with poop

 detests media bias
mainly FOX NEWS
But believes Bill O'reilly
has interesting views

He enjoys fine wine and deep conversation
Flinging his poo and masturbation
Those would be two of his favorite hobbies
The world calls him Big Foot
His pops calls him Robbie

Premium Member The Letter L

L is the first letter how life was created
L is the reason why God loves us so much
L is the season when the world started
L is the label why your name means to Him so much
L is so good in every way when you lend a helping hand
L is so forgiving when you extend it with an open hand
L is the light that you need in the dark
no matter how bad the condition spark
L is so good in anything and everything
except in things and actions that God detests
L can hurt you if there's hatred and envy that rests
L can never go wrong
when we are guided in an upright position
L will tell us that life still goes on in any situation
L is gracious and long if you will cherish it
L can only be short at anytime when you cut it
L is the center of value -- utilize it, share it
Without this letter, everything in "life" is incomplete
Without this letter, "love" can never be complete
L, whichever direction you turn it or rotate it,
  check will come out
Affirming that creations start with love and end with all
L is the greatest gift of all

Premium Member Constant Craving

Curiosity concerning Careen’s covert chocolate and candy cache
causes children’s cartoon crusader Charlie a calamity!

Careen’s childminding cousin Charlie and carelessly closes her candy cupboard ...
curious Charlie’s no cherub, and can’t curb his constant candy craving

Charlie champs continually on copious chunks of candy and chocolate
Chomping contentedly on chewy coffee caramels and candy canes.
Charleston chews and Careen’s costly chocolate caramel crunch clusters
Charlie carelessly chucks the crinkled coverings on the carpet

Careen clocks Charlie chomping candy from her confectionary collection
Careen’s candy and chocolate is cherished
Consequently, Careen cannot condone cousin Charlie’s crafty crime ...

Careen’s crotchety and cross at Charlie’s out of character conduct
and contemplates contacting the cops
Charlie cringes and claims clemency,
claiming he can’t control his cravings... he’s a covert chocoholic connoisseur
Careen can’t commiserate, calling Charlie a complete cad!

Charlie’s complains his canine crown is cracked
and the chewy candy’s caused cavernous cavities

Calmly Careen closes and chains her candy cupboard
then chuckles coldheartedly at Charlie’s candy catastrophe!

Cowering on a Careen’s comfy couch, Charlie cries continually
Charlie is a complete coward and can’t cope with caries caused by candy...
He deplores and detests the drone of the dentist’s drill!

Sister With a Sword

I’m a sister who loves the Lord.
I’m a sister who’s a team player
Who desires to serve the kingdom,
Of God. I’m a sister who desires,
To be more like Jesus.
I’m a sister who knows the power,
Of prayer. I’m a sister who understands
That knowing and applying the Word,
Of God gives His children a protective
Layer. I’m a sister who detests Satan.
I’m a sister who knows that as a child
Of the king. I have authority over him.
No matter how hard the fight seems God
Will intervene and win. I’m a sister who
Loves the Lord. I’m a sister with a sword.

Sanctified lady,
Intensified lady,
Sweet lady a dear,
Treasure of the Father who has,
Energy who to really,
Run on faithfully,

With His help and other kingdom,
Inhabitants in order to increase,
The kingdom of God for,
His glory only for no absolute outside show to this world.

An astute lady, a

Sister
Who loves the Lord and
Opposes all of the
Roles that the
Devil plays.

Unique Lady

She is gracious, skillful and filled with true love,
Dense weight on her shoulder to help those in need,
 Utopian woman selected from above,
Malice absent, but poetry her daily feed,
Doesn`t compromise as regards perfection,
She`s voted as the VOICE without election,
Pride and oppression she detests to the core,
Her traits and values many damsels adore.

The Groom of the Stool

The Groom of the Stool

(Two meditations on an ancient post: see below)

I.
The Groom of the Stool needs some time
To commit his experience to rhyme.
This commodious peer
Detests diarrhoea
But thinks constipation sublime

II.
See where the philosophic King
Sits Rodinesque upon his “throne”.
The patient Groom stands wondering
And draws conclusions of his own.
As often at such times as these,
He thinks of Plato, Locke and Kant
And their epistemologies —
And of his own ingenious slant:
“His Majesty – though no-one’s fool,
A veritable Marc Aurel –
Rises still wiser from his stool.
From which it’s possible to tell
That wisdom comes not only a priori,
But also, sometimes, a posteriori.”

Note: These two tasteless pieces were prompted by a colleague’s discovery of the post of “Groom of the Stool”.

This was a highly-placed courtier in 16th Century England, whose prestigious task it was – I regret to say, gentle reader – to wipe the Royal Bottom, at least according to some sources:
* https://www.tudorsociety.com/groom-stool-sarah-bryson/;
* http://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/king-toilet-attendant-england?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=atlas-page

We fell – as one would – to speculating about the philosophical and poetic potential of this post....

Happy Birthday

Saying Happy Birthday to you
Really flatters you and me too

Wishing you a joyous day
Memorable… Never to fray

Do enjoy every bit of it
Until you fall in love with it
One hundred years run it
Lug your pail and go for it

Walk straight with firm faith in heart
Jesus knows who does serve by heart

Happy Birthday to you my dear
Is my dear wish to you from here
Though my poem is simple to read
Hoping you grab it soon to read
With sensible spirit and with speed

Take a toast and remember those
Who still care for you the most

Never wish you ever go astray
But steadily accept warm allay

Pretty Texas has a home for you
Surely it does really fit you
You know now I still love you
See your path describes you

My house detests a busy mouse
See only angels enter my house
Pleasing Jesus who welcomes us
And all who comprehend not lust

Reach up for a blessed morning
Restoring moments with finest stories
Pleasant life indeed it is; not boring
Warm sensations do have true beauty

Have your champagne and toast
With friends who only know good
God is watching your path though
Your roots are drawn by one foot

Your stepmother wishes good for you
And finest hopes to hear from you
As a beautiful girl I remember you
So, study well and succeed for you
Stampede those who snagged you
A bright future is leading you

None will look backward and point
At a feather falling in a pink pond
But at every good deed you were fond of
Though snow can polish your smile more

Urges Jesus to cheer up with luck
And always shows you the pretty sun
Hoping to reply a thank you knot
At any time you read it with fun

Light up your candle with utmost kindness
Please dare to make a wish for goodness
See God can read only best candid wishes
That foil your pretty heart with happiness.

Mutiny

Rebellion against Things that God detests, can be seen as Mutiny.
The gathering of things from Greed, is noted to be a bounty.

Accumulating anything from all around is Greed.
This accumulation does not make the greedy Freed!

Everything that the eye catches in another's Space,
Cause greedy ones to pick up the Pace.

Saying in mind: "I want that, I must have that, I'll just have those,"
May lead to nowhere but satan's pit!

Thus you see, Rebellion against God's detestations,
Can be the agonizing ACT of wrong manifestations!

What Is This Thing We Are Living In

>>1111>>WHAT IS THIS THING WE ARE LIVING IN?<<1111<<

Surrounded by beauty away from cities criticism,
Sitting in awe, But questioning being a law abiding citizen,
What is this thing we are living in?
What the hell is up with all the harmful acts I'm witnessing?
Designed strategically, and intentionally sending out devilish energy subliminally,
Subliminal messages manifesting terror in the form of evil,
We have a rival with an agenda of upheaval,
Trapped in a false reality bringing disconnection to the level of your soul,
Everything infiltrated by the Jesuit Soldiers,
Who becomes jury of these occult rulers?
They cast so vast esoteric secrets at the unaware,
In my eyes I find this very unfair,
It brings about a tear,
Because I care about humans as one universal family,
But I'm really over one another's rambling,
Just like meaningless flings I can see through it,
I keep my mind fit by keeping still as I sit,
Never quit!
Never giving up on the path of genuine enlightenment,
Spent a moment right now in serenity before today's tests
Away from all negativeness of over worked peoples stress,
I let my mind rest as I lay on my back feeling blessed,
While looking at the mountains and seeing the power of their crests,
I confess to everything I have done to our Mother Earths Nest,
There's so much of our actions that She intensely detests,
This life is a test so invest in higher thought processes,
Drink pure rain water to progress before going further,
Lets go in and explore so we can find the legit teacher that's like a father.

Premium Member Juneteenth - Not For Contest

This time each year we now celebrate
The conviction: love can conquer hate

Yet while our journey has come so far
A horizon, peaceful, still shines afar

My heart-of-hearts detests the fights
But we MUST push on for equal rights

For all those souls thus hurt or lost
Must not be ceded forsaken cost

Those voices cried in pain and strife
Will inspire our own to abet free life

So as ONE race, of women and men
          The message, timeless, now-to-then

Is that we'll strive for love, in hand
'Til a time ALL hearts can understand

That heaven gave us this good earth
To share as HUMANS, in equal worth

And from the sands of struggle, sift
Grains of compassion ... our greatest gift.
