Premium MemberMissed Opportunities

I believe life owed me no more than a chance,
at times my failures were of my own making.
Often times I’ve procrastinated at first glance,
and missed what God intended for my taking.

I deposited opportunities on the stove’s back burner,
with intent to address them some future day.
This wouldn’t happen to an astute discerner,
inattention always demanded a price i pay.

Sometimes but once an opportunity came ,
and then God gave it to one more deserving.
I faced the mirror with my finger of blame,
without hope of the opportunity returning.

Time is critical in making good decisions,
get it right the first time, life grants no revisions.

Premium MemberContrast This And That

Pause, consider, and think about this.
Some rich people invest and spend.
Some poor people wish and spend.
Short people reach up.
Tall people bend down.

Good habits beget good results.
Bad habits render bad results.
Bad beginnings often end well.
Bad endings force 'look-backs'.

You cannot withdraw something
that has not been deposited.
We usually reap what we have sown.
Sometimes, favor suspends the norm.

When adding it all up,
At the end of the day,
I'd rather be home with
A happy wife and 500 miles

Removed from disappointed
Siblings, rather than being alienated
From a pouting, unhappy wife, while
Enjoying happy, celebrating siblings.
Stop, meditate, and muse about that.

Remembering Uncle Doug

REMEMBERING UNCLE DOUG:
(Written by Michelle L. LeBlanc 05/24/2025)

Your love will always be remembered
As will your heart for family & friends
Thank you for your love and kindness
And your heart to give a helping hand

Though today your ashes are buried in the soil
Your love is deposited in our hearts
And although we may not see you now
We know your spirit did not depart

And now as you join with family
Of the ones who had gone on before
You are still having your family reunions
As those relationships have been restored!

Premium MemberSeeds

Blackbirds actively search for food, yet not all seeds have the potential to germinate. Poets draw their inspiration from seeds, birds, and the sun. When a bird drops a seed in the forest, the sun provides the necessary nourishment. The seed may sprout or it may not. Similarly, a woman may choose to be with her partner; he could lead to a pregnancy, or he might not. She has the power to decide whether to continue the pregnancy, although external factors can influence its development.

In my creative vision, I have several compelling ideas that I am determined to share with the world. A fashionable item will achieve widespread popularity as it connects with its audience. A poem will carve its path through its distinct journey.
Importantly, the poet plays a vital role in driving the movement forward in establishing the movement.
If sperm were deposited into the soil, it is unlikely that they could survive like seeds.
Although I refrain from claiming that my poem will endure indefinitely, my unspoken words will grow like seeds, planting my name firmly in the landscape of knowledge.
I am my true self, akin to a poem that originated from a mere seed.

Single Bed

Single Bed

I’m an admiral of
my bed I sit on
now!
My rank of
sitting and lying in
the winter of
1995 in
Australia is of
the highest regard!
I know many officers of
the bed know that.
My high level is
the envy of
bedders.
Toward the back of
my bed is
my deodorant stick,
and he’s
rotting.
He’s the Food World Banana Thief Suspect.
I won’t turn him in because
I hate bananas.
My bed head knobs are
made up of
a radioactive element of
the actinide series,
occurring as a
decay product of
uranium.
They are
my only real friends.
Most of
the length of
my footboard top rail is
very attractive, appealing, tiniest women high-yielding soil comprising of
sand, mud, and sill deposited by
water that flows.

Premium MemberBeyond Weird

Undeniably these are weird times for US all
Maybe they have been for a very long time
Where the hard working and law abiding
Are used and abused, ridiculed and punished
But now it’s beyond weird
Where those who come illegally
Are given a red carpet
Flown around, deposited at five star hotels
Given thousands a month in handouts
And slaps on the wrist
When they steal and assault anyway
In thanks for our kindness.
And when we, bearing the costs, complain
Then we are the bigots, the racists
Fascists, and, well frankly, garbage.
While those who come seeking refuge
Are recognized as the princes and princesses
They really are
In this fairy tale fantasy of El Norte.

Viva la revolucion for it is here and now
Forget your protests
Dance and celebrate while you can
For in the morning there will be work to do
And streets to clean, of all these rats
And their rotting pumpkin carriage.

Wings of your blings

You make your intelligence stings,
Because their knowledge to you stinks,
Wherever you are, your wisdom sings,
'Cos you got it abundant from the King of kings.

Even when your handsomeness blinks,
It shines brighter than the most expensive blings,
Not comparable to the values of any earthly things,
That's why wise people give your arms good clings.

With success you daily enjoy a fling,
The new arrivals in your accounts daily send your phone a ping,
It's even a broader smile when your phones ring,
Richness in your life never stops making money tings.

Emotive love is in your heart deposited in bings,
It is lots of goodness that being your friend brings,
Your greatness is appreciated by all human beings,
That's why good tidings from you can never develop wings.

Premium MemberMANEUVERABLE MANURE-

"Running through a mile of wasted compiled vile
I find myself conflicted sitting in a position
groaning I'm foul planting a seed of tan and brown
the snake comes out of me and it flees deposited manure
Gastly every movement is not pure, sometime it's deterred
so now I gravitate as I clasp my cheeks
out from the plummets from the tests intestinal ...
verbiage I'm not on my knees
Yet, yes I bow down bowel comes out of me
What I just planted was healthy indeed
it was a groupings of so many seeds
 running in through my garden
 or would you pardon
Me as I sit posture above a toilet
and now I let Go of the grouping for you see is my bowels moving
My waste has been displaced
into a porcelain throne filled with water clear
as I touch the handle it's spirals down
Maneuvered Manure
the tunnel to eventually become one with the sewer"

Back in the days
                           of yesterday and today, or,
                             traditions and contemporaries
               ... she came.

                               Yesterday and tradition say ...
leave your things home, she'll leave your things alone.
                                Today and contemporaries say ...
in so many words ... heart heeds all abilities.

                               Yesterday and tradition say ...
you leave, she leaves, or you take, she takes.

that theirs were words of comfort.

She came and they left ... she never came back, nor did they, except one, me, [oldest parents and siblings passed]--I'm the lone inheritor, with a piece of paper of a new sizeable land and redesigned coastline, turned into a new land deed, along with my new will, --sits in a bank, I, in a beach townhouse in Hilo town. All three (3) are well-deposited earning interests, one happily due in ~June~.

Premium MemberLets Hike Up To Druid Arch

let’s hike up to the druid arch!
i am less than enthusiastic
let’s drive to it I suggest
grandma! you can’t drive there!\

we do a little encyclopedia research
druid arch is one hundred and fifty foot tall
impressive in the middle of nowhere

it is a cedar mesa sandstone reminder
of the Permian period
san dune deposited 245 million years ago

it is located at the head of elephant canyon
in canyonlands national park,
San Juan County, Utah

The hike there is eleven miles out and back
I get out my running shoes and my walker
hoping my granddaughter can push two hundred pounds in the arizona sand

Premium MemberOut of the Nowhere

I was distracted
and could no longer recall
the thought that had just
occupied my mind.
There was only
the pleasant afterglow
of whatever it was,
a sweet residue lingering
in the place where
the thought used to be.
I was annoyed
that I'd let it go.

Most of our identity,
our past, is like this,
a vast ocean of formless haze
floating between small islands
of what's remembered.
Sometimes, that haze is toxic,
sweeping in from an unnamed
place with it poisons
deposited by an event
long erased of detail.
Others come in gently
as a feeling that settles
like perfume, driftings
from a contented moment
of love set free of time
and place, an escapee
from memory.
It can be electric.

Who we are
seems mostly hidden
in that vague region
where the aura and lint
of our lives accumulate,
too ethereal for memory
to hold captive and replay
in the now, no more than
mere notions arising
out of the nowhere
from where we come.

Could platinum coin deposit
In the U.S. Treasury's closet
Our debts enjoin?
A trillion-dollar coin
Might yield a government profit

Author's Note: Section 31 U.S.C. § 5112 of the United States Code authorizes the Treasury Department to "mint and issue platinum bullion coins" in any denominations the Secretary of the Treasury may choose. This privilege only extends to platinum coins. Thus, if the Treasury were to mint a few one-trillion dollar platinum coins, it could deposit such coins in the general fund instead of issuing debt (lol).

Seigniorage is the difference between the receipts from the Federal Reserve System from the sale of circulating coins at face value and the costs of minting and distributing the coins. Seigniorage is deposited periodically to the General Fund where it reduces the government's need to borrow.

Of course, this might create a wave of inflation. But we should all realize that the value of paper currency eventually tends to zero. In any event, the inflation we've experienced in 2022 is just a taste of what's to come since the politicians don't want to explain a depression to their voters. We're entering strange times.

Psalm 25

Host of heaven, be in war; rescue my peace, please!
Look at the map, locate the field and battle on...
Till my all is free from the thwarting tease.

Don't listen to any form of plea dealing to appease,
Until the last minute by which the battle be won.
Host of heaven, be in war; rescue my peace, please!

Fight, fight beyond what their strategies can cease.
Destroy them to such extent that dream not to rerun...
Till my all is free from the thwarting tease.

Gain the background checking to make ease,
The atmosphere you have successfully outrun...
Host of heaven, be in war; rescue my peace, please!

How much are the charges deposited in decrees?
Squeeze out the juice of their mouths; their words, abandon!
Till my all is free from the thwarting tease.

Weaken the weak yet strong enough to freeze
And make sure sets are forever left undone.
Host of heaven, be in war; rescue my peace, please!
Till my all is free from the thwarting tease.
