Death of a Father

A father is a man who dies each day,
Day by day he weakens like fluctuating sand,
Sand that blunders through fingers slipped away,
Away from everything he used to planned.

Planned joys are lost in a bitter sea,
Sea of silence where his name is blurred,
Blurred by a mother’s cold and sharp decree,
Decree that leaves his loving heart unheard.

Unheard he stands, a ghost within the soul,
Soul torn apart like cloth against the knife,
Knife that cuts the bond to make her whole,
Whole is the death that ends a father’s life.

Candra and Idunn

There he stands across from her,
With the invisible wall between them,
Knowing that chance to be together would be the cost of deat,.
So they stand apart from one another in two different dimensions,
     That neither can reach,
Never will he touch her Beautiful face,
That shines like the moon in the swallowing darkness,
Never will there lips touch that he has kissed many lifetimes before,

Never will she feel the warmth of his love,
Which once sustained the lonely coldness of her empty heart,
Never will their bodies touch with the fiery passion they longed for,
These desire have been has denied in this lifetime,
And powerless to change their own destiny,
They stand apart whispering the word of love.
