Premium MemberDancing Between Skies

I like the sky, it's always promising something.
It's a soothsayer for eyes scanning up,
for signs, traces and lines of reassurance.
It carries fragments of yesterday,
It continues its theme, but twists on cue
to change its scene
in hue of clouds churning
in stir of witches brew.

I look at the sky to fly,
above the quagmire and
monotony of my daily plot, grounded.
Up there I see the script in clouds,
drifting like vanes to wind's direction.
Recalling how to dream on cue,
to believe again in happenstance,
carving the way forward,
with a longing for change, unexpected.

The sky writes in gold, then smears it gray.
It promises calm, then whisks it away.
It quells its brush to hush before thunder resounds.
It gives no answer when we beg for rain.
Won't stop before we go insane!
I look sky high for change,
in hope for delivery.

                                         Under the gray sky

                                   spining with stretched arms

                                      getting wet and singing

                                       "Rain, rain, go away..."

                                       A child's lovely dream!

Premium MemberIn a world where words are butterflies of light dancing at dawn

In a world where words are butterflies of light dancing at dawn,
The poet becomes an alchemist of shadow, transmuting silence into gold,
A beacon spreading its ray through the waves of time's mist,
Critic of society, he digs deep into the soil of ignorance with a silver quill.
Verses flow like a river of stars through the eternal night of consciousness,
Unknown hero, uncalled, but carrying in his chest a fire of change,
For he knows that writing is not just the echo of dogs barking at the moon in the village,
But a pledge to build bridges across the abysses of lost hearts.
If these words are just wind whistling through the void of oblivion,
Then why write, why dream under the sky of indifference?
In each letter, the poet puts his soul as a silent offering,
Hoping that somewhere, a heart will grow wings and fly towards truth.
Somewhere, in hidden corners of the world, the echo of verse will resound,
A heart will stir, will feel, will understand the call from the star,
Writing is not just creation, but a cry, a desire for change,
A manifesto to make the world better under the light of eternal dream.

Dancing Into the Unknown

The old year fades, its echoes drifting light,
A newborn spark ignites the midnight sky.
We laugh, we drink, we dance into the night,
A fleeting wish, a dream that longs to fly.
Resolutions sworn in candle’s sight,
Yet whispered vows may fade as days go by.
But in this hour, with hope and love we glow,
The past behind, the future yet to show.

Premium MemberDancing Frees Me

I wanted to be a dancer when I was a little girl.
The magic, beauty of dance stayed in me.
Dance makes me groove and show off my graceful move.
Ooh, when I go dancing out there.
I feel I am free and in a magical place,
Self-expressing feelings.
So “Let that rhythm get into you”
Showing the beauty to be free and to live life.
Oh, dancing with gusto and zest shows my joy,
Feeling free to be free, feeling free to be me.

All through the forest
A holiday to commence in marvelous
It’s the Christmas trees stance
They will soon dance
A Christmas Carols are Sang
Togetherness being among
The music tempo is circulated up
Dazzle Christmas lights
All shining brightly at night
The Christmas trees are now in formation
It is a lovely creation
All this is happening outdoors
Snow begins to fall
What a way to start the holiday for all
Imagine and dream
The Christmas Trees are all in assembly
Dancing around each other
In distance of glitter is a frozen stream
The Christmas Trees are dancing on cue
They are giving the Christmas preview
Talent at its best
Dazzle of life
The start of Christmas has turned out nice.

DANCING DREAMS OF DAMILOLA JOHNSON

DANCING DREAMS OF DAMILOLA JOHNSON

Dancing through the daffodils, bright & bold,
Damilola’s dreams in daylight unfold.
Delicate droplets of dew, glistening gold,
Delight in her laughter, a story retold.4

Daring to dream, she dives into the deep,
Dancing with destiny, her heart’s secrets keep.
Divine in her kindness, her spirit so steep,
Delivering hope where the shadows creep.8

Dynamic and dazzling, an oasis of light,
Dear Damilola Johnson jonsing the darkest nights,
Drawing the dawn of dotingness, warmth & might,
Inspiring conceived journeys that'll soar into flight.¹²

With every determined step, she shines anew,
Dancing through challenges, as only she could do.
Dami’s enduring essence, a vibrant view,
Delightfully destined for greatness & holds value.¹6

Dancing in the Clouds

Above the world, where sunlight streams,
And cotton candy clouds, like dreams,
I dance with wisps of silver white,
A symphony of airy light.

No gravity to hold me down,
I twirl and leap, with joyous sound,
A ballet born of sunlit air,
Where whispers of the wind, I share.

The moon, a silver orb so bright,
Looks down upon my airy flight,
And stars, like diamonds, softly gleam,
As I perform this celestial dream.

With every turn, a new delight,
A whirlwind of pure, ethereal light,
I dance among the clouds so high,
A spirit free, beneath the sky.

And when the dawn begins to break,
I leave this dance, for earth's own sake,
But in my heart, the memory stays,
Of dancing in the clouds, for endless days.

Premium MemberDancing in the Sky

Every night I fall to sleep,
and drift off into space.
but I see you in my dreams,
wearing a dress of lace.

I take your hand and kiss it,
and see the love we share,
I see the smile upon your face
and know you really care.

I raise my head and gaze into
your precious crystal eyes,
I wrap my arms around you,
and we begin to rise.

We begin to dance while we
are lifted from the ground.
I take your hand and raise it,
then twirl you around.

I must say that life is love,
for I'm in love with you.
Slowly we dance in the skies,
you are my dream come true.

Dream

I had a dream
We were so much happier than we ever were
You were holding my hand just the same
And we were dancing which we never did
You were looking at me so ever intently like you always did
And I was feeling so secure in your arms like I never did
The comfort
There wasn't any sorrow between you and I
No shadows loomed
No darkness crept
Everything felt so right as it always did between you and I
And you were better than you ever were
And I could see a path for us
We paraded the streets you and I
Hand in hand we did
And it made sense
Seemed like I had forgiven you for all the pain
But I questioned
How unlikely it was for me to walk the same road as you
I am sure I don't love you anymore
You don't mean as much as you did
I don't feel as lost without you now
Sure you had filled my universe before
Gave my life meaning and purpose
But I figured I could live without you
And I suppose that was the life lesson

Premium MemberDreams Dancing

In realms where clocks dissolve like mist,
And galaxies pirouette on strings,
My dreams take flight, a kaleidoscope kissed,
By stardust whispers, lunar flings.

Through meadows painted with lunar light,
I chase the shadows of fireflies,
Their wings are like constellations, bright,
Leading me through cosmic skies.

On rivers spun from nebulae,
I sail in boats of moonlit bone,
Past planets sculpted from reverie,
Where echoes of forgotten songs are sown.

With trees that bloom in stardust showers,
And leaves that sing in comet's fire,
I climb the stairs to Stolen Hours,
Where time itself becomes a liar.

In whispering caves of amethyst,
Where dreams like sleeping dragons lie,
I steal a kiss from the shadows,
And watch the stars paint sunrise on the sky.

So let me dance in time's embrace,
Where logic crumbles, reason sleeps,
In dreams that paint a surreal space,
Where every secret softly weeps.

For in this world of moonlit rhyme,
Where shadows whisper, stars ignite,
My soul takes flight, transcends the chime,
And dreams become the purest light.

Dancing With Reality

It was only after
She left him
That his dreams
Began to dance
With reality.

Dancing With Butterflies

"dancing with butterflies"

as day breaks with promises
butterflies gracefully shadow me
causing me to be a ballerina
dancing effortlessly by the sea
everlasting is this moment of light
forever engraved with freedom
giving me a breath of oxygen
holding the thought to carry on

I enlist and follow the dream
joining beauty of butterflies
knowing they will show the way
leading to extraordinary senses
making the sun shine and moon glow
never a hesitation or missing beat
only open windows with possibilities
placing my soul alive and free

quietly all butterflies fly away
resting knowing my spirit is whole
sprinkling their grace upon me
taking with them darkness and pain

Dancing Inthe Light

The study of the flower’s colors in the light.
While offering the feeling of delight.
Their nothing more satisfying to witness.
Then the goodness of all things.
Just imagine all the petals dancing.
How it’s meant to happen?
It’s so hard to stop glancing at each movement.
The light makes them very entrancing.
How magnificent they are expanding their petals.
Embrace the enchantment of moment while dancing.
When the sun from the planet blooms opens the flowers.
The perfume of the flower’s consumes the air.
It makes you feel as if were watching a cartoon.
As this is gift that shouldn’t be taken for granted.
