Enough of this silliness, this one's more serious
What am I saying, I'm becoming delirious
Best see a doctor, got a strange kind of malady
Hope it's not going to affect my mortality
Now let's not be silly, it's just a wee glitch
Be back with the sillies, though I'm starting to twitch
What if my serious side has turned off for good
Whenever I try, I'll smell burning wood
A chill just came over my Adonis-like body
I shudder and shake and start thinking naughty
Okay I promise to try a couple more times
Not promising nuttin', from this very strange mind
Last vestiges of a smile I've tried to erase
Are you buying my attempt to convince you I've changed
You're not buying it, still think I'm deranged?
To convince you, here's my medical report
“Cured of the sillies, but needs your support!”

What a beaut!
My mind silently, hopefully aspires,
As you made me terribly perspire,
I am now having troubles to respire.
What a healing!
As my heart cried for your uncommon love,
I was healed by the briefs of your laughs,
All along my eyes were covered with sloughs.
What a beauty!
My eyes instantly exclaimed,
Mine surely one of the many acclaims,
Going, by what your gestures proclaimed.
What a feeling!
As you made your love available for me to trust,
You instantly cured me of my past lusts,
Your love would have been the most painful I lost.

what we have heard inferred
this was the word which occurred
reassured could be cured
(with terror endured)
(while on trip we toured)
(while attending herd)
(mentioned by a bird)
(completely absurd)
(being a numb skull)
(said by when cat purred)

Having a dog saved my life
when I was a young lad
a dog bit me
and I became terrified of dogs
and to some sense still am
but then many years ago
i had a dog
a husky dog
raised as a pupy
the dog though was half wolf
hated people watching him eat
I gave the dog to my sister
as she seemed to be able
to tame his savage heart
later my wife
had a beagle
and he saved my life
when I was recovering
from a broken heal
Jason was my constant companion
during those dark days
when I was afraid
that I would die
from the staph infection
the dog was smart
compassionate
and seemed to understand me
as I talked to him all day long
and afterwards I no longer
was afraid of dogs
as they were now

The sun lit up the leaves
Like a lightbulb in the trees
As they flickered in the breeze
Nature danced to please
Peaceful sounds could be heard
Along with a happy bird
A musical concert without a word
Calmed the stress, to be cured

All Abnormalities Cured
How was my poem's initial impact?
Maybe some things it might lack;
Much imagination and creativity
Too many words in a proclivity.
My poem is bursting at the seems
Meet your needs and fulfil dreams
Exactly what you want me to share;
Will free you from sin and all despair.
You know what my poem meant
Recognizable and not incoherent
So fine friend can be rest assured
All abnormalities my poems cured.
Could not say diseases though.
On second thought maybe a
diseased mind in a temporary
state.

Her Gentle Touch That Cured His Great Ills
She graced his life and gave her very best
Erasing strife, passing every hard test
Now with his eight flying decades flown by
Death came not and he sat there asking why!
How could he live without her soft touch
He had felt great pain, but never this much
Her death had destroyed his romantic world
Into pits of hell it had his soul hurled
Each night, her love-spirit came in his dreams
He would wake alone, tears flowing in streams
Then he would beg, put me there by her side
I hate life, I am done with this hard ride
One summer night her spirit came to play
In saddest voice he begged her to stay
With bright flash, they flew to another place
To live happy, hand in hand, face to face

Behind closed doors
We constantly stroked our addictions
You got me hooked
Onto this deadly affliction
You fed my hunger
And tried to feed right back from me
You should've known it wasn't happening
I couldn't wake up
Turn off my conscience
Let my mind turn pure
Nothing but time can fix what has been lost
And it's killing me
So wake me up when I'm cured
You left me to die
When I had nothing left for you
Looking to get your fix
You ignored that I cared so much for you
With my lover now
The habit's scars are leaving a mark now
Skin to skin, my mind is breaking
I can't see the end
Turn off my conscience
Let my mind turn pure
Nothing but time can fix what has been lost
And it's killing me
So wake me up when I'm cured

I wake in a world of darkness
A child weeps
I search not for the child
Rather for the reason she weeps
A creature created
By darkness and fear
I will face and do battle
To rid this creature from her dreams
He is the spoiler of sweet dreams
They come in many forms
This one Is fierce and strong
I will not leave this world
Until he is gone
I awake to the light of day
I have succeeded
For I look at the smile on her sleeping face
Her dreams once again sweet
My Winter Rose dream sweet always

Lain in bed dreaming
of hallowed whispers
spoken in baritone harmony
Mind manifesting cries
in instrumental song
that sing soothing melodies
to my wailing heart
I'm held by a symphony
of falling teardrops
that dance
to a love like ballad
of drunken romance,
while hymns I pen,
and my crushed comforts
are captured
by cracked stanzas...
My poetic cure will
forever be tuned
in chords
of expletive
love
