Hello. I think that you, like most people, have met me.
My name is Irresponsibility, and I live up to my name.
I will never forget "The Twinkies Defense" used by
Dan White's attorneys in the double murders of
Mayor Moscone and Harvey Milk in San Francisco.

Should I be held responsible for things I do when
under the influence of sugars or other consumables?
I will neither lie, cry, nor deny that I did the things
for which I am accused. Yes, I did them. But.

But I will never take responsibility for my actions.
I ran the stop sign, but I should not have to pay the fine.
He, her, them, or they? It's okay, but certainly not Me.

Yes, I pulled the trigger, but I did not make the gun.
The government needs better laws to stop gun makers.
Indeed, I concur and consent that this confession
is in essence a concession filled with 'Buts, Howevers,
Moreovers, and of course, Whatever'; but not a 'Period'.

Yes, I'm a thief and a cheat, but it is not my fault.
The devil, his demons, and all their friends made me do it.
It is therefore not my fault, and I will not take the BLAME.
If you understood my problems, you would never BLAME me .

A shaft of light, this spine.
Bounded by bones,
draped in rottables.
Pathway of consumables,
the lone remarkable.

Still, I hold straight
the light.
Still, I insist on
this dent
this where
this place
on my cushion.

At start, spine
straight.
Incense stick
straight.

By now, spine
straight.
Incense:
tendril & ash.

Kooky Home

Surrounded by steel walls
The place that feels like home
Hours filled with stories
The sense we speak unknown

The cans have special powers
Motivation comes and goes
Behind the bars consumables
Down the gullet it goes

Chain smoking is unavoidable
When a bottle of straight is involved
The fire keeps us toasty
Cheers! To never growing old

Think of Something Light

Think of something light
Mesmerising and bright
Nothing of substance
it's hollow
Example,
that oracle of Apollo
Bountiful, abundant thrill
Painless grinding
run of the mill
Pre-digested, indulgent,
surplus protraction
More to come, this
colourful distraction
Sit, rapt,
comfortably duped
The way some giant spoon
has scooped
Chocolate mint ice cream
from your brain
Like dreams, one always
ending the same
Consumables consumed
till sleepy time
Consumable mosaic's
of the false sublime

What Was Meant

to start, eviscerating her muse
cut her up and analyze her
throw her heart into tea leaves
meat her mind and so dissect her

her depth is unfathomable
enigmatic as an ancient nation
was she down in the consumables
drinking deep the Muses libation

entrails lain out in between
what came into her head
what she inspires, what she means
how good is she in bed

what was meant of point of view
each to glean from field of meaning
seeds of inspiration equal to
what was meant and what was seeming

throw his heart into tea leaves
meat his mind and so dissect him

his depth is unfathomable
enigmatic as an ancient nation
was he down in the consumables
drinking deep the Muses libation

entrails lain out in between
what came into his head
what he inspires, what he means
how good is he in bed

what was meant of point of view
each to glean from field of meaning
seeds of inspiration equal to
what was meant and what was seeming
