I’m not much of an ogre he thought
As a chipmunk nibbled his twisted toe nail.
Nope, I like my fur fluffed and clean
And my nails…well, not painted
But neatly buffed and filed.
Damn! I hate meat. It like
Forever sticks in my teeth.
I think I’m a reincarnated vegan.
Toughen up kid!!
Grab that ogre vibe
Dinner will be anything
We can catch alive.
(worst hunting mantra ever)
An old owl shook its head
Asked its forever question:
”Who?.. are you?”
He drives me nuts
Every day
Same old question. Until…
That one day he said
“Who do you want to be?”
I confusedly answered:
“I am not sure.”
“Then go and find out”
He hooted
As silent wings
Took flight.

I rest my eyes away from you,
and I feel the grip of our
entwining vines.
I feel how tightly they hold us—
I smell the fragrance of the
monomaniac squeeze—
and I feel the grip of my vines
loosen.
I feel a wisp of cold wind—
the only real sign that you
have long passed me by
no longer growing
confusedly as one.

no need
for fig
leaves
these are
pre temptation
fruit times
hanging out
tranquilly in
touch with
well let me
think...
everything
but then IT
asked me
to name
everything
so starting
simply
i picked
this up
and then
that and
named that
this and this
that
one of many
two of many
too many
manyies but
few of any
nothing pairs
up in threes
always a he
and she but
confusedly
not knowing
why since the
lamb is laying
with the lion
having no pride
to be beside
the other lion
of course the same
about me swinging
with the chimpanzee
i should be with
that other thing
naming it
whoa man

mi Musa and i
try to speak
though confusedly
interjecting
si is si
in Espanol
in Italiano
but oui
is not we
but si
but noi
is closer
then nosotros
but most of the time
the time it takes
to take us
to a place
that makes sense
only leaves
dead cell batteries

There once was an amazing unicorn,
Whose coat was confusedly shaved and shorn,
She’s a little bit mad.
Called the barber a cad,
And was a moment, a little forlorn.

The flashy, thunderous announcement
of your unexpected visit on the hot summer day
scares the crap out of the pigeons in the square -
cannoning them into the air -
but soon
they are diving and gliding as they discover
that you are cool as you high-heel dance
the tarry breath out of tired and dusty roads.
But in the grasses of the park the sudden deluge
causes workers to abandon their burdens, and confusedly
hasten to save nappied babies and the queendom from flooding.
The sun worshippers temporarily abandon their religion
as they unbow their heads for a sparkling new baptism
but as their fiery god reappears, you take flight,
confetting the air with your one-word calling card:
petrichor

Let me try
To be you for a little while
And I know the lie
I might just know why, I might just know how
You need a reason to want to understand
Have you asked yourself the reason for it?
Isn’t it yourself asking for what then?
Than the person who is asking for… pleads?
How do you presume for one other’s outcome?
To even come close to experiences known otherwise?
Telling people befores and afters and taking away fun
Are ourselves not in undisguised denial in perfect disguise?
Do we not still do it anyway…
In spite of warnings and advices confusedly heeded
Will you take a yesterday to tomorrow today?
Simply… don’t we all do what was presumably needed?
Can I try?
To let you be me for a little while
Finding reasons to deny
I might just know why, I might just know how…

A sweet disorder in the dress kindles
In clothes a wantonness; a stole about
The shoulders thrown, a fine distraction; an
ErrIng Lace, which here and there enthralls the
Crimson Vest; a cuff neglectful, ribbons
Flow confusedly: a winning wave (note)
In the tempestuous petticoat: a
Careless shoe-string, in whose tie I see a
Wild civility: does more bewitch me,
Than Art when too precise in ev'ry part.

Every word has been spoken
All evidences have been collated
The premises are known already
False witnesses are withdrawn long ago
Destructive critics cannot blow
See constructive appraisers long for your flow
Now what…
Ancestors are eagerly waiting
Waiting that you may use them for knowledge
…their glory, success and failures… for knowledge sake
Posterity are confusedly hoping
Hoping that you will arise and act
To unveil their ignorance, unravel their mysteries
To solve their puzzles and ignite their passion
…passion for excellence
But here you are…undecided!
Stand now to your responsibilities
No one will decide your vision
Where is your destiny…answer!
Frivolous men, nonchalanters abound our generation
We cannot say if you are not one…
Decide!

Flowing down his cheek, perfusly,
sweat.
His attitude bleak, confusedly
windswept
In surround sound, his name,
his call to fame.
So many stories, poetry tales.
"Loves Mystical Fable"
Limited only one,
NerVouS.
He walks with pride, head up.
Composed in his
confidence.
His breath on display,
amplified.
His voice starts in disarray,
terrified.
Takes a deep breath,
okay!!!!
Smooth.
His voice crisp,
words on point.
The audience settles,
a picture forms.
Quieting the critic scorns.
They felt him.
he no longer feels meek. Inspired,
by a standing ovation.
A show again next week, he's hired
Prepare for a mental vacation!!!!!
