colorful butterfly faerie flew into the garden today
The marigolds, lilies and lilacs all leaned her way
Wanting a favor, a glimpse, a look at her gown
She had a terrific personality, and no kind of frown
She is such a beauty! The elves and dwarfs did agree.
Tomato worm never saw her; he was watching TV
The radishes and carrots tried to get her to come over.
She was adorable! said the cat and an old dog named Rover.
Colorful butterfly faerie told them she would be back soon.
She had promised a relative she would meet them on the moon.
As she flew away, the garden waved and yelled out good-byes.
Within minutes she had entered a large cloud up in the skies.

“When life traverses the path of pathos the beguiled birds fly to
show the course out of the feeling of being abandoned”
– Quote by Poet
If in the flushing garden path you walk entranced forlorn,
the scarlet sun of the dawn’s seraphic sky embraces you,
you’ll see my heart in the lilac lines of cloud up above,
there you won’t be lonely, for I won’t ever leave you.
If on the waves of the desert dunes you trudge desolate,
trace the melting mirage to the sundown hazy horizon,
you’ll reach the verdant oasis sprawling in my olive heart,
there you won’t be lonesome, for I won’t ever desert you.
If on the golden sands of the satin beach you pace alone,
the rolling waves adorn pearly lattice on your ivory feet,
you’ll feel my heart’s cadence in the cascade of moonbeam,
there you won’t be lost, for I won’t ever forsake you.
If on the surging stream of boundless love you float adrift,
meander the unanchored life on the plateau of yearning,
you’ll hear in murmuring ripples the symphony of my heart,
there you won’t be dismayed, for I won’t ever abandon you.

Whatever happens on the storm-tossed way,
Whatever happens to cloud up the day,
Whatever happens to cause me dismay~
I have Jesus.
Jesus, The One Who quiets the sea
Jesus, The One Who makes the clouds flee,
Jesus, The One Who brings hope to me~
I have Jesus.

Saturday nights in Haskell was always a battle,
some thought Ruff might be “all hat and no Cattle”.
He oft searched for Jack to settle some long ago spat,
Ruff was bigger “than a boarding house cat”.
Tom you ask, once more, how big was the other?
“so big he looked like he ate his brother”.
But an altercation with Jack some saw as a toss up,
for Jack was said to be “Faster than small town gossip”.
Everyone feared Jack and with him built rapport,
though he was not “the sharpest knife in the drawer”.
They both started drinking upon leaving the house,
and soon, both appeared “drunk as a meadow mouse”.
At times I’ve seen both acting just like some smurf,
thoroughly “confused as a goat on AstroTurf”.
The fights they had got them no gold buckles,
but sometimes “it would just cloud up and rain knuckles”.
Back then I was plain stupid without a disguise,
“and so narrow minded I could look through
a keyhole with both eyes”.
God is good!

Paint a picture of a mountain scene with colors of autumn a glow
Paint in white, the highest peak, first of a winter snow
Then somewhere in the distance, the hint of a waterfall,
let it cascade down into a little creek, on the bank, a rotting log
Let the leaves fall from the trees in shades of gold and red
The wisp of a cloud up high and paint an eagle over head
Paint the shimmer of reflection in the quiet shade of a pool,
The ripple of a brook- trout, as it looks for a minnow school
Then paint the rays of the sun, as they steal through limbs of black and brown
Creating little spots of shade that play with leaves on the ground
Down at the bottom, sign your name with pride for all to see
For you are to paint God’s Creation, what an honor that will be

Coffee Shop For Thoughts
Stop forcing your thoughts into my mind;
I have enough of my own in there.
It’s not a coffee shop for thoughts from everyone;
I’m trying to keep my mind in line.
Daily your thoughts cloud up my mind’s sky
Where was sunshine, blueness, soft white clouds.
But, you want to turn it all gloomy with cold rain,
Stormy winds and inclement weather.
Go and take your evil thoughts away.
Spread them where willing people care not
If they do right or they do wrong following you.
But, in my life I certainly care!

If in the flushing garden path you walk entranced forlorn,
the purple sun of the dawn’s seraphic sky embraces you,
you’ll see my heart in the crimson lines of cloud up above,
there you won’t be lonely, for I won’t ever leave you.
If on the waves of the desert dunes you trudge desolate,
trace the melting mirage to the sundown hazy horizon,
you’ll reach the verdant oasis sprawling in my olive heart,
there you won’t be lonesome, for I won’t ever desert you.
If on the golden sands of the satin beach you pace alone,
the rolling waves adorn pearly lattice on your lissom feet,
you’ll feel my heart’s cadence in the cascade of moonbeam,
there you won’t be lost, for I won’t ever forsake you.
If on the surging stream of boundless love you float adrift,
meander the unanchored life on the plateau of yearning,
you’ll hear in murmuring ripples the symphony of my heart,
there you won’t be dismayed, for I won’t ever disown you.

When I see my day in chunks of fifteen minutes
It’s impossible to feel overwhelmed
I feel blessed with newfound freedom
Take a bath
Read a few pages
Walk to the corner of the street
Take in a few sunrays
Stop and listen to a bird chant
Take a photo or two of an awesome bloom
Appreciate the cloud up in the sky
Marvel at the ant’s herculean feat at my feet
Give a quick call to my mom
Take a few deep breaths outdoors
Sketch the graceful lines of an orchid
Count the raindrops as they hit my window
Dance to a favorite song
Call a friend
Hug my lover
When I see my day in chunks of fifteen minutes
It’s impossible to feel overwhelmed
And I feel blessed

Cloud up my sky
Like it's August once again
Tear up my eye
With your beauty and your pain
Kiss me butterfly
And watch my lonesomeness wane
Because thoughts of you gives me a sigh
And makes my feelings remain
Go ahead and ask me why
I smile when I hear your name
It's all because you are my high
And you drive me insane
Please don't give me that eye
Because we're one and the same
And for you I'd lie
In the pool of poetry and fame

Form: I do not know?
I am in a petootsie mootsie cutsey mood today.
No one can take this from me in any kind of way.
So watch out, because no matter how mad you are
I am a princess of fun and happiness today, a shining star.
No matter how many spider web wrinkles are on your face,
You cannot put me in any kind of terrible awful place.
No matter how ugly your behavior is, I do not care.
You can toss your angry navy blue cloud up in my air.
You can do what you can, but I cannot feel you today.
You cannot take my petootsie mootsie cutsey attitude away.
I am twirling, and girl-ing, happy, slappy, so do not waste your snappy.
I am glowing today, writing poetry, painting canvases, extremely happy.
Whatever you do, I know is not directed toward me.
You can be as nasty and hateful as you want to be,
I am a happiness queen, my heart is light, I am loving life,
I do not care; I do not even notice your stress or strife.
I am all about my joy today, feeding it in the best of ways.
I will remember this day here on out, ‘til the end of my days.
Do not even try to get me down, for wasting your time you will be.
I am the petootsie mootsie cutesy me today, my own happy little me.

A-im at the fresh morning,
S-ee the white cloud up high;
U-nderneath the blue lane,
N-o rain will fall from the sky.
C-old chill of the night
I-s left in the evening;
O-ne warm light will give
N-othing but fresh morning.

E-leventh March makes a start;
L-et the rapture remain
I-nside the core of your heart.
C-oal cloud up above
I-s just nowhere to find;
A-llow the mirth to stay deep inside your mind.

R-ise of the sun begins,
U-nderneath the blue sky;
T-uesday twenty-first February
H-as met the cloud up high.
A-llow the rain to stop,
N-ight chill fades away;
G-leams give gladness,
U-sing the light of day.
L-et the twilight end, let the breeze soothe your soul;
O-pen your eyes to the nature, the Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

R-ain has stopped falling
O-n March twenty-fifth day;
S-un is beginning to rise;
E-vening chill has gone away.
A-nother morn has broken,
N-ew dawn is now shining;
N-o longer I see the dusk and twilight of the evening.
G-ray clouds have disappeared,
O-nly when clime turns fair;
N-ight darkness is over,
Z-ero haze floats in the air.
A-fter the storm has faded,
L-ight in the sky turns bright;
E-arly mist passes from view,
S-hadows are nowhere in sight.
E-very cloud up above,
S-ilver lining is in there;
C-limb the highest hill
A-s you can make it anywhere.
L-ose not standing your ground,
A-im for sparkling victory;
N-ot for a moment must you quit
T-o reach the
E-nd of journey.
