Premium MemberSantas Village

Santa’s village was on the edge of reconstruction and renovation.
the elves were excited, they held a parade and massive celebration.
Electronics, cell phones and I-pads are sought by children of today.
The workshop was full of antiquated equipment to toss away.

No one wanted wooden blocks or dolls that talk or wiggle.
They still had a filing cabinet of Barbie dolls that had a giggle.
Super hero items are now the absolute must-have rage.
They needed to delete obsolete toys that never reached a finished stage.

Santa’s reindeers were dancing around all joyful too.
They were on permanent break, for deliveries now came through Lou.
Lou was the head elf, and a big proponent of Amazon Prime.
So the reindeers could lay around and dine, all of the time.

Premium MemberCelebrating Christmas Without Going Broke

By Christmas Day each father
and mother, also known as Santa and Mrs. Claus,
should have fulfilled “Dear Santa” letters
and other wish lists. They overspend, but for a great cause!

Expensive foods, grandiose home improvements,
and decorations are added. Guests will be so impressed.
Bank balances shrink; credit cards get maxed out,
but—By George!—mom, dad, and kids will be well dressed.

Money’s nil. Overindulgent purchasers question
their sanity: “Why do we do this every year,
spend way beyond our means? Recovery takes months.”
Once again, they’ve robbed themselves of Christmas cheer.

Responsible spending transforms unrealistic views
of how the holiday season should be. We can decorate,
enjoy tasty food, and buy gifts without spending a fortune.
With Christmas in our hearts, we can sincerely celebrate.

Fireworks

They rise and sparkle and crackle,
Shaming the nakedness of the skies
And the city, with one frightful flame of
Youth,
Burning with the zest of
Seasonal lore.
At Christmas, they salute the days
Creamed by snow and sleet,
Thrusting in us the wisdom of
Global ceremonies.
They are the lightning of Yuletide —
Lightning unaccompanied by rain.
Shaped in balls and spears, and lean
Fragments of flagrant colours,
They are armed with their own thunder —
Thunder that speaks volumes and calms the rage in
Frenetic dogs.
They are coloured paints splashed lavishly across the broadest
Canvas ever —black and seamless
We see through their lens, the running dusts
Of sparks,
The dancing circus of sky-circuits
And the happy wars waged on the frontiers
Of seasons.
They strobe around the cold earth.
New Year’s Eve is riddled with conundrums,
Waking sleepy souls to sneeze up details of
A frazzled year.
The heavens are lit up lavishly,
Electrified to stupor,
Reminding us of choirs that chorus to the tunes
Of life everlasting.
Carousels ride through our minds, young now,
Old tomorrow,
With sparks that shine this moment
And dim the next.
Such is life.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Complement of the season
Christ the reason
Love the rhythm of the season
Songs of ecstacy
As we all sing joyfully aloud
Feliz navidad
A song we all like dancing to.

Alot of merriment
Enough to eat and drink
As we party hard
Smile on everyone's faces
As we converse within us
Things that merry the heart.

Jubilations
Not tribulations
Contribution to each other's joy
Not contradicting the story
As we share our testimonies
It was a showering of unconditional love.

Premium MemberX-Mas at the Local Saloon

    Porky Pig and Dairy Cow-Moon
did up X-mas at the local saloon

Where Olive Oil and Pepe le pew
had already downed more than a few

     Porky Pig and Cow-Moon
joined in by singing a tune...

    But when they courted disaster
        by all getting plastered

They were tossed out on their keisters
~ and didn’t get sober ‘til almost Easter

Christmas wishes

2024.12.24 Christmas Eve.
Dear Santa,
I admit, I have been naughty this year,
Still, here is my wish list.
A train set to keep my heart closer to my father.
A cleanable white board to Live Chat with my mother.
A battery operated sound box,
Which can record and say my word every time I want it.
Some metal boxes to keep my USB and SSD as storage.
A plush toy with a monkey face,
Who apparently has been my best mate.
Every day, I sit at the desk to surf on the internet,
May I have a surf board, to surf in the sea and get wet.
With my current family situation,
I really need some miracles and good imaginations,
A book full of tricks will be fantastic.
Better still, if I inherited some magic will be perfect.

Love from B66.

Premium MemberHOLIDAY FUN

Vacation amidst fun-filled holiday
Triumphantly spent along wondrous way
As Christmas friends bonded well
Marked with their fellowship yell:
“Rudolph, Frosty, Elf---for helping we stay!”

In their blest glow, together, gifts they share
Vibrantly exuding their gracious flair
Extending kindness with bliss
From their merry hearts’ abyss
Shouting: “Rudolph, Frosty, Elf brings God's care*!”

Singing their New Year jingles with delight
They inspire others against gloomy blight
Cheering to smite doubt and pout
Praying that in reaching-out
“We --- Rudolph, Frosty, Elf --- face freedom-flight.”

*Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

Christmas Season

Christmas season
I'm overwhelmed with the gratitude
I feel with my family
While spending it quietly
I can feel joy in small things
And I have a big heart
To thank everyone
Who has loved me so far.

You were born on a Holy Day

You were born on a Holy Day
By Michelle Morris
23/12/2024

You were born on a Holy Day
The 25th of December
And even though the babe is first
It doesn't diminish your Divine Splendour

For you are Special and Unique
You are Loved and you are Blessed
God sent you here to forge your Path
To inspire your Soul's Purpose through every Test

I know you find it difficult
I know you don't Believe
But that doesn't change the Truth
That Angels surround you in the Ethers

No matter how much you try to doubt
I'll Believe you'll eventually find your Way
That the Light will set your Spirit Free
And Guide you come what may

So as you approach your Special Day
I pray you make a Wish that's Hopeful
That the Miracle of Christmas will touch your Heart
And you'll feel its Gift in your Soul

“Jingle Bells” Tune

Mingle here
Mingle there
Mingle without doubt…
Be joyful always
Smiling against pout… Yes!

Mingle here
Mingle there
Get freed from gloomy clout…
Be blest this Christmas
Enjoy a happy route!

“Merry Christmas To You” Tune

Let’s share our blessing
With love and caring
Let’s give with heart willing
Christmas… celebrating!

“We Wish You a Merry Christmas” Tune

Our hearts now are very merry
Recalling glad Christmas story
Feasting with blissful flurry
Not feeling sorry…

Thanking God for His grace
Deserving our praise!

What to write on Christmas day

The word grateful springs to mind,
And being above ground I don't mind,
As long as I am of sound mind,
With others not having me to mind,
And me fit to children mind.

The only thing I do mind,
Is alcohol I have to mind,
Though a drop or two of baileys in my coffee,
   should not cloud my mind.
And there is some baileys chocolate to blow my mind,
So, overall Christmas stimulates my mind,
And given my age the children can mind or not mind,
As another Christmas is always on my mind,
And being being above ground I don't mind,
With another poem just for you in mind.

Hope you have only kind words in mind,
For those of unsound mind,
You have to mind,
With the spirit of Christmas in Mind.

ITS ALMOST TIME

Now that Christmas is almost upon us
I feel like I don't have to make a big fuss
No matter where you are the snow will come and the snow will go
And we all know the wind will blow
It doesn't matter every day should be Christmas
Everyone should enjoy every day of their lives
On Christmas, we received the best gift ever by Mary
No one can ever thank God enough for this precious gift
On this Christmas day, I will see all the smiling faces
And in my heart, I will always have great memories to embrace
I know deep in my heart I will see that bright star
And I will then know the family we lost
Will be watching us from afar

CHRISTMAS EFFLUVIA

Let us hear the softness, so calm
The sound of joy, peace and goodwill
Christmas lights shining in the distance
Reminding us of God's wonderful existence
Flowing free in the glorious song of heaven
Melody that displays hope, faith and love, strong beauty
