Such chatter, everywhere chatter.
Bring a clean slate to the boardroom.
Waving spray paint she’s in full bloom,
pausing noise with the real matter.

Truth served on that silver platter,
she swept up the buzz with her broom.
Such chatter, everywhere chatter.
Bring a clean slate to the boardroom.

Terms come apart with a scatter,
which causes this deafening boom.
Her color scheme is no costume,
there’s no trace of the mad hatter.
Such chatter, everywhere chatter.

Distorted Chatter

Flames descend into my skull
Under the blade of heavens army
True to form I invade them with smiles
Silver blood and copper bones Golden flesh
Questions raised about my sanity
Demons hunted to soothe my humanity
Red gems and honey milk
Apple bird sings her song sweetly
Forbidden bird bows and greets me
Walnut cake I am an Indigo lie
Fashion the stones with many moons Yummy they despise me
Blades of Jasper and Milk Thistle coffee
Honor the call to only use my blade

Cumulus chatter
the Sun in fits of giggles,
down-to-earth magic.

Premium Member titter tatter chitter chatter

diddle-daddle idle chatter
many asked what was the matter?
he ran off to be a batter
running bases in pitter patter

bats he used would often shatter
titter tatter chitter chatter
time wasted said the now rich batter
he’s a big shot, said my cousin Datter

Premium Member Why embarass yourself?

You're not doing a stellar job
distracting me with idle chatter.

Life is not something to be ignored
and swept under a mat.
I've been living in limbo
no matter how you sugarcoat it.

Life is short and every beat matters.
Every day is another notch in the cog of time fleeting.
Life is a race to the finish line,
an obstacle course of sorts.

Ignoring the elephant in the room is
an embarassing act of cowardice.
Sometimes saying something-anything
is better than the insult of shameless pussyfooting.

Premium Member Idle Hands

a scribble here
a scribble there
my pen randomly
drawing diagrams and
spelling out words

meaningless chatter
idle artwork
mindless spilling of
thought overflow

nervous tic
kinetic outreach
mental gymnastics
creative outlet
for pent-up energy

No need indeed

Essence Poem.
No need, indeed, chaff and chatter,
Positive hocus focus, doesn't matter.

It may be just chatter
Or maybe a natter
Sometimes it’s a clatter
Of sparrows in bush.

Whatever the reason
Regardless of season
None ever lacks voice
Whether sad or rejoice.

They all stay together
Whatever the weather
If one goes elsewhere
Then others go there.

Like family and friends
Some go round the bend
But never abandoned
Always kind understanding.

Maybe we too could learn
Never others to spurn
Stay together we must
Same ‘Children of dust.’

As our teeth chatter
What we speak becomes all Greek ~

Chitter chatter bitter batter
I am trying to think
Chitter Chatter
Can I eat with you?

I turn and growl.
They leave quickly.
Chitter chatter bitter batter
Same story as yesterday and the day before
Chitter chatter bitter batter

Principal who is my boss comes in
Asks me to pick up Felon Number 6.
Have a talk, make them feel safe.
Chitter chatter.bitter batter as I walk past teacher's lunchroom
Which happens to be on the other side of the wall of my office

Felon Number 6 and I throw balls around.
We build a house. I learn everything about his family.
Chitter chatter is not as noticeable now
As I concentrate on him.

Walk him back but he runs away from me.
As usual.
I catch up to make sure he ended up in his room.
Lunch duty now. Two hundred kids and two adults.
Not fun. No one can open their milk.
No one remembers silverware.
Everyone wants to get out of their seat to chase each other.

Kindergarteners get the best of me.
I am exhausted in a mere thirty minutes.
Go back to my office.
Sit down to concentrate.
Chitter chatter bitter batter

I hate sharing this dhramned wall.
My dog ears are screaming now.
No poetry today.

cat chatters through glass
mourning dove walks on back deck
cat ready to pounce

Premium Member Mindless Chatter

Furiously the flurries fly. Attached to wall, me on phone.
My Dad makes tracks, and I wonder at the dashing of snow that cools
Mindless chatter. Aspiring flames leap from chimney, as wind moans.

Premium Member Mind Chatter

Its noisy din in silent rooms
Leaves orphaned thoughts and focus doomed.
Its silent clatter BECOMES SO LOUD
Your thoughts get lost in clamorous clouds.
It melts your mind and drowns your dreams
While ideas inside you scream unseen.
So, you daydream just to free your mind
From chatter’s clatter, unconfined
