They live like we do and look like we do.
Inside their sometimes quintessential houses
they reside oftentimes with a wife, maybe children.

They work in jobs where we might work.
Some may even be the preacher at a church.
They could be a government official.
What harm could there be in someone with great charm?

Behind the doors of their houses,
(perhaps with those proverbial white picket fences)
they probably show at least the random signs
of who they really are.
It’s likely that someone sees something
that isn’t just quite right,
yet they are adept at manipulation,
and easily, so easily, are people fooled by them.
Meanwhile, they harbor the darkest of fantasies,
and some of them will act
these fantasies out.

Somewhere in this world right now -
somewhere in a big city nearby you,
it’s very likely that a child or young woman
was lured by some sweet words
or perhaps simply and suddenly abducted.
If not beneath the ground,
they might be miserably languishing
in a dingy basement locked up
or even kept inside a box -
fodder for the whims of
the charming psychopath.

Charming Lily

Though the stem is bend
A lily has still ways
To show up its charms.

Prince Charming

Fallen angel.
Great manipulator.
Narcissistic psychopath.
Predominant pretense.
Merely existing.
Demon.
You have dishonest eyes.
And a sinister grin.
I didn't want to see this side of you.
Even When I saw the glass as half empty, you'd pour it out.
The walls went up to infinity.
Believe what you want, you said.
Your dark eyes.
Your grappling hands.
Your explosive anger.
Your word baiting.
Your mind s.
Your love bombing.
Enough with the grooming.
Enough with the coercing.
Enough with the twisting.
Enough with the manipulating.
Enough with the stories.
Enough with the fraud.
You could never make me drink.
I saw right through.
Eyes are windows to the soul after all.
When push became shove, I went on my own.
If you don't have integrity, what do you have?
Beyond everything, stay true to yourself.
The abyss.
The black hole.
The after dark.
The soulless.
The silver lining.
The light at the end of the tunnel.

My heart is a book
 filled with chapters of romance
and my prince charming

Love poetry

Poem for Mr. Romance,
Barely met him by chance,
A smile, a glow, charming
My dreams never harming,
Life happens, along the way,
He did turn back one day,
After all those years,
Eyes shine, my dears,
Shyly, I walked away,
Did not know what to say,
Keep to myself these days,
Beguiling love, it's his way,
Do his dates need mace,
Birth control, or grace?
Loving hearts, forever young,
Happy brains, so much fun!

Premium Member Frog Charming

She kissed a frog
and got no Prince
that so sad Princess sweet.
But still it quickened
her palad pulse
and her heart it skipped a beat.

Do not judge,
Frog had his charms
he was a clever chap.
One kiss it’s true,
love ruled the day.
Frog hopped upon her lap.

Their wedding strange,
there by his pond.
Her Castle up the hill.
The Frog you see
had cast his spell,
the Princess lost her will.

To the Castle,
the couple climbed.
A luxurious place to stay.
A talking frog,
with glowing green skin,
had somehow won the day.

French frogs philander,
he could not stop.
Our Froggy caught in the act.
Back to the pond,
annulment too,
Frog’s spell was finally cracked.

The Princess cried
“How could it be?
I loved you with my whole heart.”
He responded with beguiling smile,
“It seems we both must part!”

Annabelles Charm

In an urban street I met a girl
her name was Annabelle,
she was alone a jolly soul
with a happy tale to tell.
She stood so tall
a precious pearl
with a hat of golden locks,
her eyes were blue
with many hue
just like a marble rock.

There was no girl lovely and fair
than sweet Annabelle,
she lived in peace
in modern Greece
on the side of a rocky hill.
Beware,
a voice did say,
of Annabelles stylish charm,
she’ll take your breath away
but cause your heart no harm.

In search of fame
she felt a flame
burning in her heart,
her golden voice
gave me no choice
but to love her from the start.
Her voice was sweet and soft
as tunes from a golden harp,
her notes were high in pitch
where symbols marked are sharp.

She sang with love and passion
waving her gentle hand,
as music softly floated
around her place of stand.
Her rhyming words were touching
and moved a solid heart,
her matching looks were stunning,
an endless piece of art.

A picnic basket I will bring
Inside will be most everything
I know you like, and also more
I'll pick to try from favorite store

A picnic blanket where we'll sit
The grass so green, your hair sunlit
I'll lay straight back upon one arm
And take you in, all of your charm

The attributes that you imbue
They turn me upside down, it's true
I'm not a silly goose you see
It's really your effect on me

The afternoon, a lazy day
Spent just with you, no work, all play
And it will still get better yet
It won't be long until sunset

Premium Member Pining for Purple Peace

He says I’m beautiful but does he see
The pains of my heart the shuffle of my feet
The rains of dark mysteries of my inner beasts
That torture my my mind when I thirst for peace

I told him about my denim disabilities
Was quite shocked that he is not running
Seems this man’s finds in me his queen
And in him could be king my Prince Charming

I say could because life is no dream
I am not as gullible as I seem
Just because we find in ourselves esteem
And want a mate to place a ring

Oh how do we know what God means
When free will is real and we choose many things
I’m a free spirit and this love is green
Not that I fear it but I’m not trusting

Not ready to say I do anything
Not willing to melt into his dream
Of a life a wife a diamond wearing queen
Perhaps I am too free God must call me

For I wrestle with the winds of destiny
And ancestors call in the red floral breeze
I’m a southern woman who loves and needs
A great deal of passion planting my purple peace.

there once was a prince who was charming
his good looks were not at all alarming
	he had the flaming hots
	for a maiden ersatz
he nonetheless found her disarming

Premium Member How Charming Can I Be

Want you all to know how charming I can be
But must hold back or you'll succumb don't you see
It's for your own good
More open I would
But fear your advances would be too much for me
