Annabelles Charm

In an urban street I met a girl
her name was Annabelle,
she was alone a jolly soul
with a happy tale to tell.
She stood so tall
a precious pearl
with a hat of golden locks,
her eyes were blue
with many hue
just like a marble rock.

There was no girl lovely and fair
than sweet Annabelle,
she lived in peace
in modern Greece
on the side of a rocky hill.
Beware,
a voice did say,
of Annabelles stylish charm,
she’ll take your breath away
but cause your heart no harm.

In search of fame
she felt a flame
burning in her heart,
her golden voice
gave me no choice
but to love her from the start.
Her voice was sweet and soft
as tunes from a golden harp,
her notes were high in pitch
where symbols marked are sharp.

She sang with love and passion
waving her gentle hand,
as music softly floated
around her place of stand.
Her rhyming words were touching
and moved a solid heart,
her matching looks were stunning,
an endless piece of art.
