I saw him put sand on the epoxy rosined floor 
to create a sound when he Tap Danced.
It was his way of helping up
create a sound a melody and beat.
It worked we did several Compositions from
this feat.

- Our Son Daniel -

  Daniel is a "different" child
  The doctors said he might just be a slow starter
  Daniel had something unfamiliar and different facial features
  He ate poorly and was fed through a tube
  There were many worries and hospital visits

  Six months passed before he received his diagnosis
  Daniel had Williams syndrome
  A rare, congenital condition characterized by
  a characteristic appearance, 
  developmental defects in the cardiovascular system,
  reduced growth and developmental disabilities
  As parents we had many questions
  It was a roller coaster for a long time

  Today Daniel is eleven years, a joyful boy
  who loves to draw, dance and listen to music
  Our son is a loving and cheerful boy
  - let the "different" children shine
  They are good enough – more than good enough

aphoristic in nature
pithy  never uncouth
often times  rhyming
  with a short bitter truth 

..yet
humorous heartfelt  
characterized by irony
               &  paradoxical brevity
oftimes
 precise using sophisticated
 rhythms & rhymes 

   more often like this

a satire..
of which many 
   . .....never will tire

Anxiety

Anxiety
A mental condition characterized by excessive apprehensiveness about real or perceived threats
Anxiety is such a fickle thing
It can wrap around my throat like a noose, choking me until I am unable to breathe
Or it can hide in the background, whispering poison thoughts in my ear, tainting every situation with distress and uncertainty
But no matter the form it takes, it never leaves me
My constant companion
An unwilling partnership forged in memories I have lost to time
It has been around in all my biggest moments
There for every low and every high
In every memory, leaching the color from my successes
Darkening the shadows of my failures
Anxiety is the chains that keep me locked in my own mind
Never truly me
I am only the carefully curated picture my anxiety paints, and allows the world to see 
Do I even exist without anxiety?

Among crimson flowers
and sunsets in brushed calendulas
My imagination will not be denied
even though I am scared and alone
among the fallen ribbons
Where grief is a heavy chain
Iron reflects on innocent earth

Weep - silent tears at the grave
- set the angels free

An angel chiseled in shining white marble
Characterized by silence
Weep as a thin veil,
otherworldly beauty in a blessed resting place
Seeking comfort under own wings
A divine place for tears and prayer
which brings sanity back to normal level

    a fresh start to the day
    Every now and then
    we all need impulses

*though i fit the alliteration'z title
here to suit mine eccentric(artistic license),
i'll mention: psyhcogenic movement iz a rare 
neurologic disease characterized by the 
manifestation of an underlying psychiatric 
illness.

Bells

Multitudinous bells secern the tones
as may resound sharp bamboo xylophones.

Pulchritudinous bells have rhythmic ding,
others that linger with tedious ring.

Some little bells can echo a jingle
that surely bestow a Christmas tingle.

Quite many bells ting melodious chime
prompting our schedule's punctilious time.

A carillons' unique, harmonized bells
swing from gentleness to overtone swells.

Suspended bronze discs reach resonant gongs,
characterized by gregarious songs.

A bittersweet bell that distantly tolls
announces angelic release of souls.

- The Last Organ Grinder -

    The young mother died,
    before she could hold her newborn child
    Paternity was unknown
    the secret his mother had never shared
    The boy was cradled in the arms of his grandmother
    they were aged poor people in the countryside
    a few chickens and four cows in the barn were all they had

                              no prosperity
                    gossiping at the child's birth -
                          bite thy sinful tongue

    Characterized by tight finances and little food
    The grandfather found hope in the hopeless
    The economy needed a boost
    In the wood shed he found the antique organ grinder
    Polished it shiny and gave it fresh colors
    Life was not meant to be lived in wealth
    the organ pipes were still breathing …
    gave hope for a simpler everyday life
    Every afternoon he took it on his back
    and went his way with heavy steps
    it was jingling coin that drew him
    ... a shame to live on alms

                             daily health and toil
                   the poor man's pride and honour -
                            hope in his tired eyes

- Hearing -

      With fluttering ears
      a sound that no one else hears -
      the feeling is stuck

  It might have been the wind
  a pain and sadness that mocks us all
  the voice was speaking to me from within
  As the branches of the trees sway,
  a voltage by electrical reverberation
  The sound disturbed the animal's hearing
  shadows of eyes, teeth and claws
  my foolish straining of sensitive senses

      Yesterday's vision
      climb back to its destiny -
      haunting, empty pain

  The connections between the present and the past
  Characterized by a larger objective,
  the gods might have for them
  Ancestral heritage that remains rooted in memories
  Could that be you I'm hearing?
  The bells of the past ring the echo of solitude
  unjust is the last word of the sentence
  - no life goes in silence
  Walking past the moon, will listen to the dawn

      Blindness in the dark
      echo sound in the ears -
      have listened and sung

Colored checkered patterns
Dashing vibrant colors
Hand woven cloth strips
Dazzling geometric shapes.

Characterized weft designs
Vivid eye appealing texture
Ghana’s national cloth
Royals favorite outfit.

From coast of western Africa
An indigenous local brand
Handed from Ages to Ages
Maiden style left intact.

Renowned across borders
for its alluring tapestry marvels
Its cherished history staggers
Our obroni folks adore it.

Oh yes Africans just love it.
So get a piece of kente that befit
with its uniquely native patterns
And lets celebrate and project.

This is our heritage our culture our tradition.
This is Ghana’s premium kente
The Golden cloth from the midlands.

To One No More Lionized

If you were much lionized
Later no more recognized
Or by some men demonized
Would it leave you traumatized,
Judge it a foul play dramatized;
Have the actors stigmatized:
As Satan characterized?

You must not try the dreadful:
To fight them or other frightful!
Put up you should the easeful
That makes painless the painful…

Your arch smiles now the stylized,
Your movement systematized,
Time for Apps digitalized,
