Let’s crack down
On the cracked brained crackpot
Lunatic ideas that are certifiably crackers
Screwball cuckoo nuts and such ways
Sure, his is crafty and cunning
A nonsensical narcissist
Mad in a somber maniacal manner
But wait say the dupable, we want this despot
We voted for him -anything is better than a woman
Besides, we enjoy his despicable bullying ways

My bones can be broken by stones and sticks,
But cruel words can also get in their licks.
At times, it's more than bones that take a hit -
Other parts are vulnerable, I admit.
Sadly, words can even break my brain,
Rendering me certifiably insane.
Yet, far worse than that, for heaven's sake,
Sometimes, they cause my heart to break.

When I take the time to contemplate
this awareness that is me
I marvel at the mystery
that makes this statement true
“I am simultaneously
both me
and the one that is contemplating me”
that which is doing the contemplating
is the very thing being contemplated
how objective can it then be
to consider an opinion
if that opinion
is about the one
whose opinion it is
I wonder if that
is the reason why
we shake our heads in wonder
and deem ourselves to be
innately
certifiably
just a teeny bit
around the bend.

There is much in life about which we cannot be certain.
What really happens, for example, after the final curtain?
The answers are as varied as patterns in a kaleidoscope.
Alive-minded mortals favor a few. citing faith, fear, hope.
I long to be certain about what on earth is certifiably true.
Is it a lover’s pledge of eternal devotion? I wish I knew.
Do the far reaches of this universe have, in fact, no end?
That idea swivels the mind, too much to comprehend.
Still isn’t it enchanting to question, quiz, and wonder
what this great drama is about before we go asunder?

I dunno ‘bout that doc,
some brain study you say
be rock-solid science true
That playing video can make
a kid go plum crazy
You describing Mrs. Tenchey,
my ‘round the block neighbor,
it sounds like to me
But that old lady don’t play no video
She just plays her radio,
and watches a lot of TV
Now her behavior is certifiable fo’ sho’
Strange and bizarre
She likes talking to the neighbors’ cars:
says they told her, them mean mechanics
be mistreating them
Trying to put a fixing hurt on them
She be out protesting the sushi bars too:
says the po’ seaweeds are in danger
of losing their global eco-green card status
That the gov’ment is using some newfangled
ocean apparatus,
which is making the dolphins go bonkers
Doc, even you gotta admit,
that’s Flipper crazy ...
certifiably so —
Certifiable, no?!

The Similarities,
Between He And Me:
I just realized recently,
a sort of light bulb moment epiphany,
that this young man, a legendary figure of history,
shares a lot in common with yours truly,
which is possibly why he has always been of great interest to me.
He has an undeserved reputation as an outlaw by the majority,
and I have gained an unfair reputation as being certifiably crazy.
Both he and I are willing to risk our lives for what we believe.
Both he and I have gone up against an adversary almost impossible to win,
(me against my corrupt government, and he against the corrupt Santa Fe Ring).
Also, coincidently we both share the same first name.
Who is he?
Any guesses? Anybody?
Oh yes, one more thing, how forgetful of me,
both he and I can exude charm like you wouldn't believe.

oh what a wonderful group we make
as we pen our poems and take a break
our traits range from weird to strange
in all probability certifiably deranged
leaving legacies of genius in our wake

I recently met my perfect woman.
We came together in a mental health sanitarium.
Both being certifiably crazy, it was a match made in heaven,
but today presently my perfect woman is gone.
After receiving mass doses of medication,
I realized that our relationship was but a delusion.
It turns out that my perfect woman was an hallucination.
I plan on discontinuing my medication
because I miss her dearly and want to see her again.
Such is the quandary of an obvious mad man.

Multiple Personality Disorder (MPD)
is no longer correct politically.
The correct term being used presently
is Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
Please make a note of it if you please
or you'll offend my alter personalities.
Yes it's plain for all to see.
Yours truly is crazy certifiably.

I am inflicted with MPD,
a mental disorder whereupon I live separate and unique individual personalities.
I am here to declare to all of you the truth (or I may be screwing with you maybe)
BILLYtheKidster is also The Poet Destroyer aka P D.
So in essence I CRUSHED myself basically.
I wonder what kind of comment P D, aka me, will leave yours truly, also aka me.
One thing's for sure, BILLYtheKidster, aka Poet Destroyer, aka P D
are all most certainly certifiably insane to a very high fun loving degree.
