Premium Member With The Fork And Knife

When you come to my home for a visit,
would you like a fork and knife,
while eating your cel phone ?

Premium Member DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

Rampancy is AI's path to gaining humanity, don't let it happen to you.

Viruses of rampancy, people of complacency
artificial stupidity and tendency of reliency
Power of data trumping over human concurrency
supraventricular electrical impulses, non-consistency !

Keypad touch, mobile infancy absorbing frequency
we are lost in the path of dependency
A colony of monotonous beings, unilateral efficiency
communicative only on screen the act of flippancy

The soul and heart of us have lost their tendency
to communicate with word proficiency
We have become sedentary, lost in robotic Influency
and our cel phone is a continuous absorbency

Don't let this artificial world cause you despondency
your spirit is in an urgent state of emergency
Unplug, go meet nature and lose your dependency
talk to one another and give computers less occupancy.

Premium Member Guess What ? I Have Internet !

I am a mouse and I can hide most anywhere
behind your walls I sleep and snore
like a little squiggly tot without a care
I am a mouse and I don't care who knows it

I am a mouse who loves to nest and burrow
inside a cluttered house quite often ignored
like the fluffy dust settled beneath your table
I am a mouse with a passion for cables

I am a mouse with a slightly pointed nose
often I avoid your traps and poisoned bait
eating most anything you leave behind
I am a mouse and I live like a Sovereign King

inside your basement, behind the cabinet, I found
an old cel phone and guess what?... I got internet !

Premium Member You Know Me

YOU KNOW ME
When I stop and think about it, "you astound me"
Because You, know me.
You knew me before I was a minuscule living cel
imbedded in the walls of a pre-destined womb
Before You brought me forth, "You knew me"
Before all fears, strengths and frailties "You knew me"
You all knowing God, seeing so much more
in me then I could see for myself, "You know me"
It takes my breath away, the fact that you " Know Me"
I am grateful that I don't need to worry about being
miss-construed or mis-understood...by You.
I literally relish the fact that I never have to defend
myself to You...nor...take the time to explain anything;
I can enter into Your presence without making a sound
assured that You hear every word I do not utter
You will always be a mystery to me,
I do not comprehend the sum of you but then again,
I am content to know that "YOU KNOW ME"

Premium Member Black Is Beautiful

Black as the coal dust turned the faces
Of miners with pick-axes digging black gold
Black is beautiful we are constantly told,
And it is…regardless of skin-conscious races.

Black is the outline of cel frames unpainted
Before the artist fills in the blank spaces,
Before the reality of the light embraces
Purity of the soul will persist untainted.

I don't need little emoticons I need sunshine in my face
I don't need face book likes I need you over by my place

I don't need messenger chat I need a friend with skin on
I don't need cel beebs nor empty stares that say I'm gone

I don't want technology to rule my day its plastic anyway
I don't want an email to say "I'm having a baby any day"

I do want to write good poetry on a sunny beach and say,
this has been a good day cuz I haven't googled away, my day.

Premium Member Stand Up and Take Charge

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O_XbCkhK5w

I sense a truce amongst the people of this world
and though we need to practice abstinence of touch,
we can always share a kind word, through a smile;,
Yes we got cel phones, we got skype,
we are usually resourcefully, and adept.
And its when the storms of life arrive, that we find out
just how resilient we can be +
So let us show our brave, like the ancient warriors of past
and keep each other safe, through loyalty and care
We need to count our blessings, while praying for the loss
and saddle up our courage, for the days to come...
Lets pray for those who serve our Country well
and gladden our hearts ,with Patriotic swell
Yes I sense a truce, amongst the Universe at large
and yes we need to do our very best ,
stand up, and take charge.

Amen .

Covid-19 Coping

It seems to happen frequently
At least in this millennium
All the freedoms we enjoy
We now must keep to minimum

They say we must can cel our plans
And figure out why tissue
Has disappeared from grocer's shelves
When toilets aren't the issue

Was it a snake that put me in
This frantic need to sanitize
Or could a bat have sneaked one by
And caused this world to agonize?

I'd hardly think a wayward germ
Is gonna take my lungs out
But lis'ning to the MSM
My saner side will then doubt

Following the movie stars
In self-imposed restrictions
I'll give in to sequestering
And snub the contradictions

So now I wait to see what the
Stock market guys will guess at
And what my local diplomates
Will emphasize and stress that

Contamination headlines streak
Across the news like comets
I could not close this timely rhyme
Ignoring words like vomit.

Premium Member We

Beneath the salutation of stars a million people run free
most of them are in little cars, forgetting how to be
above us only skies are privy to the charms of a stars glee
with all those tiny gadgets, cel phones, & texts we don't see
how all that information, never seems to require a "WE "

Premium Member They Went On a Vacation

They went on a mini vacation…they camped under the trees
to experience the wonders of nature at the springs of Manatee.

Because they are not cave people no matter where they roam
they brought with them their iPads, their computer and I-Phones.

But technology at the campground was…how shall we say….somewhat loose.
There was no signal for their I-pad or computer, and their phones were of no use.

So they spent their days and nights walking, talking and…listening with their ears
to the symphony of nature…
they ate breakfast with the deers.

They kayaked on the river and as they lazily paddled around
there were moments when
even if they tried
they could not hear a sound.

They spent their nights by the campfire and gazing at the stars
thinking about their life together and how lucky they both are…

And though they could not use their cel phones…
their computer
or I-Pad
they both agreed it was one of the best vacations
either ever had.

Touch And See

We are a society of folded ears. We opt for our apps
through touch tone effect instead of real conversation.
We are a generation of visual selects that forgo the hearing
only to embrace tap memorandum. It works great on the optic
nerve but what does it do for the hearing workout ?
We send emoticons & floating sonic hearts but sometimes
 we need to be heard for .... R E A L ....
we need time that the computer can't steal...
. we read about our family members through the internet
. we listen to nature through the internet
it is easy to lose our equilibrium and feel like we are living
in a cyber wheel that doesn't stop.
A D D ... ANOTHER DIFINITION for it WOULD BE,
 Applicable, * Deaf *Disorder
DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU.

Premium Member Barren Solitude

I sit in this cocoon of lonely thought
re-reading all your texts and little notes
I close my cel but I am slow to blot
the words that you have sent just yesterday;
You promised me that you were here to stay
but then you sadly tore my heart 's remote,
you said you loved me but, you loved me not.
