The pretty campus damsel
Is on the rove this nigh night
She easily ropes in loaded men
As she gyrates her curvy bosom
Her Torrie's remind one of nivarna
And you can see Catalonia peaking
From the little black dress she wears
She undaunted that we are on campus
With girlies being on plentie Barbie rules
And ensnares with ease and natural charm
She's a beauty to behold and loves dances
On the dance floor she easily baits boys
Be they boys or men her nature easily snares
As long as you're pickups are loaded
You are enroute to this exiting encounter
Falcon heights are soars and shores you win
With her you will sure taste the allures of
Zamzam that beautiful city of beauty
Tasting what is the reserve of demigods
Hoping you are not eternally damned
For love is but a divine thing and sensual
Sensualized forbidden pleasures she wares
A full African figure
Is how I can describe her
The Joy of seeing her
Is it not to be found
In her leaving as they drool
Her face contemplative
And easy grace mixed with charm
A voice tantalizing as she browses
I think she is on Tiktok now..
Fala.. she jokingly calls me
When my teasing's are too much
The Joy of a platonic friend
Is to be found in altruism and loyalty
Did I mention shes from a background unrated
Joy easy is her name and being a constant friend
I desire the playful talk, flirting's, and daily teasing's

At night his Cat would Caterwaul

he knew a mighty Catamount
who went by the name of Jake.
He retired to Catalonia
where he grew Catawba grapes
but Cataplexy did him in
from which there's no escape.
With a Catafalque for his coffin
inside the Cathedral tall
they Catered in a dinner
and mourned him one and all.
Homage to Catalonia?
Policeman wielding batons or shedding a welled up tear,
Flag waving populace or staying home in fear,
State defence of self, or defending an historic lie,
Should we pay homage, or should we just weep and cry?
Turning out to vote, or disobedient serf,
Democratic abuser or defending right of birth,
Violent state repression or debating reasons why,

Hurried lines drawn on maps or quite beyond the pale,
Land up for rental or permanently for sale,
Freedom of expression or state to look and pry,
Should we pay homage, or should we just weep and cry?
Part of bigger state, or standing on your own,
Wired in kit at home, or mobile telephone,
Going with a third, or vote not home and dry,
Should we pay homage, or should we just weep and cry?

he was born in 1900 in Barcelona.
His family would later emigrate to Cuba.
He performed with the Teatro Nacional Orchestra.
Sailing to New York aboard the SS Havana,
Xavier achieved great fame in America.
He and his band opened the Waldorf-Astoria.
Nineteen-forty brought his greatest hit “Perfidia”.
Some later recordings popularized the conga,
along with other styles such as mambo and cha-cha.
Xavier Cugat maintained great popularity,
until he passed and left this world in 1990.
Among the greatest of the twentieth century,
Cugat left to later musicians a legacy.
