Premium Member You wear sadness like pearls, carefully strung between sighs

You wear sadness like pearls, carefully strung between sighs,
in a silent elegance that surrounds your neck,
as if pain were something to be worn with pride.
They marvel at your resilience, viewing it as a spectacle,
yet they never question why suffering
must be your personal signature.
They whisper about your grace, admiring your courage,
but isn't grace just another name for endurance?
My dear, you were not meant to be a showcase of survival,
a fragile glass figurine polished by the pain of time.
Take off the pearls, let them scatter across the cold floor,
for your beauty should not be built from suffering,
but from smiles and memories that embrace your soul.

A Gentle Reminder to Drive Carefully

Hey, driver, I just want you to know
That somebody loves you here below
But if you keep driving the way you do
Too fast to heaven you will get through
And that someone you thought loved you true
Will not wait long to marry someone new.

Early morn
          Two wide-set yellow eyes
            Peek through cobalt blue
              Remnants of last night's rain
                Wonderful water for all the plants and animals

Across the way
  Four lovely cedars or Cyprus stand
    Like sentinels guarding the road
      Lovely silvery green shines
        Washed and still wet with rain

Two mockingbirds
  Sing so joyfuly one to my left
    The other one to my right
      I wonder what they are discussing
        Responsibilities of parenthood or politics

The clouds
  Seem to be dissipating
    Or the sun has risen higher or a little of both
      I am wondering if there will be more rain today or will last night's shower
        Be all that we get, of course, we could use a little more

Soaking up
  The cool, damp, quiet
    The small amount of the morn that I can enjoy
      Out on the porch
         Each second so precious

Close my eyes
   Listen carefully
     Perhaps I can catch
       An elusive susurrus of nature to carry through the day
         Filled with positive emotions, help me make it God

Step Carefully

The naive garden
is filled with snakes
To slither and nest
—where ignorance waits

Premium Member Listen Very Carefully Allow Him To Come Into Your Heart of Hearts Jesus-

Brother you need to listen;
Listen to the image of God within your ears;
Allow Him to whisper sweet tender thoughts;
Allow Him to come into your heart of hearts;

Sister you need a vision;
Listen to the blinking of your eyes;
Allow the look of thee Lord to be your vision;
Allow Jesus Christ the Son to help you in your decisions;

So we must listen
Yes, we must listen
Very, very carefully

We must listen of the truth
To the truth we have heard,
or we may drift away from it

So we must listen
Yes, we must listen
Very, very carefully

Brother you need to listen;
Listen to the image of God within your ears;
Allow Him to whisper sweet tender thoughts;
Allow Him to come into your heart of hearts;

Sister you need a vision;
Listen to the blinking of your eyes;
Allow the look of thee Lord to be your vision;
Allow Jesus Christ the Son to help you in your decisions;

So we must listen
Yes, we must listen
Very, very carefully
Allow the look of thee Lord to be your vision;
Allow Jesus Christ the Son to help you in your decisions;

Premium Member Feelings Carefully Disguised

Scrambled emotions masquerade among ourselves
Greed pretends to be concern for others
Sadness wears a well-placed anger mask
Feelings disguised cannot be used against us, right?
We insist upon our little charades, thinking we are fooling you.
Believing our true emotions are hidden,
Because we are not sure who to trust
And we have been betrayed by other mask-wearers
We let very few people into our mindset, maybe one
To peer behind our façade is a rare honor

Premium Member Choosing Your Friends Carefully - Proverbs 12: 25-28

Anxiety is a depressive thing
it tears to shred our very heart
but to hear just one living word
brings one gladness not just a part

Be careful when choosing your friends
for you are righteous so do right
reject counsel from the wicked
for it'll lead you astray into the night

Never be labelled as being lazy
it leaves a bad reputation by far
make sure to be diligent always
precious this is above any star

Make sure to live in righteousness
there you experience eternal life
walk in that pathway continually
God's looks on, he's sharp as a knife

God's instructions are for your best
His ways forever will endure
He sees the end from the start
perfectly wise is our God as He's pure

('Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down,
    but a good word makes him glad.
 One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor,
    but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
 Whoever is slothful will not roast his game,
    but the diligent man will get precious wealth.
 In the path of righteousness is life,
    and in its pathway, there is no death.')

Proverbs 12: 25-28 ESV

Listen Carefully

Listen carefully.

Embrace the tree, for it has been a century in the making.
Use kindly words when you need to speak,
For their thoughts may well be illuminating.

Relax your shoulders and forget your jobs.
You are never too busy to find the time.
A hand shake is a form of smile.
A happy friend of mine.

Do not be an ice cave,
To their new age ways,
They could teach you a thing or two.
Take off your shoes,
Put on your sandals,
Wear a tie-dye t-shirt in place of your suit.

Connect with Earth
And find your inner peace.
If you are not willing to listen,
Then you will never hear your heart speak.

Love You Babe

I STOOD TO HEAR
THAN MUST I ANWSER
THE WORDS OF HIM
TO COUPLE US

SOME WERE OPPOSSED
THEY WERE IN OPPOSITION
THEY WISHED THAT WE
WOULD BE DIVIDED
THEY SAID LOVE
IT DIDNOT EXSIST

I SEE THESE FOLK
AND IT MAKES ME WONDER
WHAT MAKE A MAN
TO BE NEVER LOVED

I THANK GOD
THAT SHE DID ANWSER
SHE BECAME MY WIFE
CAUSE WERE IN LOVE

Live Carefully

Just live your life
You can make an impact
Take things one step at a time
And that is a fact
Obscurity may show its face
Along with travails and pitfalls
Go through that hazardous fire
And stand up tall

Premium Member Guard Your Thoughts Carefully -Proverbs 4: 23

Many indeed are our thoughts daily
so many that they've so hard to count
our minds runs away with itself
hold on hold fast up the mount

So be guarded on all our thoughts
fill your minds with all of God's word
take it in daily digesting all it says
then your soul would be suitably stirred

All of the scriptures contain God to the full
this is where you receive all that's divine
it makes good sense to steep right in
sanctify your mind in God a sure sign

Our thoughts really do run our life
it's ultra expedient you have it in control
so to think always what's good and true
making sure they're your number one goal

God has given us a mind to think
fill it with what makes us wise
hold on to all of that real wisdom
then we'll see our life really rise

('Keep your heart with all vigilance,
   for from it flow the springs of life.')
Proverbs 4: 23 (ESV)

Be Cautious and Live Your Life Carefully

Be cautious and live your life carefully
In the blink of an eye things can change
Fickle and unpredictable
You may need to stay above the range
Enjoy the journey as time passes on through
Make the best of everything that you may face
Each new day will bring another challenge
Embrace it as you travel along with grace
