Choosing Your Friends Carefully - Proverbs 12: 25-28
Anxiety is a depressive thing
it tears to shred our very heart
but to hear just one living word
brings one gladness not just a part
Be careful when choosing your friends
for you are righteous so do right
reject counsel from the wicked
for it'll lead you astray into the night
Never be labelled as being lazy
it leaves a bad reputation by far
make sure to be diligent always
precious this is above any star
Make sure to live in righteousness
there you experience eternal life
walk in that pathway continually
God's looks on, he's sharp as a knife
God's instructions are for your best
His ways forever will endure
He sees the end from the start
perfectly wise is our God as He's pure
('Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down,
but a good word makes him glad.
One who is righteous is a guide to his neighbor,
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Whoever is slothful will not roast his game,
but the diligent man will get precious wealth.
In the path of righteousness is life,
and in its pathway, there is no death.')
