Feline Foibles

I have a cat
(or a cat has me),
a furry cat, a very purry cat
when on my lap it's sat,
independent it is
(egotistical too),
yet demands attention
(self-centred through and through),
and when well-fed, its purr

is full of condescension,
when behind its ears you scratch
(it's expected of you),

She was a force to be admired and feared at the bowling alley
We stood back and watched, shocked by the ways of Mallie.

SUPER BOWL BOUND

The roar of the crowd, a sea of red,

A kingdom united, hearts and heads.

Mahomes' magic, a dazzling sight,

And Soaring through the air, with all his might.

The Kansas City Chiefs, a team of fire,

Their passion burns, reaching ever higher.

Through trials they fought, with grit and grace,

Now victory's smile lights up each face.

To New Orleans they journey,

Insatiable bowl

Fury of cage,
Forbade him from rage.
For he knew he was in pain,
Which gave him joy from the sorrowest gains.
Deemed to be horrid,
Demise from torrid.
He was slandered,
For the world’s a foul stage.
Scowled, dreaded, hated,
For the lack of unamounted goal.
Jokes, what happens to you’re bowl,
When you chose to find beauty in horrid ghouls.

    On his way to another Super Bowl

21/2cups of flour( self rising)
2 tablespoons of cornstarch
2 whole eggs+ 1 yolk
2 Tablespoons of lemon juice
1 Tablespoon of Gin
1/2 Teaspoon of lemon zest
1 cup of bread crumbs
1 &1/2 cup of buttermilk
1 Tablespoon of cayenne pepper
2 tablespoon of dried chives
