Premium Member Israel Bounces Back Stronger

To all the folks who curse the Jews
in the end, they will lose

         Israel always bounces back stronger
~ curses serving to prolong her

Premium Member I'm tired of the way the ball always bounces

I'm tired of the way the ball always bounces,
and of gaining pounds while only eating ounces,
tired that for every one step forward, there's two steps back,
and that my glass is always half empty because of the crack,
and tired of that poetry teacher ~ who my name perpetually mispronounces.

Premium Member Killing Me Slowly

You are always on my mind
Like a virus eating away my soul
The more I try to get you
Out and be free the more
You gnaw at my resistance
Tormenting me day and night
I try gently to ease you out
I try violently to oust you
From my veins
But every effort bounces back
Why are you so cruel to me?
You swore you love me no more
You claim we had nothing going on
Please free me and let me go
Refrain from killing me slowly

Premium Member Bounces

Like scramble eggs wanting over easy
Life bounces
Go with it, Bounce high bounce far
Bounce for bouncing
We are here once at least in this form
Today human
Tomorrow sparrow
Yesterday butterfly
Sitting inside my front screen porch
Mellow is the mood of my neighborhood
The sound of shoveling echos in the distance
I taste the day and savor the calm
Sunny and warm with a giggling breeze
And a lonely cooing of an turtledove
The sound of shoveling mixes into the moment
scraping the sound, spreading gravel
tap tap tap, it ceases
A lazy car moseys down the road as if nowhere to go
And my eyes transfix on the lovely figure
of a young teen girl walking slowly and surely
With no modesty of clothing or vibe
Indeed youth is wasted...
Troubles or pleasures life goes on
The night will shade
The day will shine
Life bounces either way
back and forth
high or low

Premium Member Bounces Over and Back Sweet Music Sings

Thee sweetest lily and flower of Eden’s garden growing wild and free
held under this enchantment where the daises circles around gold

Flower of hearts where there shades of apple blossoms pink
dazzling the night under the teardrops of angels deeply unfold petals

Within a black satin velvet sky twinkling centre of stars your beauty outshines
with piercing diamond light inside a halo you are crowned perfectly regal

Princess of the starlight gaze faraway holding a dream enveloping an echo
enchanted by the magic you spell one in a thousand whispers

A Crystal Ball That Bounces

the daughter of a certain (blank) attempted suicide today
(blank) is now frozen with fear and angry with herself
i told (blank) that it is nowhere near her fault
(blank) tells me that (blank) wants to be alone right now
i give (blank) space and reflect upon my life
my meaning and my purpose suddenly question my every intent
i want to run away from the truths that are revealed in the spotlight
however i know that the diamond stone of it all will never be moved
i cuss myself out for complaints and my selfishness
an immediate appreciation begins the slow process of changing me
all of a sudden (blank)'s arms wrap around my waist from behind
i turn around to hug (blank) and remain that way until....
