When playing basketball
being tall is best it's thought
but that's not all
wearing saggy baggy shorts on the court
needs keen hand-eye coordination
plus being fleet of foot
and have no quibble with dunk or dribble
if through the hoop a Wilson you wish to put.
As for American football
boring from the sideline I find
it's more talk less action
namby-pamby as opposed to rugby
which is wilder less calmer
and without all the body armour
now there's a game with some traction.
America's pastime baseball
is another matter
whether pitcher or batter
with Rawlings or Slugger
when on the mound I have found
unlike soccer or rugger
before a ball the hurler throws
and the pitch is hit or caught with a mitt
first rearrange the private parts in public
twitch the cap and then spit.
The greatest power we can yield is over ourselves. Look within for validation and answers. Don't let others hurt or define you by their limited views. Be your best self and shine brightly. You are a star.

When the hurt is so deep
That body armour would never be enough
Wounded soul, heart and mind
Leads to silence and slower trust
Those people that have hurt you
They have no regard for life
Only seeking power
Limited views creating strife
Remember that you're powerful
Of stars and infinite atoms
You can create anything
Yes, you can make it happen
And no matter what
Others say or do
No one has the power
Or control over you
Take the time you need
To work through your trauma
Heal your very being
With self-care and warmth
In time those wounds will be scars
Battlefield memories of history
You will prevail and thrive
Stronger in victory

Need help adjusting to an old charmer
Just like yesterday I was full of viss and pinegar

Not caring who you kill, maim or injure

One round here, another there

I am fire cooked in the belly of a barrel
An inferno like a messenger of death from hell
Somersaulting like a ninja assassin wilding his sword unsheathed
With double edged precision and ill intent unleashed
In my clear trajectory I target any would be shot stopper
I spit fatality and finality, I am the showstopper
There lies power in the pull of a trigger
An on/off switch of life at the tip of a finger
I entre the air with a loud Bang!
I express death like a bulletin
Collide and split air molecules with gun powder
15 calibre to penetrate fragile body armour
I shoot off my mouth like a machine gun
Two syllables, death by numbers, one by one
I recoil on my words like a liar, then silence
Steal lives and leave behind bullet clips
I laugh at your gun laws
I am the Lord of all wars
I'd like to know where you get off treating me like that ...
You're lucky I don't take to your head with my baseball bat.
You think that you're so big and tough
but I've had far worse than you.
You'd best run along home to mummy,
you've got some growing up to do.
That macho rubbish wont work with me,
I've heard it all before,
next time you raise your hand to me,
I'll kick you out the door.
If you come back and knock on my door,
you'll find it unwise to do
because now my rottweiler's fully trained in attacking images of you.
So knock on my door, if you dare
but I strongly advise body armour you wear.
