Bloodthirst
 Put the pen to paper.
 Soon your life will vapor.
 It’s just an old story.
 The floor creaks underneath me.
Survive another nightmare in the night.
No place to run or hide.
Everything seems to be so real.
Death at your door, let's make a deal.
 All dust shall return.
You can’t escape but only burn.
 Blood rains from the sky.
 Bewildering, you must survive.
It’s just a creepy house on the left.
Lay face down bleeding to death.
Become worm food in the cold dirt.
Your rosary can’t save you, I’m sure.
The sky is burning orange ash in a haze.
Descent far below, all memories will fade.
Don’t ask for help, this was the choice you made.
You never listened to me anyway.
 Shed blood through pain.
Through grief there is no shame.
I can’t save you from your own misery.
This is Dracula ready to feed.

Cacophany

Where harmony hoards the supposed hurt,
Symphonies belie me.
I rein myself in to not be curt,
But noise surrounds me.
Where time heals the freshly toiling,
I have old, murky bloodstains
Yet no one sees how quietly I'm boiling
Until the tipping point I shall hide my pains.
Why such a discordance in my disposition?
I desire to mourn the impact of this tyranny
Is this prophetic or an imposition? It's difficult to overlook the irony.

Someday I will explode, not implode
A magnetic, magnificent starburst.
For now, continue, continue to goad,
But this cacophony will not halt my bloodthirst.

Premium Member Personal Tragedies

We are destined to repeat history,
for wars are nonstop; the killing goes on.
And though little girls get raped and murdered,
in life's game of chess, they are but a pawn.

In the surreal arena of war:
bloodthirst and anger get drawn out with skill.
While generals get labeled patriots
and heroes: hailed for the numbers they kill.

Young soldiers are fueled by bravado
juxtaposed with devastating despair.
While politicians honor aggression
with posthumous medals, the dead don't care.

Orphaned children must prostitute themselves
and scavenge for food, or else starve to death.
And the defeated always seek revenge;
cursing the enemy with every breath.

Personal tragedies ignite the hate
that burns inside hearts like a righteous flame.
And it'll not be doused by tears spilled, walking
past rows of tombstones, searching for a name.

A Nice Winter

Deeply reaching the edge of the ocean
I do not feel the need for forgiveness although I regret
Revenge a tool for the weaklings will never affect me
A bloodthirst animal is what I came to feel like
A never ending cycle reaching towards authority and recognition
Past fears are the waste of times I'm trying to gain back
I know they want to be my friend but the animal spirit
Showed me what happens to those who settle, an easy take down.
I wanted to show him affection but it's the wrong time for any of this, you believe in love and I too but I hardly imagine a world in it now. Where were you 3 years ago?
That time I longed for a kiss that time your warm arms would have made me whole; now I am a fighter never willing to negotiate or compromise and ready to die, divide or annilihate
I will forget about love and reach the skies I want to take everything and replenish that burning fire inside me and anything in my way to freedom shall surely die.
But I wish you the best...

Halloween Full Moon

Once, a moon rose to a Halloween night,
Gold and round, it shines upon marble slabs of stone,
And in the lonely towers vampires licked pale lips,
Through woods, shivers of a werewolf's call.

Silhouetted in the night, bloodthirst searched for life,
And marble statues, next to the lonely woodland church,
The wolves sniffed, life in death they did find,
In all the fate of eternal life being searched.

Up in the sky, soaring vampires so bold,
Suddenly were still, seeing their prey,
Diving at werewolves, all ready for the war,
Two beasts became one, on that full moon's night of death.

And This Flag I Have Damned So Longly

And this flag I have damned so longly,
This rag, and nothing more,
While death-mock-racy raved and raved and avenged its bloodthirst
 Over and over,
Since the inception of a country, with George and Martha and Mary
With nothing save civility, in drawingrooms and battlefields
Is justified by that gentle face, somehow justified as being no longer a damnation
But the stuff of a citizenry, with that face, and the mulatoo's face, sad, overgrown Abe
   and all of his honesty,
How proud I am of the flag I never had,
Of the society I spent decades criminalizing, cursing
And of all the possibilities inherent in Innocence:
That is the face of my President
And this is my tattered flag!

Black Moon Rising

In the blackest pitch of night it rises when you least expect it
Highly sentient is this thing of darkness and you must respect it
Thriving in the astral plane, Immortal for the gods protect it
Volitile invasion, reads your mind, your thoughts, you can't reject it

Caution is the best defense to use when it is out and prowling
Nowhere you can hide, it senses fear; bloodthirst, you hear it howling
Underneath your bed not even safe, your thoughts betray your cowering
Always on the move, it follows you above your head it's towering

I have found that if you don't refuse the beast it will protect you
If you look it dead in the eye and call its bluff it will respect you
Then you'll be compelled to worship for its will is overpowering
And too late you'll notice piece by piece your soul it's been devouring

What you don't see will make your life cease to be if you ignore it
If you don't heed my advice you will bleed and die for it
Questioning why it is your turn to die there's no answer
Closing your eyes you will see...
Black moon rising!
