Silent warblers perch as garden’s crooners
With crest-petalled wings flapping as banners
All day long they exude unfading light
That no woeful glooms conceal their brightness.
Blooming with God’s wondrous creative zest
Bird of paradise shows triumphant glow
Exuding majesty to the fullest
While championing joy midst climate change-woe.
Creatures of whimsy floating, passion airing,
falling to Earth from God is the myth and prayer.
The male’s tails dance with intricate plumage details,
a quite ornate bird in the tropical forest with haunting wails.
I dreamed a bird-of paradise arose one starry night.
Beautifully plumed, it floated in mystical moon-light.
I drifted along with it, as delicate as fine lace,
extraordinarily content, unconstrained and graceful.
So, he came and dazzled you with his plume
And you simply succumbed to his grooming.
Pregnant, he’s gone, what have you got to do?
This may very well be your undoing.

Imagination only dreamt
In dark the starkness hid its flight
Until the tropic Phoenix went
Arrayed from daytime into night
The eye of the storm was to blame, Eve thought.
Fruit, ripped from the twig, wicked to behold.
Orbit of Adam, not at all thoughtful.
Outside of paradise bird grows old.
Fantastic flower from plant Bird of Paradise!
Spectacular colours : vibrant brilliant bright.
on distinct shape : evocative of bird in flight
Exuberant ecstasy symbolising.
None will step up, own up to their advice;
we pay the price for the choices we make.
Like plumage of Birds of God are mistaken
for wealth, it’s a roll of the loaded dice.
wingless passion earth bound life roots tilled ground ~ blossoms flowers newfound love

bird of paradise
Climbing the irregular hillside where the air was hot,
In the middle of the montane forest,
The atmosphere was tropical and so too hot.
I started my climb hoping for better fresh air,
When suddenly I saw the most beautiful bird,
Flying towards the upper branches of rainbow eucalyptus.
It was not a small bird and was so colourful,
Solid bright blue color for its wings
And tail with split eye ring and bluish-white bill.
Its wings occasionally display a red tinge.
I was told that it is one of the most beautiful
Birds called Blue Bird of Paradise, and I’m sure
It must have descended from above with bliss.
Suddenly it hung upside down, wondering why.
It did not sing but uttered a soft buzzing noise.
Slowly it fanned its feathers, an attraction to another bird.
Soon I realized this was his way to start to mate.
Silently I tiptoed down the hill and hoped
He’ll be successful in his lovemaking.
it represents well
state flower of Hawaii
blooming joy to all.
Bird of paradise with your lovely colors
How wonderful that you came to spread joy here today
Bringing optimism and love to my patio
Bird of paradise dressed in lavender and red,
With pops of black and white, who painted you these colors?
What master artist thought you up? Give him my approval.
Bird of paradise, you have uplifted me today, have made me want to do better.
Your joyous attitude has given me hope and altitude.
I thank God for you my friend. I feel encouraged and loved.
