Being Generous Toward Others
Written: by Miracle Man

Kindness is my mindset for gladly sharing,
of things I’m blessed with regardless of wealth.
It lets others see that I’m truly caring,
not given to be seen but done so in stealth.

I take bighearted stances when donating time,
I always give purposefully from belief.
It always comes back to me in this lifetime,
Pleasing God gives me a feeling of relief.

Whether driving a car or at roadside thumbing,
Believing is mile one on the highway to becoming.

Being God’s Servant

I’ve always been seen as a bighearted dude,
while my wife cuts coupons and seeks out great deals.
I thank God often for mental fortitude,
if its low in price she considers them steals.

While as just a young man my Mother once said,
son, you’ll never have much, you’ll give it away.
But because of willingness we’ve stayed ahead,
God has provided and we’ve not failed to pray.

Don'T Wait To Love

Why do people come together
When it's only stormy weather
From a disaster in our lifes
Bringing pain and lots of strife

Or a holiday so grand
Everone across the land
Is happy cheeful full of smiles
That only lasts a little while

Shouldn't we all be like this
Full of caring loving bliss
Every day and not just those
That we all have picked and chose

Lets be one bighearted family
Helping others each day-- can we
Dig down deep and pull out
What living is all about

Don't wait till its dreary and sad
Or a cheery happy and glad
Event to occur until we become
A world family joined as one

I’m excited - the
republican convention!
I love magic shows.

They will reveal, with
sorcerous skills a new Trump
- bighearted, and selfless.

The man we all know,
the emotionally crippled
horror, will wear disguise.

Who will be deceived?
The children in cages will cheer,
the virus dead will smile.

Our Nazis will march,
ghosts of veterans will wail,
What a fine party.

We Can’t Out Give God

Generosity is an attitude of gladly giving,
Which manifests itself in our daily living.
Whatever we have, regardless of our wealth,
We’ve always directed toward HIM in stealth.

We’ve been bighearted with our time and goods,
Reaching out to those in our neighborhoods.
Not practiced only due to some sudden whim,
For we’re only God’s steward’s, all belongs to him.

A Christian, by faith, should be sacrificially giving,
We should live each day as if it were Thanksgiving.
For God discerns when we don’t mind sharing,
He sees the evidence when for others we’re caring.

It’s when we share with others that God is pleased,
We shouldn’t be giving so our conscience is eased.
It’s only through giving that we’ve been able to learn,
That we couldn’t out give God, or beat HIS return.

Labor Of Love

Her labor of love began from the start,
When playing, feeding, they pushed her apart,

A large litter, siblings thought her a runt,
Fed from mom's rival, thought her as an aunt.

We were part of each other, playfully,
When hit by a car, held her tenderly,

A ball in my mitt, she fit like a glove,
Unceasingly, looks, her labor of love.

Growing up, my human friends, I parted,
Distant came news, her last days, bighearted,

Her labor of love, gone, on my return,
Yellow pup, named Banana, that she, earn.

Like the stars when glittery, was her Bow,
And the Moon that shone brightly, was her Wow!

My entire life I’ve considered myself high strung,
So I’m weary of people who treat me as if dung.

Some people borrow money without repay intent,
Then ask “can I work it out” once it’s been spent.

They look at me and see how I’ve been blessed,
And wanting a slice of my pie they become my pest.

A truism, “A fool and his money are soon parted”
Many times I’ve paid a price for having been bighearted.

I lend and repayment time bears attached strings,
Foolish people lend money so others can do foolish things.

I help the downtrodden sometimes questioning why?
While knowing, “There but For the Grace of God, Go I”
