Premium Member Mr Bungo

Zany and free spirited, Mr. Bungo is a one man show
Yodeling any song you like, doing the "old soft shoe"
Xenial to one and all, he can always charm the crowd
Wild and crazy is he, in a world of his own fantasy
Verily, a man of many talents, with his skits and tricks
Under a bright red canopy, he performs amazing feats
Tickling our fancy with imaginative tales of wonder
Somersaulting through hoops, landing on heaps of feathers
Rides around the ring on a wild, high strung ostrich
Quickly, Mr. Bungo jumps up onto tall stilts and
Parades through the crowd, while playing a kazoo
Odd and quirky, his clothes are colorful, bright and loud
No telling what Mr. Bungo might say or do next, he can
Mimic voices, impersonating a host of sounds and noises
Laughing, he loves to hear the audience roar and cheer
Kind, he tries to hide it, but has a soft spot for little kids
Just watch his face beam as he gives them animal balloons
I can spot tears forming behind his sad, light blue eyes
He has a soft heart, but doesn't want to show it, so he
Grabs his tall, silly hat, and springs back into action
Flinging himself into a rocket contraption, we watch
Eager to see what Mr. Bungo will do next, now sparks blast
Daring and brave, he rockets up into the air so high
Careful, Mr. Bungo, we don't want you to crash and die!
Barely, he escapes a tragic collision, he finally lands
And then Mr. Bungo bows, leaps up and does a hand stand.

                    ______________________________________

An art display with free and delightful assets,
Blemishes and brightness of nature are blatant
Confusingly gorgeous and full of magic and wonder
Digging deep down the dictum draws a drain.

Earth apex joins the sky peak to heal man's soul
Fathom thrills in its primal vogue as chaos
Gorgeous greenery coiled in your rippling blade
Hobble with a brisk ember for fall indulgence
It seems that nature is the most visually enticing.

Jewel blooms in a savored indigo whisk breeze
Kissing spite swirled, swaying spritz and sunlight
Levitate into the hills tidings; peace will reach you,
Mercurial avian melodies mingled in a zephyr swell.

Numb tears as marigolds sprout in the dawning sun
Observe nature in a gladsome way and appreciate it
Parasol arose in the blissful glory of glorious wile
Quintessence infuses both lost and found creations.

Remember, when the seasons alter and rain falls,
Sunshine and steel drum bands hug periwinkle sky.
Tender, rich maple-scented trees swirl with the wind
Uncork while chirping with birds to relieve stress
Vegetal forms decay, die, or are rudimentary.

Wail with a willow whisper whisked wind wilting
Xenoliths lack implies peridotite-eclogite connect
Yodeling, bird song disguise, and stage presence
Zenith inhales, exhales, fresh air renews your spirit.

Limerick: Once Miss Swiss wanted to make cake with cheese

Once Miss Swiss wanted to make cake with cheese
So she bought a cow, a dog and some geese.
The dog ate the gander
Geese laid no eggs for her,
So she locked the cow up in the deep freeze.

She called up her cousin in the French Alps
Through melodious yodeling yelps.
French cousine long in bed
Kept boiling her own blood,
So she blew the long mountain horn for help(s).

Her cousine germaine, a stout dairy maid
Answered her urgent melodic raid:
“Put the dog in manger,
Let cow sup in anger!”
Eh presto! Milk turned to holed-cheese sans aid!

Rumor Has It

to say that rumor has it
is to say that the World Trade Center
collapsed silently and cleanly like
oppositely sexed Siamese twins
who discovered they could mate
I had all channels going full bore
aiming at involuntary insemination
with the aid of a two-handled clam rake
now there's an archetype of malevolence
just how many categories are there anyhow
an infinity an eternity you decide
rumor has it
There may be more than one infinity
however eternity is but an extrapolation
of the next 10 minutes
who would want to spend it only there
a money robot trapped in labor
dead in a puddle of break time jism
insert your domain name here
a world gone heavily annotated
yearning for the dagger of love
whine your last you holy landlords
at a time when rent is the anomaly
where anomalies are just signals
this isn't a broken hearted paperback
or a lightning burn to the head
the big eye on the horizon says
he's trying to figure out
how far to take the next extinction
but is unsure whether to come to us again
as a mystic philosopher or a yodeling yokel
we've come out of the dark place
into the frozen lips dimness
looking for aids to navigation
having discovered the secret entrance
clues were left everywhere
let's hope it ends with clean sheets
because I just found out my guardian angel
is a rottweiler with a missing leg
and just as many teeth
one eye is a ball bearing
the other a shotgun barrel
loaded with pillow mints
he rides a mean skateboard
propelled across a landscape
of food and sex smells
no wonder I'm on the run
from my own mother

Polyphagia On Board

Polyphagia on board is forbidden and not welcome ---------- when
Everybody knows that should we ran out of food ---------- crickets
Probably will not feed us anyhow and most of us will ---------- cry
Pensive about victuals whilst starving madly. No ---------- seamen
Ever should go through famine. That's why we must ---------- stop
Relapsing into gluttony in this ship. I approve of ---------- yodeling.

Pepper spray is going to be one of the ---------- calamities
Any glutton will endure as a punishment. Thus, ---------- every
Real seafarer will chant these words now: ---------- "Bearded
Captain wants no fressing within his ship! Yes, ---------- captain!
Every single gob will ration the food. Frugality is a ---------- must!
Lashes and pepper spray those who fail shall ---------- undergo!"

Oktoberfest - Munich Madness

Welcome! everybody now
Europeans, Italians and otherwise

Wild birds all set to crow
Intent on pretzels and gnocchi
Liters of beer and wine prevail
Local foods will make you drool

Party-goers in the groove gear up
Arriving with cheers - Huzza!
Returning guests and those on tour
Teetotalers too we will admit
You are welcome; come and stay

Lederhosen and dirndls, dress apparel
Initial parade complete with confetti
Kicks off the breweries' lark
Every first Sunday, a costume parade

Trendy tents offer entertainment
Historic foods, mostly deutsch
Even children enjoy rides and flume
Reservations you will prefer
Early evening tents may close
Should safety cause concerns

No first-timer can turn down
Ox on a spit and all things potato

Thrills last for more than a fortnight
Oompah music always crescendo
Munich Madness - groups perform
Oktoberfest yodeling, give it a go
Regulation insures your beer -
Real German malt lager
Official toast, “O'zapft is!” - Cheerio!
We will party like there’s no tomorrow

Babble

Apples anger Abby
 because baffled buffalo's
caught cool colored colds
down by Donald's dead
farm fed foreigners

Goats gathered goo going to
    hot houses harboring hornets happily
into inner illness inside.
keeping Kelp koe caught by ken
 jumping joyful jolted
leaping laughing learning
making more money
 not knowing nothing

only ovens Open on
putting pudding powder
quickly quietly quenching
really red rough robots
sitting soundly softly
 together talking totally
 unrelenting ugly useless
 very vain violent verses

excellent x=rays exiting
wide white window
yapping yodeling Yeeeees
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Prie-Dieu

April's roses scent inebriates every sense
below the Gothic cathedral
cardinals doze
draping their wings over
evergreen plants
foreshadowing a cool sunset
griffins guard the bell-tower
hampering the intruders
inflicting fear on the jackals
jaundiced they hide into a jalopy
kapok is soft as cotton
ladybugs allow no sleep
manifesting vulgar wit
nibbling on naugat
oblitaring any sweetness
prie-dieu is her comfort
quickning my understanding
ravishing the merry opus
shedding light on her faith
tending toward forgiveness
unquestionable in its promise
verboten to dishonor it
wimple as sworn devotion
xenophobe not permitted
yodeling is immense praise
zither plays a Gregorian chant

Yodel-Lei-Hee-You

I trapped my yodel to you, in a conch shell
Then threw it in an ivory well
    Yodel-lei-hee-you, what-did-I-do?
I made a wish to get it out
But the un-wishing well had no doubt
That in its arms, was where it should stay
With the rest of the shells I’ve yodeled away
    I-keep-missing-you, yodel-lei-boo-hoo
I should be thankful an echo hasn’t escaped -
I can imagine the smirk it would put on your face
And I won’t give you that smug satisfaction
When all this is, is a delayed reaction
    Yodel-lei-hee-smirk, you’re-a-cheating-jerk
Soon I’ll stop yodeling for you, and when I do,
I’ll seal the well of yodel-lei-hee-hell, and reinstitute
    Forgetting you - yodel-lei-hee-who?

Premium Member World Music in Dulcet Tones and Duduk Vibrations

Across the globe, music ascends—a universal zephyr,
Bridging cultures in harmonious yearning;
Chords converge from Andes to the Zangezur, xenharmonic,
Dulcet tones of a duduk—in the air, they whisper.

Every note—an echo of humanity's vibration,
From flamenco's fire to the finesse of a cello's undulation;
Gamelan's gongs—a gamut of sounds' timbre,
Harmonium's hum—hearts and spirits, it serenades.

In India where the sitar intricately resonates
Juxtaposed with jazz as New Orleans quavers;
Kora's strings kiss the breeze as Africa pulses.
Lyrics leap across lands—in mosaic form, it oscillates.

Marimba's mallets are on wooden keys lightly narrate
Ney's notes always navigate in a trance-like murmur;
Oud's ornate voice offers a limericking lyric
Perhaps to partake in profound kinetic kinesis.

Qanun quietly queries—a quivering jumping jubilation
Rhythms resonate—a restorative impressive intonation;
Samba's syncopation—a spirited harking harmony
Tabla's tempo—a testament of gripping grandiloquence.

Uilleann pipes uplift with urgent a fever for fervor
Violins voice the vibrancy of the endless echo;
Whistles and winds—the world's diverse diapason
Xylophone's xylography—a cross-cultural cadence.

Yodeling yonder in the Alps' billowing bellow
Zither's zephyrs—a zenith we accentuate and attune.

Premium Member ALL OF 90 SECONDS HEY PRESTO

It’s my graduation,
What an awesome day,
What can I say,
Up a few steps,
Then capped,
Then down a few,
Between me and you,
All of 90 seconds
No more,
No fuss, no trumpet,
No encore,
I studied, I slaved,
I cried,
I worked through
The night,
For 4 years,
For this honor,
My family hardly
Heard my name,
But this
Was for me,
My moment of fame.
Made all the
More special,
With the presence
Of my 13 year old son,
Homework all done,
Yodeling his admiration,
In true traditional
South African style.

Premium Member Good News Sells Too

Here's the Good News, our world is awash,
in wonders and beauty life cannot quash;
Like laughter and love, kind words, Turtle Doves,
Bar Mitzvahs and birthdays, baptisms and first dates,
Promotions, Grand Openings, healings and yodeling!

Still more Good News...
Our world is awash, in kisses and hands held,
Tests passed, graduations, and money found;
Quiet moments of solitude, with friends in coffee shops,
Good moods rise above, and a dog’s unconditional love!

And still more...
A cat’s warm fur, trips to masseuse or masseur;
Reports of remission, Broadway shows and magicians,
Art galleries, symphonies, faith and homeless ministries;
Be ye conscious of good news, often awash,
Overwhelmed by negative, it simply gets lost.
Just a heads up--Good News Sells too!

Time To Shower When Pervasive Odor of Ureic Acid

Time To Shower...When Pervasive Odor Of Ureic Acid

Doth strongly waft, sting,
and nauseate about me
olfactory nose flying zone
bombarding cilia of
nasal passageway analogous
to displeasure wrought by

crashing, deafening, exploding,
ear splitting xylophone,
also synonymous isolated like
barenaked lady within
remote location of Lake Woebegone,
voluntarily forced to bathe

in brutally cold
mountain waters oxbow lake
vaguely resembling out
size topographical wishbone
rescue unlikely since
bajillion miles from radio tower,

thus state of the art
electronically sophisticated videophone
good as worthless resignation,
sans fate linkedin tubby
mother nature's cryogenic specimen
more'n murmuring undertone,

where huge Arctic glacier overshadows
infinitesimally microscopic human,
one speck kin zee ditched
*****sapien subsumed
under superfluous tombstone
as frozen fountain head,

where Atlas shrugged,
nonetheless incongruous yen
to purge mine offensive odor,
where civilization footprint
sole lee mine alone in wilderness
thus farcical reason (without rhyme),

atypical, farcical, and poetical title,
yours truly didst stirrup and spur
inexplicable search for soapstone,
yet prospect to don measly frame
without gay apparel

(beastie boy bit figurative bullet,
and buttressed body in buff)
immediately augmented primal scream
to trumpet heebeegeebees
(teeth chattering yodeling
rendition re: stayin alive)

from this Rhinestone
survivalist cowboy wannabe,
began feeling comfortably numb,
and immediately prone
to become human popsicle,
especially when sub zero temperature

immediately froze water splashed skin
(like glassy sheet of ice)
glancing viz albedo effect
as blindingly white
snow capped mountains outshone
albino crags, offering

absolute zero, yes none
reassurance with insulated moonstone
sleeping bag useful
as yolked with lodestone
around neck - slow death by
freezing this knucklebone,

who sought cleanliness,
(and panacea to immortality)
joining exclusive polar bear club
(Ursus Maritimus very selective,
and only chose me) even
at expense of more'n

just frozen jawbone
plus Jack frost bitten cockles turned
deep purple as inkstone
used to write re: scrawl epitaph
on icicle glommed headstone.
