Premium Member You'Re Worthy of Love

You're worthy of love

I see the scars, you're hiding deep within
they're not visible, upon your skin
you don't even know, how you could begin
to feel worthy of love...

You've been floating away, in time and space
your pain is written, all over your face
your dignity left you, without a trace
and you don't feel worthy of love

Bridge 1
I've seen so many people, just like you
they never seem to make a fuss
the only colors you know, are black and blue
and now it's hard for you to trust

The only friends you had, have long since died
you couldn't save them all, even if you tried
now you bottle up all, your feelings inside
you don't feel worthy of love

Bridge 2
I know to you living, is not worthwhile
but I can prove that you're wrong
I know it hurts to even try to smile
cause you forgot where you belong

Some may say, that you're a little high strung
you've shed too many tears, for someone so young
don't you know that you're life has just begun
and that you're worthy of love...

oh yes you're worthy of love
you are so worthy of love

You've forgotten that, you too have worth
you're the only you, on this planet earth
just ask the loving ones, who caused your birth
they'll say...you're worthy of love
indeed you're worthy of love

welcome home my dear!
you are so worthy of love!

Self Existent Light

Why depend on external things, when it's all within?
Your power, your radiance, and hope therein.
Navigate the highs and lows, without fear,
You're worthy, more than enough, let that be clear.

Rise up, open your eyes, and soar high,
You're the guiding star, lighting up the sky.
This special gift won't lose its shine,
Guiding you towards heights, so divine.

It brightens your soul, illuminates your mind,
Your inner light, a beacon for all humankind.

Premium Member Bible Sea Worthy Vessels

Amidst great ocean of life --- voyaging
I’m blest with the Lord’s granted fellowship
partnership-bliss in faithful stewardship…
Captain is Christ by His love’s engaging.

Along life's trip, I've learned Bible ships’ facts
attesting the Creator’s supreme hand
working by His omnipotent command
assuring sweet peace from evil attacks.

With God’s sovereign design, notable
Noah’s Ark in Genesis does prevail
as Earth’s first ship fulfilling divine sail
to preserve creation, grandly noble.

As a floating zoo against water might
Almighty-propelled vessel was haven
for animals while showers poured from heaven
bound Noah’s family with home’s delight.

One sea-vessel expressed by the Scriptures
showed baby Moses on his gracious trip
handled by the omniscient Father’s grip
the buoyant basket wrought great adventures.

Victorious ship in the Old Testament
surmounted grievous horrible tempest
when Prophet Jonah passed obedience test
admitting guilt for pardon fulfillment.

The greatest was the ship* of Jesus Christ
encountering numerous miracles
with the Saviour calming all debacles
by His truth and guidance, mercy-sufficed.

In this journey toward eternity
sailing with my Captain in reaching-out
as fisher of men midst soulwinning bout
I’m safe in His friendship of grace-bounty.

*Mark 5:21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

The Poet Worthy of Praise

He or she who can put pen to paper
And write words for all to cherish and savour,
Who can touch the heart and fire the mind
And make us see things as if we were blind;
Who paints word pictures, again and again
With the swiftest strokes of a ballpoint pen,
Awakening feelings of wonder and awe
That, perhaps haven’t been sensed before;
Who makes heavy hearts feel at ease
As easily as the wind bends willow trees;
Truly, on that Poet’s words we should feed
For surely they’re worthy of praise indeed.

Sea Worthy

Once more
these achievements
milestones on your journey
anniversaries, like buoys
mark how far you've come- over life's ocean
through all kinds of weather, you have
safely held together
proven sea-worthy
once more

Premium Member Open Poetry 9 - Not Worthy of Life

An outcome more preferable than becoming a slave.
Peace beyond dreaming on the way to my grave.
Accused and found guilty, I was not remanded.
Inflicting retributive punishment is what I was handed.

The noose hung before me, my future to die.
Onlookers glaring in silence, then an insidious cry.
Relentless struggle to take in air, my voice so rasp.
Agonizing, laborious striving to inhale, I gasp.

Monotonous effort, to force my body to breathe.
All energy spent, a body not worthy of life, I seethe.
Too weak to continue, as hopeless as it seems,
To end this misery, was only in my dreams.

A calm settled as images of my bygone years showed.
The irony of death giving me life was blissfully bestowed.
All pain diminished, as visions of heaven came to me.
The brightest light was all my vision allowed me to see.

Premium Member Worthy To Be Praised

When I was once broken in spirit and full of sorrow
I had no thoughts of sunshine for my tomorrow
I remember those lonely and cold days and night
After nine years of a beaten body and broken spirit; but, at the end of this darkness I seen light
It was no more living in fear and despair
Father God no matter what I was going through I knew you were here
Your words promised me, “That you will never leave me or forsake me”
For three years I’ve been totally healed and free
In all those years of a nightmare not once did I quit and complain
I just kept my faith and constantly called on the Lord’s name
You said if my faith was small as a mustard seed
You would be there to heal me and supply all my needs
After being on dialysis for so long it taught me how to believe and fight
See when you know and trust in Jesus there is healing as a reward for your plight
January 10, 2015, it has been three glorious years and five blessed days
My sweet and loving Jesus your, “WORTHY TO BE PRAISED!”

Wham Bam Slam I Am Not Worthy

If I suffer from an affliction
If I stutter
If my grammar is gutteral
If the words I utter
Failed English at School
Sorry I am not cool
Pity me or the fool
Who uses education as tool
To dismiss what I write
Because it is not spelt or gramatically correct
As you supersede the common collective
Consciousness up for discussion
My feeble poem tried to address
Your disregarding says it best
Speaks volumes
Look at me
Mother Superior
Administrator of the Interior
Sub Editor for closed book's
That overlooks
And overseas
Conservative committees
In self righteous sicophantic indignation
No correlation can unearth
Or has no worth
For the meek
Who seek
To interject
Blazers and Ties
Ivy institutions for fear of exclusion
Poison classes wood trenches
Desks protect from xenophobic zeitgeists
That conform to questioning

Premium Member A Dream Most Worthy

I lay me down upon my bed,
      and lovely thoughts invade my head;
           elusive dreams at best.
Dreams of people no longer hating,
      hand in hand, not hesitating,
to bless and to be blessed.

No matter race, religion, gender,
love reaching out with touch so tender,
           we become united.
Alas, for now, it's just a dream,
but surely a most worthy scheme:
            Brotherly love ignited.

You Are Worthy

Life is just a midst..
a vapor.. to soon be gone
quickly each moment passes on...

We are all given a chance
right now.. here upon this earth
tis not just to sing and dance
But tis to know how much YOU are worth

You are worth Everything
To God Almighty..
Our Magnificent King

He gave His All
His undying Love
Just for you and me..
to be set Free...

He gave His Only Begotten Son
Jesus.. Our Divine Christ.. tis the one
Whom died in our place..
Risen.. with God's Divine Grace
We have this moment Now

Now tis the Time..
Come to Jesus..
and find..
You are Worth More
Than you know..

Come to Jesus

I Am Worthy

(true feelings)

I am worthy ,and you're not.
For you left yourself worth behind when you decide to bully me.
I am worthy, and you're not.
For you left yourself worth behind when you started your malpractice.
I am worthy and you're not.
For you left yourself worth behind when you , you abused me.
I am worthy, and you're not.
For you left your self worth behind when you try to steal my Identity.
I am worthy and you're not.
For you left yourself worth behind when you try to put labels on me.
I am worthy and you're not.
For you left yourself worth behind when you try to use me and my son to feel good about yourself.
I am worthy and you're not.
For you left yourself worth behind when you try to use me and my son for attention.
I am worthy and you're not.
For you have nothing left. Not even your pride, nor yourself worth.

You Are Worthy

We ride wave upon wave
into our alternate futures,
if you don't accept it, just
raise your sails again and
aim your boat at the next
set of waves and try again.

The world is in
constant motion,
what was once dry land
is now holding an ocean.

Tell me why
we were so filled with doubt.
There's a world of possibilities
you can poke with your pout.

Before you allow your old self
to re-sift through the rubble,
take a magnifying glass to fall
in love with your new bubble.

Remember, if they have a pin,
they are not to come in.
We already know every-
thing we need to know.

The moon is urging us
to simply go with the flow,
all you need in your life
has just left its' shadow.

Be accepting and ready,
this is your new start.
You are so worthy,
come refill your heart.

Premium Member Am I Worthy

Oh! please, please, hear me, listen
See me, shackled to the dirt
Won't you loose these chains, that bind me
To a life, of pain and hurt
Sing me sweetly, to my slumber
In the darkness of the night
As my nightmares tear asunder
The resolve, left in my fight

Help me, hold it all-together
As the reins, slip from my hands
Tears of sorrow, wet the leather
Only You, Lord, understand
If You show me, what's before me
Will I fear the broken truth
Will a wave of hope, restore me
To the glory of my youth

Am I worthy, of a mention
As in awe, of You, I stand
Will you part my sea of sorrow
Smite my giants, with Your hand
All the rapture of the living
Lies, entombed, among the dead
The promise of the Gold to be
Lies sleeping, in the lead

As a candle, burning brightly
Is mis-shapen, over time
Will You hold me all- together
In Your tenderness divine
Though, I Thirst and I am Hungry
In a Soul, that's growing, cold
I'd not sell You, for their Silver
Nor, betray You, for their Gold
