The Urgent Flesh

As sun smiled a last few moments
on our warm, trembling rock,
and I sat behind you in the breeze,
your skin visibly welcomed
touch of sunset, touch of air
and touch of worshipful hands.
I'd have ravished you there
but for the uncertainty of the day.
Your breasts grew urgent
under my audacious touch,
and your skin threatened
to burst into a myriad rays
of warmly chilled daylight.
I was not quite sure
whether your luxurious flesh
surrendered to the touch
of that flirtatious summer breeze
or surrendered to the touch
of my infatuated hands.
It satisfied me then, there,
to think that it might be both.

Premium Member Lady Legend

A battlefront benefactress,
She has her fortress, a fortified Princess, inside the dungeon of distress,
Tiled with the bone chips of ingratitude colored in pigments of black bright & rugid red,
An arrowhead chandelier illuminated by wicked tears, wet with woe,
Everybody saw her wedding dress, they all knew the warfield wardrobe,
But how many cared to touch her sorrow gown, how it hung on those exhausted shoulders,
The lilac one piece she wore for private pain,
Gain gauged by perseverence of self defense, vengence on Victory's tombstone,
How many visit that ceremony, where love is isolated amidst jealousy's cackle,
Do any of them frown with sympathy for the debt of her crown,
For every jewel in the tierra there exists a bruise upon her beautiful body,
An assault levied by the 'learned', the rape of a writer wrought by the wretchedly wanton,
Honors earned ransomed by pitiful rivalry, kindness taken in the grip of disingenuous delight,
Some say her very name is a curse, an anethema from some God foresaken moon,
Poet Destroyer, 'Too much nerve, too much passion' they exclaim,
Its only natural for her ingrown throne to be a thorn
In the fingertip of the editorial 'elite',
They know we will bleed for her grace like the children of wild sport,
The Poet Destroyer shall not hurt us as educators of deformity do,
She will not impose false limits on our brows,
She will not strike our eyes with rotten ink,
And look now you vultures of vice, we are Legion,
We are Brothers and Sisters of the Quill, raise your sight and behold our Worshipful Queen,
She rests not long in the sanctuary of her inner star, here we are,
Leading the war march towards you with captured & dried quills
Of imposter poets lashed to her sheild of cauterized parchment
Imprinted with the blessings of all literary Titans who have warred before,
We step forward While chanting in crazed concentration,
Oh woe to you,
Victors of vanity, victims of sanity!!!

This composition has been made in honor of the Poet Destroyer, aka. Linda,
A beautiful woman, a guiding Light, a warrior of liberated and Divine Art.

'Theatre Of The Absurd'
Catoptric Corridors of Time

Oh how the wounded waverly wander away from their hermitic heart
Only to meticulously maunder thru cumulous clouds that diffuse apart
The deflections of deceptions that build worshipful walls
Seen in Mirrors of errors displaying fathomable fetal falls

The soliciting silences succumbing to their cognitive cocoon
Inducing illusions forthcoming mirage’s of the monolithic moon
Dimensional decoding within the resurgent rhythmical rhyme
Catalectic exploding compositions in the Catoptric Corridors of Time.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Aztec Summer

The Mexican midsummer sun
beamed down mercilessly, vertically,
so that men's heads and shoulders glowed
but their faces, and every human expression,
disappeared, dark and intense in the radiant noon,
and their bodies were illuminated
only for a moment at a time
with the pounding of arms and legs.
From almost as high as the sun,
thousands upon thousands upon thousands of eyes,
worshipful and expectant and desperate,
gazed downward, almost vertically, it seemed,
and the stands, foreboding and tall,
were part temple, part cauldron,
and saw some dreams come to fruition
and many shattered in despair.
On fields partially scorched and partially green,
the gateway to triumph was so deep
that heroes almost had time enough
to turn in celebration
half a moment after
their heroism had crossed the line,
yet half a moment before
it had nestled in the back of the net.
Story-tellers, men of many tongues,
celebrated caricatures in their own right,
screamed feverishly to the masses,
to tell of the drama as it unfolded,
rolling cameras projected moving images
and snapping cameras froze images in time,
and both launched their moments, moving and still,
into the eternity of divine drama.
A winter and a summer, and a change in between,
and a summer and a winter, and ten thousand miles away,
young boys and men, and a girl or two,
marvelled at the spectacle, and revelled in the glory,
and dreamed that it was theirs.
From three or six seasons, and ten thousand miles away,
I fell so deeply and dearly in love
with the Aztec summer's noon.

Hero of Hearts-Never Too Far

Her face launched a thousand verses, into the worshipful waves she immerses
With the mermaids, she converses adorned by many in the ultramarine universes
A star child of the celestial seas her warmth blowing benevolently in the breeze
For humanity, she will appease as her tears of joy fall from the terpsichorean trees

A heart bigger than her white smile, as she indulges with the fish on her lost isle
Sailing serendipitously is her only style; touching many a heart admits many a mile
She dances underneath the stars and moon, a Delphian dreamer of twilights tune
Signals of the heart from her lavish lagoon, sending to us on her rainbow balloon

Tender are her words in a heavenly view, morphing with water of the ocean blue
Her heart will help you mend and start anew, with shimmering light shining thru
A beautiful soul loving and living carefree, of this earth an angel of the first degree
As my thoughts sail across the sentimental sea, she will always be a Hero to me.

Battle of the Gods

In Monolithic monuments are the bringers of the derelict dawn
I see many idolatrous idols, forged in ancient bibliothecal Babylon
Within worshipful winds, that carry words of parasitical praise
And indulging in illusions that comfort their camouflaging craze

I am the god of Lust beware my tempestuous heinous hunger
My appetite for decadent desire keeps me forever younger
I am the god of Gluttony beware my excessive consumption
The more I ferociously feed, the more for my euphoric eruption

I am the god of Greed beware my matriarchal material possessions
I want what I want and not what I need, to satisfy my aggressions
I am the god of Sloth beware my lazy inhabitations and failure to act
In my dormant dwellings, savoring sanctuaries where I safely retract

I am the god of Pride beware my self-indulging pompous portray
I talk to merciful mirrors that reflect reinforcing rumors my way
I am the god of Envy beware my desire to obtain what you possess
I want to experience everything, the secret to my seductive success

I am the god of Wrath beware my feelings of anger and habitual hates
Waging worthless wars as I open up the homogeneous hellion gates
The gods have spoken, their words eternal spread throughout eternity
In the efficacious end, Love will conquer all, so I say to you... ‘Let It Be’

God hoists my faith for service right

He assures me His presence-bliss
Of compassion’s peace I can’t miss.

Thus, I face each day so grateful
Midst triumphant heart, worshipful.

Vanquishing fear, despair and doubt
Love-propped, I’m ready to reach out.

“The reason birds can fly and we can't is simply because they have perfect faith, for to have faith is to have wings.”
- J.M. Barrie, The Little White Bird

Robins, wrens, sparrows,
quivering, yet silent, still
on limbs and branches, boughs,
heavy with rustling leaves,
their feathers brilliantly flaunted,
in cloaks of crimson, indigo and lemony yellow,
creating music with arms, soft wings
singing to the shattered trees,
in altos, sopranos and gentle tenors,
laughing, chattering, chortling,
teaching the skies their cozy songs…

wrestling with the crisp of winter,
hesitating on the melody,
alive… more alive than the breathless winds,
shivering through the oaks and pines,
washing away all the sun’s spun wishes,
singing light on the ridges,
murmuring joy and peace and love,
in angelic voices, lifted in praise,
silencing the grief, the pain, the heartbreaking
in the distance,
the heart breaking, like a whisper…

birdsong, bird’s song,
alive and warm, in tones of hope,
poured out like the sun,
gentle and fond,
adoring, worshipful,
rising to the skies, tender
falling over the promises, the fanciful
reflections of a love,
who is peaceful like the dove,
bird’s reassuring, in hues, all colors,
rising and susurrant,…

praising, praying, promising
forever spun on gold threads of light,
softly falling on shadows,
restoring the life, resurrecting
insights, inspiring, imaginations,
alive… so alive, the bird’s sing
and, while the night, so silent,
presses in on the soul,…

we are remembering the call of hope,
peaceful and praising, every praising,
like the wind through the trees,
the singsong breeze,
each bird trembles with the need,
to please, simply please,
singing to the One who erases the dark,
fills the heart and silences the shame,
as the heart continues to pray,
and praise, oh, how they praise,
singing like the love who stirs life,
inside each story,
inspires love that is ever worthy.

“Life --- commenced by God’s love, with soul quickened through His grace, spirit revived in His strength, faith buttressed upon His truth --- abides forever worshipful.” Poet (Beata B. Agustin)

Guilty, devoid of own righteousness in God’s sight
Condemned to hell’s wrath, my soul was transgression-slain
Yet, the Lord reached out to me from His lofty height
Offering compassion of eternal life gain.

Hopelessly perishing, but now redeemed by grace
My spirit praises the Saviour with grateful glow
Exalting His holy name upon Scriptures' brace
While serving in His ministry of blessings’ flow.

Receiver of love’s opulence midst pardon seal
My heart rejoiced for gift that was sacrifice-priced
Such did ransom me from sin torturous ordeal
paid sufficiently by the blood of Jesus Christ.

I cleave* to the Almighty, upheld by His hand
Triumphantly worshipping as His called servant
Sharing the Gospel all the way to promised land
Awaiting His coming; with prayer, observant.

Guilty, devoid of own righteousness in God’s sight
Hopelessly perishing, but now redeemed by grace
Receiver of love’s opulence midst pardon seal
I cleave to the Almighty, upheld by His hand.

*Deuteronomy 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

"The Lord is risen!”*
keeps on reverberating
as vibrant resurrection-shout
for life-transformation
conquering old nature
vanquished by God’s salvation-might
toward empowered service
wrought by the Holy Spirit.

“The Lord is alive!”
ceaselessly echoes
jubilant resurrection-truth
along faith-perseverance
smiting doubts' grip
through Scriptures' assurance
bracing against angst of confessed iniquities
to radiate Christ's light.

“The Lord reigns!”
serves as blissful resurrection-triumph
for fruitful kingdom-involvement
propping labour of love
with earnestness verity
girded by the Saviour's faithfulness

*Luke 24:34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed.

I thank You, dear God for Your love, sending to me Your Son Jesus Christ to be my Saviour. Thank You, dear Jesus, for dying on the cross, being buried, and rising again to save me from hell, granting me eternal life. I trust You. I put my faith in You while I repent of my sins. Thank You, Holy Spirit for enlightening me that only Jesus Christ can save me, and satisfy my soul. Keep me staying in Your victorious will by Your grace. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Premium Member Observations From My Pew

I deem it important to attend church for my spiritual maturation.
I really savor the fellowship of a loving and caring congregation.
I especially relish the potluck suppers and other social interactions,
But even in this worshipful scenario, there are bound to be distractions!

Now, I don't mind the preacher pounding his pulpit to gain attention,
Or the occasional "amen" from a dear sister for her comprehension,
But that feller across the aisle who always sings off-key and out of tune,
Sounds like a murder of cranky crows or an out of sync bassoon!

I thrill at a great rendition of "How Great Thou Art" by the choir,
And the crescendo of the organ as it grows higher and higher.
Even the woman belting out her mezzo-contralto doesn't bother me so,
But that feller across the aisle who murders "Amazing Grace" has got to go!

I can tolerate little children who holler and scream now and then,
Or the occasional raucous ringing of a cellphone now and again,
But I approach congregational singing with little or no anticipation,
When that feller across the aisle brays, "The Churches One Foundation!"

I don't mind the snoring of the guy who occupies the pew behind me,
And I can abide the pastor's profound homilies to a certain degree.
But how I dread to hear that feller's odious and tuneless strain!
(I suppose I could move to another pew to ease my Sabbath bane!)
