Best Water Lily Poems
I AM A WATER LILY
When blue skies kiss whisper and ***** ripples quiver...
I drink on sun rays and bathe from falling rain,
I stand there afloat: graceful and reserve.
From pink petals shimmer, I flush also a moonlit snow,
honeyed aroma I puff and puff chasing wind curves
thrilling some senses, awakening some nerves!
Upon gush and waves of bursting rainbow colors,
I lay atop, my rhizomes rise, they waft....
Around my roots are croaking frogs and slimy eels,
they thrive for I supply their daily meals.
Day by day in my life, I live to be pure,
my heart beckons heaven yet my roots down here...
Even if currents trample me and storms blow me,
upon seas and oceans, I trip like a sailing ship
but upon force, upon wonders I shall abide
giving my everything-- my best white shots!

Weeping willow creeping there
Amber light from melodic moon
Take a fuchsia flower for hair
Emerald embrace as love bloom
Romantic rose petals on blanket
Laid so beautifully
Indigo kiss touches silver soul passion strategically
Like lily floating in the lake
Your love does the same to me
beautiful it is
but unaware
even when fought over
She rises from the murky
Depths of the pond;
Unsullied and undiscouraged.
The frog hops on her bosom.
The fish steals a kiss from her cheek.
The rain throws droplets on her
The withered leaves fall on her.
Her quietude is so strong
The pond sits in silence.

Circled by serpeants
a bloom reaches for the sky
rising above chains
I am a water Lily,
my petals are quite frilly.
I thrive on abundant waters,
the flowing streams, my AORTAS.
Great beauty in flowing scene,
planted in life’s flowing stream.
My nectar is quite neat,
my honey dew is sweet.
It is in April and May,
broad leaves on water I lay.
When I prepare to pray,
in nature’s usual way.
Being love’s Lily of life,
manifesto of love not strife.
Having variety of colors,
love imitates no others.
Please enjoy my view,
my beauty I give to you.
I sway in the gentle breeze,
with awesome beauty, I please.
From a world of useless strife,
come and quiet your very life.
Come and sit by my side,
on my river so very wide.
And let your conscience awake,
love’s nature made no mistake.
Love only made me for you,
as truth, I am as skies so blue.
Nature’s awesome retreat,
numerous days to repeat.
Petals of beauty quite neat,
a natural of love’s feat.

You captivate me for the very first time
An outstanding beauty that truly outshines.
Sparkling glitters while sun rages high!
Never seen an enchantment that takes me so high.
You float in the water without wearing any fear.
But I’m drowning to joy when I see you too clear.
Will you swim and come to me real close?
Your scent is perfume that tickles my nose.
Walk in the water with a beautiful poise.
Splendid petals do make a good noise.
Let the rain come down and shower you now.
Gaze you dancing while I whine and say wow!
You’re the most adorable flower of all…
Please don’t leave me in summer or fall.
You’re my most favorite flower of all.
Can I paint you smiling on my empty wall?
Fish swim closer,
To the lily girl,
Who dances on her flower,
They watch her twirl,
She touches the water,
With her toes,
Where the ripples go,
Nobody knows,
Music in air,
She fights off the fog,
That begs her to sit,
Like a bump on a log,
It slows her small fish,
And makes them all groggy,
Then after she dances,
Their minds are not foggy,
Her grace is smooth,
And her petals are bright,
She protects the fish,
That are too small to fight,
She watches the water,
And dances all day,
Come to the pond for,
A water lily ballet.
WATER LILY
reflections.....
unfolding from
your silken-white hands
send mirrors of yellow peace
gently nourishing those who seek
healing upon arrival
at your
shores
Amid globular, floating serrated leaves
Dwells a dreamy lily in milk white frock
She is the new occupant of my small pond
Fructified by swimming fish and croaking frog
Like a nymph over the water’s still surface
She smiles and sways in unusual grace,
With the regal flourish of a beaming bride!
A sight, that’ll lit a smile on many a face!
In the circular pond dappled with green algae
As the early beams of sunlight come to cajole
She stands proud, lifting her fair face to the sun
Awakening ripples of joy in my sullen soul!

She lives among the vibrant water lilies,
She lives in the clear, freshwater pond,
She loves to tend her flower bed of peace,
As sunbursts tend the gardens of beyond!
She revels in warm, rife saffron sunshine,
Relishing the finest of two exotic worlds,
Like canaries plunge, upon grapes to dine,
In gold summer shine or moonlight pearled!
You are a water lily in a wetland,
The scholars surround you,
They did not expect to find beauty,
In a place like this,
Where did you come from?
With your eyes greyer than glass,
And your mind like the sun,
You cast your spell,
Without even lifting one of your lovely fingers,
Nor raising your soothing voice,
A girl looks at you dreamily,
Struggling to ask you the right questions,
About the things you love,
To hold your attention,
And you are so humble in your wisdom,
Your friend embraces you,
After not seeing you for a week,
As though reuniting with a part of his own soul,
And they all pass books in ancient languages,
Into your lovely hands that seem to have been made for strumming lyres,
You dwell on words they'll never understand,
Until you emerge,
With your hunger for meaning quenched,
They watch as you glow,
And they too are satifised,
for they live to make you smile
Floating magical fairy upon a water lily,
Blessing all of the living beings deep within a pond,
Casting spells of rejuvenation with flickerings of her wand.
Sounds of burning water lilies
Disorient the future contours,
A shivery breath fills
My cheery corner.
The blazing shadow of the sun crushes
The sphinx of my star,
And the promises dissolve
Before the strangled star.
