I am a water Lily,
my petals are quite frilly.
I thrive on abundant waters,
the flowing streams, my AORTAS.
Great beauty in flowing scene,
planted in life’s flowing stream.
My nectar is quite neat,
my honey dew is sweet.
It is in April and May,
broad leaves on water I lay.
When I prepare to pray,
in nature’s usual way.
Being love’s Lily of life,
manifesto of love not strife.
Having variety of colors,
love imitates no others.
Please enjoy my view,
my beauty I give to you.
I sway in the gentle breeze,
with awesome beauty, I please.
From a world of useless strife,
come and quiet your very life.
Come and sit by my side,
on my river so very wide.
And let your conscience awake,
love’s nature made no mistake.
Love only made me for you,
as truth, I am as skies so blue.
Nature’s awesome retreat,
numerous days to repeat.
Petals of beauty quite neat,
a natural of love’s feat.

The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And pebbles salute
Converged in a cannon of salutation
Swift & smooth & sharp!
Bowing near her golden wings
All the pebbles greet
Adoring the blackness of her beauty
Luring her in vain
Into a home-dance at the village square!
The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And winds of terror blow
Blowing everywhere
Among forest paths & homesteads
Unbeaten by protest-clouds
Here in the sky –
The hunter’s sling aims in vain
Her feathered bosom
Drawing away the eaglets.
The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And stones in a hurry fly
Over fawning protective leaves & branches
More stones parachuted by hopes
Of spoils & clannish fame!
O eagle seated on the hunters’ disunity!
Rejoicing in the eternal silences
Enthroned in a nest of beauty
Carved like a marbled soul of immortality.
The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And pebbles salute
Veering in a common confusion –
Should she fly safely away
Then hunters & their folks
Could sigh for another decade
Of her willful dictatorship –
And more stones could greet
Swift & smooth & sharp!
“We are God’s creations, and therefore we must accept that the differences are
God’s business. It is not our place to become involved in God’s business. Look about
you, and view what he has wrought for your pleasure. Now think you this, ‘It was to
you he gave responsibility for its safe keeping, and it is you to which shall accrue
the cost of failure.”
So simple it knocked me, yet again, to my knees, and I heard my voice say. “Lord,
why could we not see the flowers called man? From whence came the blindness to
the beauty of each individual being, each specie shared this beauty of nuance, and
it was only man who failed to accept your gift." Oh we marveled at the diversity of
the lower species, as we called them. We housed them in zoos, and in gardens. We
sought them out and were amazed by the diversity and color. Yes the pleasure they
provided was legion, yet we fell short in our amazement; by one specie. Our egos
let us assume we could make it “right,” and our logic failed to realize you already
had. Lord please forgive us, and to the next caregiver I give my charge.
“Get to your feet. “Adam,” for to you I gave a task.” My head reverberated with the
resounding words. Had it really heard them? Again the voice in my mind
exploded, “Do not forget your own words, for there are some who saw, and they
await your arrival. You do not get off so easy, for you will try, and try again until you
get it right. For it is my work you are to do and failure will be a cost too dear to
consider. If these who have fallen could tell you, they would gladly have another
chance. Well, you are their other chance. Responsibility is that you can never expect
another to fulfill for you. It is your job, now get off your knees and do it.”
“Maybe this chronicle will pass down through the ages, who can say. As-for-me, I
wander the years, the centuries, the eons, seeking those who saw.” With each step
I chant my lessons, for I would not want to fail again.
Your beauty is above all
Every time you walk by, all stare
Some people tend to wonder if you care
Knowing you will never fall
Your beauty is above all
The birds chirp and sing
But when you anger, your eyes do not sting
Will you sweet, answer my call?
Your beauty is above all
Your lips red with passion
So much they talk, with expression
Your gentle words make me stand tall
Your beauty is above all
The beauty that is you will not die
But your soul shall fly
Too Heaven's golden gates, you shall
