As I Watched The Fiery Red Sun Slip Behind The Mountain
As I watched the fiery red sun slip behind the mountain
I tossed a silver dollar in the wishing well fountain
My dear wish was for the hand of my very passionate lover
And life together that such bountiful happiness covers
She that tells me, "my darling, my sleepy head, rise thee from bed"
Let us sightsee this world, and watch that huge falling ball of red
Me there pretending not to hear, but my lover knows my game
She laughingly dances right on over and yells out the same
And then she lays a very soft and a long passionate kiss
And that is the sweetest blessing that I did not want to miss
I reached out to snatch my lover into our large silk bed
Saying, "darling let just stay here and make sweeter love instead."
As I watched the fiery red sun slip behind the mountain.
I tossed a silver dollar in the wishing well fountain.

Sonnet
A wave of uneasiness
Swept over me;
Something unsettled
My being.
With heightened senses
I felt the heat of the gaze
Anchor unto me,
Steadfast.
Turning to see
That which was watching me,
I froze in fear
As it stared at me.
Feet as roots;
Body fought mind.
Eyes swell, jaw drops;
He approaches me.
The breathing first
And then the drum,
Before I knew
I was on the run.
With unknown speed
I fled that day,
Instincts prevailed,
I got away.

Blank verse
I watched the angry walls burn down
today and slowly pour the pain inside
ten caves that hide where daylight dies
among the laughing daffodils with smiles
that fear the season change between the
rocks that once held joy now dashed
before we ever knew the green that led
nine souls to rest far from the river where
one man's loss as eight red wagons slowly
circle apes who cry like humans not but
trial and stone placed bones at final
resting plot beside the bones that call her
home seven times before I learn the
answers why the shield prevents the sun
once more as six of sounds crash through
yellow finite life I know not why I know
not why five times she cries then turns
around falls four more 'till heaven sends
three said he for two they were and now
are
one

Verse
Darkened abyss mirrored in the night
Hazed over in a gloomy shame
Blocking all of my peripheral sight
Lonely and lost without a name
Forgotten and trapped buried in fright
Dwelling in all of my haunting past sins
Waning moon lost in the depths of the night
Defending myself and battling without my friends
Furious red eyes watch my every step
Cursing my mind with negative thoughts
So, so, deep in my demented mind in depth
Feeling my soul disintegrate as my body rots
Dying inside but nobody knows how I feel
Circling through my insane mind frame
For my sanity and love someone did steal
Ward #B Insane Asylum torment and pain
Given up hope and all that means well
Given up loving and the passionate nerve
Dying and burning in this insanity Hell
Cars coming at me blindly --- unable to swerve
Not a nightmare --- but real-life indeed!
Not exaggerating but speaking the truth
Because I just don't qualify for the human breed

She felt she was being watched.
The hair on the back of her neck stood up.
She turned to look at the empty chair in her bedroom.
It was not moving and the blinds were pulled.
She could not shake the feeling, so she looked in the closet
And under the bed. Nothing.
She felt a tiny bit better.
She flipped off the light and climbed under her covers.
She felt the other side of the bed go down.
Terrified, she put the covers over her head
And began to pray.

Once our Senorita watched Sea Anne-Anne

Limerick
I watched the sun rise this morning
In its splendorous shimmering gold
Slowly drifting up - out of the earth
Like a flower bud unfold
Its pristine wings to heavenly things
Radiating love sublime
From deep within
Where life begins
And nothing ever dies
In the atmosphere
Where nothings clear
As colors born in bloom
I watched the sun rise this morning
Dreaming about you
And me again together like
Two binary stars
Trapped in a dance
Of eternal romance
Immeasurably, near and far…
Thus, when I watch the sun once more
Tomorrow or next year
I’ll think again of where we’ve been
And cry yet one more
Tear

I Fell Into My Grave While You Watched
To fall down into the endless abyss
Your staying to watch me as I drift away from the world I once knew
What am I doing I losing control I'm going without word
Why do you watch from afar laughing as though my pain is some pleasure?
Is this the end of me? shall I die here ?
Why is it you watch me why is it you do not save me.I see you watching with a smile.
I thought it was love maybe it was greed that made you push me down down into my grave.
You seem happy maybe it because I'm dead?Yes that it
I'm happy again I was feared death but now i see it as pleasure
Why are you crying can't you not see me smile your tears or vain to me
I'm smiling as I see you suffer you killed me and now your paying for it
Here you are now you can stay by my side forever
I'm happy even more since you came now we can float together in this endless void you created
I can see your back to your old none selfish self may we both smile more

My phone is being tapped; I’m sure of it
I called a government guy a nitwit
Why did I post that blog?
Am I in such a fog?
Perhaps I should have called him a half-wit
The letter to the editor was hot
Just look at how many comments it got
Not one soul disagreed
It started a stampede
All wanting to lash out at the big shot
Men in black are outside wearing a grin
Now I fear everyone who isn’t kin
Strange cameras appeared
At home – they look so weird
I believe paranoia has set in

Limerick
We Are Being Watched
By Elton Camp
Most anywhere today that we happen to be
It’s likely we’re under some type of scrutiny
On streets and at stores, the cameras abound
Both outside and inside the devices are found
To that I personally have no serious objection
It surely helps authorities in crime detection
For an excessive invasion of privacy it is not
If it can help foil a theft or some terrorist plot
But an annoying practice that we all must face
On the Internet, our movements are traced
Even then some checking might be okay
If violent or treasonous things we start to say
If anyone, the president threatens to assassinate
The government has a right, the plans to negate
When the snooping is done for commercial gain
Some law should require from such to refrain
Assume that on the Internet every move u make
There’s someone who secret notice is going to take

I used to watch those Girls Gone Wild videos but I stopped.
The last one that I saw was so shocking that my jaw dropped.
At first everything was fine but then I suddenly screamed "No, not her!"
The reason why I suddenly screamed was because I saw my daughter.
Seeing her on that video nearly gave me a heart attack, I was in a bad shape.
I called the Girls Gone Wild phone number and I ordered all of those tapes.
I burned every one of those tapes after I doused them with gas.
Then I told my daughter that if she ever removes her top again, I'll kick her ass.
I made a firm decision right there and then.
I swore never to watch Girls Gone Wild again.

If big brother were watching me
just think how insanely bored he’d be.
But never the less, I must confess,
I have been spied on ruthlessly.
Not one, but four pair of eyes observe,
disapproving that I have the nerve
to walk on the deck they’ve commandeered.
I am a monster to be feared.
They feed on the chow that I provide,
this creature whom they can’t abide.
Though their own mother approves of me,
I take one step and they all flee.
I don’t know why they’re so afraid.
Is there some subtle hint I’ve made
that if into my hands they get
I’ll spay or neuter the whole quartet?

Laborare Estorare in obscure ANON-ymity
Though to do as they must they'll know nothing but pain
In this richly owned world, self appointed divinity
The righteous still toil in God's Holy Name
We're but offal to corporate greed
In a long chain of man-made disasters
Like a freight train unleashed at full speed
They queue to bow down to their masters
Their exorbitant memberships paid
They gather like rose-stem pricks
As cold as a steel switchblade
Schwabs Great Reset on their lips
Information is media controlled
A cleverly designed social narrative
We're cautioned to do as we're told
Compliance, the crucial imperative
Like corporate ships, overwhelming
A psychopars hands on the rudder
Towards the edge of destruction We're sailing
Big Pharma's in league with Big Brother
Though Big Brothers race is being run
Sometimes his plans they get botched
By a fly in the ointment Anon
They know now the Watchers being Watched

But this pot’s callin the kettle black
Keep watchin and it’ll burn your eyes out
It's a good start
To something I could never finish

I like to think (and
the sooner the better!)
of a cybernetic meadow
where mammals and computers
live together in mutually
programming harmony
like pure water
touching clear sky.
I like to think
(right now, please!)
of a cybernetic forest
filled with pines and electronics
where deer stroll peacefully
past computers
as if they were flowers
with spinning blossoms.
I like to think
(it has to be!)
of a cybernetic ecology
where we are free of our labors
and joined back to nature,
returned to our mammal
brothers and sisters,
and all watched over
by machines of loving grace.
