Best Valor Poems
“Valentinian Valor”
Oh wouldst that I could write of bleeding love
drawn from my heart by arrows from above
thus blame my fate upon the sting of Cupid
to ease the pain of simply being stupid.
Alas, tis said, my courting needs refinement
she’s baffled by what that Valentine meant
a twist of juxtaposed seductive word play
written by a novice in dismay.
Cannot the words of love be truly writ
without exposing writer’s as such twits
that they would wander hopeless in the dark
unknowing of the shelves that are “Hallmark”.
For when you wish to send your very best
‘Tis best to fall in line with all the rest.

Bravery is strength
Courage makes splendid amour
Valor keeps our men
Who could forget what happened on that unsuspecting and sunny day,
when no visible clouds drifted over the Twin Towers?
Little after midnight, the cool rain adds to the melancholy
of the descending angels; and I join them in prayer to remember the tragedy!
This should be a day of remembrance, not of hatred for the ignoble acts
the wicked committed, but would God accept unkindness instead of merciful deeds?
They called it another day of infamy,
and like Pearl Harbor we were taken by surprise;
that was an attack aimed at the military,
but on September 11 the terrorists attacked the civilians!
It seemed like lightning striking down sturdy trees,
and then fire broke out with smoke trails of a thousands feet;
" O my God! ", every employee screamed...quickly running down
the stairs engulfed by fire...causing an indescribable chaos everywhere!
" Take my hand, I will lead you to safety! " the firefighter said to the coughing woman.
" Hold onto my arm! " the policeman yelled out to the frail man,
who had dropped his eyeglasses and couldn't see!
Every firefighter and policeman acted like them, rescuing many without fearing death;
and hundreds of them, that awful morning, never returned home alive...
what a tragedy for their families that watched in horror and couldn't help!
Who wouldn't remember the courage of their noble and willing hearts?
And furthermore, who wouldn't engrave their valorous names on plaques and monuments?
Up above, by the gates of Paradise...Christ and His Father awaited them to accept their souls;
while archangels surrounding God's throne, sung hymns that humans couldn't sing...
those hymns that all the earthly heroes will sing with them when Heaven mourns again!
Their portraits, pictures and memorabilia hang above the fireplaces,
and on the decorated walls of the victims' homes, precincts and firehouses;
how could anybody take them down as they were worthless items?
Prize them more than gold or diamonds, o friends grieving that tremendous loss even today;
don't hate those who caused you sorrow and unbearable pain, be forgiving and show mercy...
as God does toward us; o friends remember your heroes for their valor and sacrifice!
My poem is dedicated to the victims and survivors of the September 11 attacks on America.

Valor is a better word
Valiance that invincibly fortitudes,
Anticipates its own unfailing courage,
Letting heart ignite the patriotic fire,
On boundaries proves the sanguine mettle,
Recognise and salute the chesty fearless.

When occasionally making eye contacts with young girls
That is often that they look away quickly, as they are shy
When making eye contacts with middle-aged women that
Most likely is that we were forced to retreat immediate back
It is always true of that when meeting aging ladies by eyes
In their eyes, I am quite sure that they often look rattling glad
This feeling! ah! Women grow valor, as ought to be said,
While men are accumulating timidity as time goes by
Behold, the Valiant Spirit! housed in a young vibrant body;
A litty like a titty;
Endowed with telepathy;
In this age of complexity.
I marvel at your smile that makes the day bright;
Your soft words that infuse strength;
And your words so refined.
Indeed, you're one of a kind.
Oh Valor!
Uphold thy honor
That those who seek for thy favor
May have a new experience to savor.
Folks, listen when he speaks.
Friends, feel the dimples on his cheeks;
For he smiles like a dove
And his heart like the blue sky above.
Dedicated to myself -Ejire Michael (Mikky-Prince)
She only wanted to see him reach his peak and he murkily nodded as if he too did
agree. She barked out orders and demanded that he stand at attention…He nodded his head
in a seemingly unobtrusive way, in an almost defiant face of dismissal of non-agreement with
her assessment of his efforts… as he struggled to keep up with her demanding pace.
She scorned him in attempted to shun him in front of his peers, in hopes that she might
spark some deep inner hidden desire for him to be at his best during the mocked games…he
gestured with a grin in an adverted attempt to act unashamed, his pride and desire to finish
out the mission kept him silent to her rebuttal and relentless claims that he did not put forth
any effort to do his best for his team. But little did she know, he was already a decorated
soldier of a battle he had won against cancer on his brains, just ten years ago at the tender
age of eight. Valor comes in many facets of people lives, some never known and some never
claimed.
Woman of Valor Original
Oh sweet voluptuous queen
So many night of making love
to thee
Invited the uninvited angels to
weep
Upon your golden breast
You are like a lamp of passion
Your beauty goes deeper than
deep
You are like a friendly morning
bird that sings
With vicious, joyous meloncholy
This is my kiss to your bright
cheek
Cherish it!
In this Folly!
Love is not denying the Lord died for me and you,
Love is always remaining loyal and to be true,
Love is truth, honesty and valor for our God,
To obtain victory and leave behind traces of a fraud,
Love is to follow the book as it was written and read,
To respect the cross as it is and why he bled.
Agony is nigh ever-present in humanity.
It is the nefarious antagonist that unabashedly lurks in the shadows;
And With detestable malice, it strikes with a hellish wrath.
This abhorrent lash is the unintentional crafter of heroism.
It inadvertently forges a shield that encompasses willpower;
And from it, absolute fortitude inhabits its beholder.
To wield this hallowed bulwark, an adamantine resolve is vital.
For the wielder is bequeathed with the insignia of gallantry;
And with this newly reaped brand, one must also retain humility.
Inevitably, the herculean task of attaining leadership takes its toll.
It Will, unfortunately, weigh on the heart of its heritor incessantly;
Despite this, its proprietor must remain vigilant and compassionate.
Dolor ebbs valor
As I sob in deep midnight darkness,
bleeding tears of his betrayal make me drown...
Lose way in whirlpool of incessant thoughts,
I leap to cut through and through,
Subtle desires breathe last..
Ecstatic beats can't help muffle down,
rhyming hearts no more send melody,
some broken beads of diffused parody,
Plucked strings snuff my clown.....
The bruises on soul
silently traipse abysmal,
blackness I embrace
ferrying the albatross,
Bane of dolor ebbs valor.

SOLDIERS OF VALOR
Soldiers of Valor, warriors are we,
Defending our country, protecting all thee.
Soldiers of Valor, warriors are we,
Defending our country, protecting all thee.
Fear no barrier, kept at bay,
Courage, in us, is here to stay.
For, the honor to serve is truly beyond all,
And not defined by rise or fall,
Soldiers of Valor, warriors are we,
Defending our country, protecting all thee.
The loss of companions is for us to bear,
But touching to see the nation’s share,
Battle, war, bloodshed we pass,
Greif, glory, emotion we amass,
Hope and despair, pendulum like,
Oscillating like a naughty tyke,
Soldiers of Valor, warriors are we,
Defending our country, protecting all thee.
To make our people happy, to make our country proud,
We would even make it to the shroud,
For in the safety of our country, lies our peace,
And to get it to them, never will our efforts cease,
And each day we pray to God above,
To shower us with mercy and love,
Soldiers Of Valor, warriors are we,
Defending our country, protecting all thee.
