Giving Thanks

Thanks for the mood this world put me in.
Thanks for the wars, the corruption, and sin.
Thanks for collapsing the market with greed.
Thanks for the stress... for the ulcers that bleed.

Thanks for pretending everything is just fine.
Thanks for the forclosures, and the miserable times.
Thanks for relaxing, while riding our backs.
Thanks for the gas prices, and charging us tax.

Thanks for the lies, and the cries of false hope.
Thanks for the junkies, and supplying their dope.
Thanks for the children who have nothing to eat.
Thanks for the subjects, who bow at your feet.

Thanks for the credit that you took away.
Thanks for the resession, now I can't pay.
Thanks for all the oil spills, and the greenhouse effect.
Thanks for dropping the dime on the National debt.

Thanks for the tension, and all of the drama.
Thanks for your actions that spawned the bad karma.
Thanks for betraying the trust that was built.
Thanks for laying upon us the unneeded guilt.

Thanks for sturring up trouble with one swift kick.
Thanks for drawing the curtain before your big trick.
Thanks for leaving us all with egg on our face.
Thanks for disturbing the vibe, and invading our space.

Sexual Addictions Are Destroying Our Families

Sexual Addictions Are Destroying Our Families!
Many families are being destroyed by sexual addictions!
As they bring into their homes unneeded afflictions!

There are affairs of adultery of all different kinds…
As many allow sin’s pollution to destroy their mind!

Many have no comprehension or fail to see…
The filth of garbage being promoted on t.v.!

Rather than seeking God for his blood’s protection.
Husbands and wives look to others for affection.

God looks and sees the wounded and broken heart.
And before you know it, another family falls apart!

Too much of this is happening in churches today.
Will these families just come together and pray?

It’s time to come together as a family and be strong!
Let’s get rid of the things in our life that don’t belong!

Let’s seek the purity and holiness of God above.
And be strengthened by his majestic love!

Let’s seek God’s protection over our families too!
And speak kind words to another, like; “I LOVE YOU!”

May the love of Christ come and bind us as ONE!
And touch every father, mother, daughter and son!

Lord Jesus, we all need you so much! This very hour!
We can’t make it alone! Without your power!

Please Jesus, restore what the enemy has taken!
I’ve never seen your children left or forsaken!

You are the only one that our family has needed!
Only by your love, will our family be completed!

At the Bus Depot

AT THE BUS DEPOT

Faces and suitcases with little rumbling wheels.
The seat is hard and littered with yesterday’s paper.
How can these moving actors know how it feels
To be old and no longer a ticketed escaper?
Faces fade past - abandoned at the end of the day,
And suitcases are piled in a corner out of the way,
With little ceremony thrown in the baggage space over the round
Rumbling wheels of each escaping Greyhound.
The seat next to every dark window is filled; and it
Is hard to wave a cheery farewell to a stage unlit,
And littered with unfinished details.
With a regretful breath I recall
Yesterday’s family get-togethers, kids’ parties and noise:
Paper roses, children’s games, plastic toys.
How can these faces care about fault or blame?
Moving to every other city you can name,
Actors waving through windows, waving and no one seems to
Know how to live alone. It’s hard, it’s empty,
It feels like a dream gone bad, the black blues,
To be part of yesterday’s theatre reviews,
Old , unneeded, socially undesirable, unwaveable,
And no longer economically viable, without
A ticketed reason to exist here in the depot.
Escaper no more.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Premium Member A Passing Place

An age in our existence its story’s on my mind,
I find some sweet reflections in seasons passing by,
My soul yearns so, for that which ‘was’,
A time of dust gold-wheat where timber stools sat by limpid pool
The taste of hard-boiled sweets,
With gathered friends where laughter rang, as smooth as Woodgrain worn,
So smooth was skin at seventeen,
Oh Lord let me go back for just once more;
I’ll right the wrongs; I’d sing that song that hid behind young lips,
To make Dad proud in his small world,
And Mom I’ll have your extra hug and kiss,
Then I’d say to all of them don’t worry in this flesh, of others
Stares or unneeded cares, or the grudge you’re told to keep,
For the end will come to all these things much sooner than you think,
Don’t hold too long to pain and wrong
Life’s short so keep things sweet.

What Matters (Most)

What Matters…
What Matters Most…

… is Real Laughter
Not Lurid Echoes
Not Just To – Gather
But Staying Close
And Less Clatter-Chatter
Less Lies and Boasts
More Sweet Pitter-Patter
On Calm-Home – Coasts

… And Strong Rafters
And Stronger Posts
Preventive Measures
For Unneeded Dose
And When Bad Guys Scatter
‘Cause Good Guys Accost
… So, Need More Lone Rangers
… Less Alter Egos

And Real Treasure
Not Trinket Woes…
Real Pleasure
Not Powder – Rows
Peace and A Cracker
Than Quarrels and Pot Roast
And To Know Better
… Than To Just Suppose

… Happily Ever-After
Not Lost Co-Host
And When Love Shatters
Hate’s Glass-Frost…
… And A Holy Helper
For Human – Uh-Oh’s !...
That’s What Matters…
… What Matters Most …

The Sky's Tears

Day after day.
Time after time.
Everything has stayed the same.
The doubts in my mind.
The thoughts of the dead.
The ones that I loved most.

A distant dream.
One that only comes when I sleep.
I have wasted my life.
Dreaming my future away,
but no one sees it.
No one believes it.
They only care for themselves.

Alone.
It has been my life.
It will be to the end of time.
There are no tears shed.
No signs of sadness in my head.
Will I ever show my raw feeling
to the disaster of life?

A blank face.
No feelings to be detected.
No one asks if I'm ok.
It's not their business,
but there's no kindness
in a world full of hatred.

Pity.
I hate it,
but I still long for it.
That someone will come.
That I won't be alone.
That no one has left me in the past,
but it's all a dream in my head.

Dreams.
They never last.
They come back,
but so does reality.
So broken.
So unneeded.
So unfair,
but I still use it to help with my fears.

Fears.
They are my weaknesses,
but they are apart of me.
Sadly, they do
cause me to dream my life away.
Will I ever be pitied in the end?

The sky.
It comes at the right time.
It cries the tears I never shed.
Crying is a weakness,
but why does the sky,
who holds up my world outside,
still cries for me in the end?

No one cares.
No one is there.
No one knows me inside.
I least I have the sky
to help me through my hard times.
At least the sky cries my sadness inside.

!! Attitude Change !!

A brand new day, fresh like blooming flowers
Taking the edge from the words you spray

Today I will praise knowing every day I learn to crawl first,
Watch you trip all over yourself when my foot is out.
I'll take the books you read, and scrape your eyes from all judgement
Like catnip, you can sit under my cat paw like a pigeon with broken wings

I will close my eyes, and use you like a walking cane,
See it to believe it, like burning rain

Cover you with a blanket, and teach you how to count change
Clear my mind from all opinions, shut you out from improper thoughts.

Water the oak sides and do break off any unneeded branch from your tree
Cut you like a flower, and show you how it is to stand out

Pledge the world clean, and show you the dirt falling from your face
Keep you in the shadows where you can't escape my flames
Enjoy the whispers, of my taunts that stain your dreams
In with the new, get rid of the old. ( ATTITUDE !)

Sonnet 44 'Nobody Wants a Well, When There Is Sadness'

Nobody wants a well, when there is sadness...
A few drops are enough, to bring on rain!
The world is full, of sorrow, and of madness!
Nobody needs the bottom of the drain...
The purists count emPHASis and sylLABles!
They like to see beans laid out, in a row!
They have no patience with an one, who babbles!
Believe the Sun should not put on a show!
But... we need purists, for they keep us clean!
Demand a higher standard of the lazy!
They state: 'it's not enough to be serene!'
(And unneeded enjambment
Drives 'em crazy!)
But we can only meet their standards, if
The while we write, we're clinging to a cliff!

Premium Member How To Be a Doctor

As retiring physician, allow me to give
Some suggestions on how to both doctor and live.

You have finally finished the studies required.
You're a doctor at last, but in debt deeply mired.
With degree on display, your career can begin.
After years of no income, it's time to cash in.

You will millions more make if you're not an MD,
Even if you must then a proctologist be.
Special privileges, perks, and attention demand.
And invest every cent of your savings in land.

Keep your patients in waiting rooms cooling their heels
Then insist you're so busy you're skipping your meals.
Its decor should be drab and its magazines old,
And consulting rooms bare and depressing and cold.

Give complainants placebos to run up the bill,
And then schedule more visits although they're not ill.
Tell them exercise, diet, don't smoke, and no booze.
Then ignore that yourself; do whatever you choose.

Order unneeded tests to help pay off your loan,
And when golfing or sailing, don't answer your phone.
Always scribble prescriptions to druggists confuse.
Soak the rich and the medicare system abuse.

At the hospital, patient discharges delay
So insurers must pay for additional day.
Stick your head in the doors to consulting fees earn,
And treat nurses like dummies who never will learn.

Drive a Rolls or a Bentley to yokels impress.
And to ward off malpractice suits, never confess
That your sure diagnosis or treatment was wrong.
And you must to Republican party belong.

Be a country club member to join the elite.
Have disdain for inferior people you meet.
Don't give in to temptation to patients caress.
Keep a mistress instead at a secret address.

As a doctor endeavor to give all you've got,
Then retire at age fifty and live on your yacht.

Off the Beaten Path We Go

off the beaten path we go
nothing like the thrill of newness
even when it gets old, something new is discovered like a dylan record
we embrace our respective kid at heart approach to things
it definitely brings us closer and alleviates unneeded stress
we already are graduates of lonely street university both with a masters in isolation studies
now here we go....eager students of professor unexpected
what we learn is more than valuable to our minds and our potential future endeavors
it is like a blank page full of colors with the beautification of water for the purpose of intrigue
when life goes in directions of low places, it inspires you to strive of the highest heights
we are giants....yet still so microscopic in our travails
we yearn to see more, but in the reality of life duty calls in the form of a time clock
however, we bless the heavens for the earnings bestowed upon us nowadays....
....so off the beaten path we go....

Mother, Oh How I Love You

Mother, oh how I love you. You
make me smile, when I am down. You make
all the grey skies turn blue. You make me soup when
I am sick. We have our special “mother daughter days” that
neither of us can share with anyone but us. You’ve helped me survive
in a house full of boys. You’ve helped me through the hard times that being a teenager
brings. And I’m sure that helpful hand won’t stop, Until it is unneeded. And I have a
feeling that will not be for a very long time. For I will always need your kind touch,
your loving kiss, your warm hug, and your gentle voice. I will always need your
inspiring stories of your life and the things you’ve done. Of your very own
spiritual journey. Of the friends you’ve made a long the way. Of the
many places you’ve been, and the people you’ve helped. Mom,
you are my best friend, my guardian angel, my comedian
when I need a laugh, my shoulder when I need to cry.
If there was only one person I could share my life
With, my experiences with, my every second
with, it would be you mom. I will always
turn to you for words of wisdom when
I am in need. I will always keep my
arms wide open, just waiting for
the next warm hug from you.
Mom I love you with all
                                           my heart, and I hope
                                              you never forget
                                                 it. You mean
                                                   the world
                                                     to me.

** So this was my attempt at making a heart, I know it's kind of hard to tell, but it's the best
I could do. **

Malpractice

Malpractice

Doctor, Doctor yes I am back again
Stop telling me to take a seat my friend
Millions of other peoples money you spend
Without the helping hand you promise to lend

You're really not a physician just playing pretend
                 Another unneeded prescription you extend
Then off to your pharmacy downstairs you send
I am putting you on notice so you better comprehend

That this profession for you is now a dead end
Stop your practice or to another realm you'll descend
Damned to Hell with your soul is what I intend
So listen close and take this advice I recommend

Here is your resignation that I've already perfectly penned
Dot your T's, cross your eyes because this is the end...

Escape

You know what i need? A Fing escape.
They planted a seed. These feelings they made.
Worthless, unneeded, a waste of space.
All the words youll find on my face.
Fake smiles, crappy trys.
No love. I lye.
Face down on a cold floor.
The air in my lungs is no more.
Cold to the touch. What such,
A shame that this man, consumed by a crutch.
Depression leaves you empty indeed.
Suicide will be everything i need.
As you find me laying cold in my blood.
You ll always remember the days in the mud.
You pictured me happy. And that seemed clear.
But what you cant see. Is what causes true fear.
I suffer from a disease. One that will kill me.
And one day youll see. I really was lonely.
I am not who you think. Im a man in disguise.
Scared of himself and the watchfull eyes.
I regret a lot. And that yall will see.
Who i am. Isnt me.

Satan Hates Everything That God Loves

Satan HATES everything that God loves!
He tries to counterfeit everything he does!

He goes about as a lion, seeking whom to devour!
He comes after us! But God alone has the power!

Satan will twist God’s truth, into a corruptible lie!
He has one mission!
And that is to see you die!

He wants to enslave you into deep addictions!
And bring into your life, unneeded afflictions!

He has one purpose, ambition and goal…
Is to seek eternal damnation of your very soul!

Jesus has come! His TRUTH can set you free!
He has come that you may have life abundantly!

Won’t you accept him? You can overcome!
Through the shed blood, and power of God’s son!

All glory to Jesus! All praise to
HIM on high!
He is your protector!
He is El-Shaddai!

Won’t you allow God’s love
 to bring you salvation?
He offers it to right now!
  A heavenly invitation!

God’s love is stronger than Satan!
 HE reigns supreme!
He can help you to overcome,
 the lies the devil brings!
