Best Tumble Poems
I’m on a twilight stroll with my beau,
we take a route we’ve often walked before.
Mystical moonlight flickers in the trees,
“whose woods these are, I think I know”*
A hooting owl startles me, I fall and twist my knee,
I try to stand, cry out pain; I cannot walk with ease.
We can see twinkling lights in the distance,
perhaps someone’s at home who can help me.
My beau covers me with his warm coat,
He hurries away so he can get assistance.
I pray that he doesn’t have too far to go,
and that the cottage is not too remote.
He soon returns with another guy,
I know his face, oh hello Steve I cry.
I was almost certain he lived close by,
as he sells wood carvings which I buy!

life, death and tumbleweed
I have never encountered tumbleweed
in all of its restless rolling glory
never really thought about it
until just now.
if you ask me why now
my mind would appear
as a new page
filled with potential
but all unformed
brown dried skeletal lace
at the mercy
of every wind that blows
crackling scraping
it was once green
leafed and filled with life
rooted into the soil
beneath passing cloud
the motions of sun and moon
in death it moves
with thin fragile beauty
free.
Come dance in the waters
that summer has warmed
amidst the froth of the seas
Hear the sighs that echo from tides
as the crescents ripple in breeze
Join the surfers
as they ride in on the waves
balancing bravely so tall
watch as their confidence grows so high
until showing off some do fall
It’s one enormous bath
with the plug left in
where people swim around in the quay
and in that huge sink, the ships sail in
with the goods coming home from away
See how the bathers go in for a dip
desperate to cool down in the sun
and children play sports
on the beach with new friends
running around with such fun
Well hello there all my sweet dudes and dudettes
As I write this I contemplate dancing with the Rockettes
However when attempting their famous kicks
This endeavour leaves me in quite a fix
I ungraciously tumble on me bummo and my undies I do wet

Bet this conjures up such a charmingly exquisite, artsy fartsy, mental picture, right!!!
I want to fly, to spread my wings
and sprinkle love on everything –
on every creature known to man
around this world and back again.
I want to soar, to duck and dive,
to race and tumble, feel alive!
To travel freely without care
and feel the wind blow through my hair!
I want to jump to highest heights!
And free fall just above the sight
of land, touch down, and jump once more;
then, rest my wings upon earth’s floor.
And, then, as I lay down to sleep,
I’ll sing to you sweet melodies
and pray for peace for all mankind
from now until the end of time.
we are here only for
the pure joy of Living,
a perfect simplicity of
blend requiem of life well lived
cognizant of ill pressed non beliefs
distant ***** dagger domestications
prisoner soulless sex socializations
livid love lies, greedy gonad gossip
self levied hate from sources abrupt
from in to ex turnal left on
suppressed brain avenues ahead.
Only back issues available, all
forward enterprises, ticketable,
jailable, own your thought police.
A Candid jubilee recipe awaits us;
A heart full unconditional love
cup of Self Awareness concentrate,
a pinch of truth, integrity, empathy,
mix carefully into one's soul, steep o'er night
wake up one with everything, everyone.
"I Tumbled
to see you"
said a bumbling bee
Who...
waves
to commit
with all
of a hartly
as it
shaves by
carving a part
on a pair
of eyes
to see
just what
dreams
of Thunder
from clouds
of wonder
were ahead...
A hearty
wave back
as it fled
made see
and humble
wasn't sure
of which t'rue
had truly been
truth seen
in a comment
as it were
it went and
only she
knew
so
a gamble
of scramble
ample in
chance
and too
a romance
became an

Bumble me , tumble me
tickle me blue , all the money in the world could not satisify you,
needful things , dreadful things and other things too,
is all that is needed to satisfy you.
In the blizzard, Rudolph tumbled and swayed,
Santa lost his balance, fell down dismayed,
What surprise was in store!
When I opened the door,
And saw gifts scattered with Santa out, splayed!

The Forest moves only,
with the wind,
rocks in frozen tumble lay,
Time patiently watches,
my feet tread where children played,
long ago,
so very long before this day,
many smiles have walked this ground,
untold circles around this Sun,
the Forest grows slowly,
and rocks in frozen tumble lay.
Where, when, and how will it happen?
If I ask questions, I receive questions
Of adoration. Silence ensues.
In worriment, I catch a look
On my lady's face, and come
To realize her head is spinning.
Mediums between tongues tumble,
Tangled in arms, clinging between rings
As glances unravel social instability.
Affection answers hope valiantly,
Subsiding gracefully as
A raging fire would on a cold, dark night.
My lady follows in smiles and laughs,
Free from the shade, dancing
With no resolve, encasing
The components of a natural beauty.
I graze curves with hungry hands
And drive home, loving insatiably.
Although flames feed the hungry superfluously,
The lovely lairs where guardians wage war
Lie unknown to the conscious. The scrupulous
Droves defend onslaughts against entrances.
True love is angelic, demonic,
Coaxing the levity of everyday life.
End over end, minute over minute,
Medleys stir and absolve while forging
With dormant love pleas. Please
Don't leave me here, tumbling
Alone among questions of silence,
Turbulence, trust and wanton reason.
Everything is solvent
As the moon looms over the horizon,
But words which wander wonderfully
In person parade wistfully
In absence and shed
Tears when no one is looking.
Eternity With You
It seems like an eternity that you have been gone,
But every day; you're still on my mind, like a song
Sidling through this loving heart of mine
It never fails, every single day, every single time.
But I don't mind that you do,
You'd always bring a smile with you
So, pull up a chair, Hunny let's reminisce
You can stay with me for a while, I insist.
Remember when the kids were small,
We would go to the "Meadows of Our Love."
Where the kids would rumble and tumble around
We would talk for hours, holding hands being strong.
I'll never forget; those days done passed,
You brightened my days; you made me laugh
How could I forget; the time that we shared
When you were here, inside our love that we beard.
I am burning the "Lilac" candle for you,
In appreciation for; "remembering, my boo."
Now that you're gone, I have accepted your leave;
I'll be waiting in the "Meadows," our Season's to breathe.
R.I.P. Shannon, I love you; you complete me!
Common sense if learnt, season to season
Excels all intellectual reason.
tumble, little tumbleweed
come play ‘round my feet
I’ll dote my cares upon you
midst tenderness, replete
tumble, little tumbleweed
until you've found a place
devote time to appreciate
the treasures you embrace
tumble, little tumbleweed
dance your wonders, wild
tho’ I call you tumbleweed
you’re but my dearest child
tumble, little tumbleweed
learn and dream and grow
I'll love you thru the Evers
though I will watch you go
tumble, little tumbleweed
strong and straight and true
now I must let you tumble on
please kiss me, sweet, adieu
tumble, little tumbleweed …
tumble.

I broke a fingernail...
it's the least of my worries
fractured finger hurts
I took a tumble this morning.... after 3 1/2 hours at A & E the xrays revealed that I've broken my little finger, i will be visiting the fracture clinic in the morning.
Apologies in advance as I won't be able to comment as much as I would normally do.
